Well, hello Pebbles friends! It’s Wendy Sue here, sharing a fun little idea in honor of National Walking Day! What? You didn’t know it was National Walking Day? Well, it sure is! And that is exactly why I’m renewing my efforts to get back into a regular walking/exercise routine! And, since I’m all about lists and charts and visual evidence of my efforts, I whipped up a fun little journal/planner to keep track of my walking workouts! Here’s a look at the finished project:
It was so easy put this together, and making it cute is extra motivation, right?
I started by creating a simple table and printing it out on cardstock. Next, I trimmed a patterned paper to fit above the table:
I trimmed one of the tags from the patterned paper and created an additional tag to layer underneath.
I added a floral dimensional sticker, some die cut ephemera pieces, a gold pin, and some coordinating gingham ribbon.
I added some black thickers to spell out “Walk!” and then placed them on some text patterned paper.
I created my own dimensional stickers by placing foam adhesive on the back of the bee cardstock stickers. I didn’t want to cover up very much of the writing space, but I couldn’t resist placing this cute little flamingo in the corner. His legs are great inspiration for walking, aren’t they? 😉
Of course, placing the piece on a cute clipboard and hanging it near my treadmill will be the perfect way to both display my cute creation and inspire my daily walks!
Happy National Walking Day to all!
