Hi, Renee here today to share a step-by-step tutorial of how I put this Hot Cocoa layout together using the Winter Wonderland collection.  We are keeping cozy and warm this winter with great tasting hot cocoa.

Here’s a look at the hidden journaling and photo.

I started this layout by trimming the Cup Of Cocoa pattern paper to 8 5/8″ x 12″ and adhering it to the Blizzard pattern paper.

I added a Washi Tape decorative strip just under the Cup Of Cocoa pattern paper.

I trimmed the Bundle Up pattern paper to 6 1/4″ x 8 7/8″.  I scored and folded it in half.  I added a trimmed piece of Frosty pattern paper to cover the top part and adhered a photo of my girls enjoying their hot cocoa.  It opens up to a close-up photo of one of their cups.  Love the mini marshmallow smile floating in the hot cocoa!

I trimmed the Shiver pattern paper to about 4 3/4″ x 6 1/2″ and adhered my photos to it.

I trimmed the Flurries pattern paper to about 5″ x 7″ and added it towards the bottom of my page (1″ from the left edge of the page).  I added the “It’s a Hot Cocoa Kind of Day” card from the Snow Fun pattern paper (1″ from the right edge of the page).  I added splatters of “spilled hot cocoa” to my page for fun.

I added my photo layers.  I stamped the date my photo was taken as well as a couple of fun phrases.

I added a couple of Chips Die-Cut Shapes with Glitter.  The cup of hot cocoa shape is used to open up the flap to see the hidden journaling and photo.

Here’s a close-up of my journaling which I printed onto a 3 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ cut piece of the Flurries pattern paper.  I used a fun font called Milk Cocoa for the journaling on this layout.

I added a cute penguin Sticker to my page.

Hot Cocoa Valentine Quick Gift

Hello, Amy here from The Happy Scraps today. It’s been chilly here in Utah, and what better way to warm up than with a little hot cocoa and peppermint? I’m excited to share this Hot Cocoa Valentine quick gift project with you today. It is really easy, and it’s cute!

Learn how @thehappyscraps put this Hot Cocoa Valentine Quick Gift together using the @pebblesinc #bemine and #winterwonderland collections.

I gathered up the supplies I needed for this. I pulled from the Be Mine Collection as well as the Winter Wonderland Collection.

I love this diagonal striped on the back of the Be Mine paper from the Be Mine Collection and decided to use that to cover my can of hot cocoa. I measured the can, and then cut the paper to the right size.

Using Sticky Thumb two-sided adhesive tape, placed some on both ends of my paper.

Then I wrapped it around my can of cocoa.

I cut a thinner strip of the XOXO piece of paper and used the pink side to place on the middle of the can.

Using dimensional adhesive, I attached a Glitter Snowflake.

I pulled out the “you’re my cup of tea” chip from the Be Mine Chips and trimmed it like pictured.

I added a Puffy Sticker Heart to cover up the word “tea”.

I added the “you’re my cup of” chip along with the cut cup of hot cocoa chip to my can, and then spelled the word “cocoa” with the Winter Wonderland Glittered Thickers.

I crushed up some candy canes and put them in a little cellophane bag and tied them up with some baker’s twine.

I used a piece of the same baker’s twine to attach the bag full of candy cane peppermint to the can.

I traced the can lid onto the back of the Be Mine Sugar Cookies paper then cut it out. I had to trim a little extra off the edges to make it fit just inside the lip on the lid.

Once I attached the paper onto the lid, I added some Puffy Sticker Hearts.

I love the way the glittery pieces, the Be Mine and the Winter Wonderland collections all come together on this, don’t you?

The little snowflake on the mug even has glitter on it along with the whipped cream. Doesn’t that just make you want a cup of hot cocoa?

So grab your supplies and put this together for your valentine this year. They will love having a nice warm drink to sip on during these cold winter months.

Winter Wonderland Layout with Mendi

Hi there!  It’s Mendi here with a couple of fun winter themed layouts using more of Pebbles darling Winter Wonderland collection.
For my first layout I knew when I saw the stickers with princesses on sleds that I had just the right photo to use with them!  I wanted to draw the viewer‘s eye through the page so I chose to position my embellishments in three different corners to form my visual triangle.
For my snowflake, I wanted to give it a little extra dimension so I cut apart a second glitter snowflake die-cut and layered it over the large snowflake with foam tape and then topped it with a circle sticker from the collection and asmall rhinestone.  After I was done I felt like my snowflake was sort of getting lost with the pale blue paper below so to give it a bit of punch I cut some navy blue paper to layer below it.  I think it made a huge difference.

For my bottom, right corner I die-cut some white cardstock to form a slope to create a little scene with the second princess & snowflake stickers.  For my pennant border along the bottom I cut various papers from the 6×6 pad and strips of washi tape (mounted onto cardstock for stablity).

For my second layout, I wanted to create a layout using photos from that same week that could stand on it’s own, but also look great next to my other page in the scrapbook album.

For this layout I wanted to primarily focus on all the yummy patterns in the washi tape book.  I must say I am pretty smitten with this product!  You get so much bang for the buck with all the variety and options in one book with 6 full pages of 12″ washi tape!

I am also loving the beautiful glittery Thickers.  Foam Thickers have always been my favorite to work with and these are absolutely gorgeous in person!  To add a little interest to my washi tape strips, I decided to stitch them on in coordinating colors of thread.

Once again, I turned to the same glitter snowflake die-cuts to form my visual triangle, mixed with some of the smaller snowflake stickers from the collection.  I had fun mixing it up with different layers including the fun puffy snowflake stickers.

I hope I’ve inspired you to pull out your own snowy pictures and scrapbook them using this pretty collection.  I had so much fun playing with all the pretty patterns!

10 Minute Sparkle Wall Hanging

The holidays are nearly over, but winter is bound to stick around for a little while longer. Brighten up those dreary winter days with some happy, sparkly–and easy–home décor.

10 Minute Sparkle Wall Hanging by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc Winter Wonderland and DIY Home collections

Inspired by a quote on one of the journaling cards in the Winter Wonderland collection, I created an easy 10 minute sparkle wall hanging that will bring a little sparkle into my home this winter. Easy to customize, you can choose your own custom quote that will inspire you.

I liked the contrast of the natural wood and gold glitter so I didn’t embellish the poster hanger, but you can decorate the poster hanger like Holly did here. TIP: The poster hanger magnets make it easy to switch out your wall hanging for each season.

All you need for this 10 minute wall hanging is a sheet of 12″ x 12″ patterned paper, Thickers, a poster hanger, and some embellishments. There are no supplies or special skills required. Your sticker book days from elementary school will come in handy, though.

10 Minute Sparkle Wall Hanging by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc Winter Wonderland and DIY Home collections

The DIY Home poster hanger makes this project super easy. It fits a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper perfectly. Simply separate the two magnets on the top and bottom pieces and sandwich your paper in between. It is super easy to slide them into place. TIP: If your magnets seem wonky and don’t connect properly, rotate one 180 degrees.

To arrange your Thickers just right, start by placing the gold glittered word on the page, but don’t adhere it just yet. I like to start by affixing the last letter first so I know where my word is going to end. Affix the letters lightly so you can easily rearrange them if needed.

Add some pretty snowflake embellishments and attach the poster hanger and you have an easy 10 minute wall hanging. Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Amanda
