Hello everyone! This is Eva Pizarro and today I want to show you how to make this fun Valentine’s card. I love the look of shaker cards: clean, simple and everyone always loves them! Plus it is almost impossible not to shake them when you receive them!
To start, cut a 4×8 inch piece of vellum and score it in half. Cut another piece slightly larger.
Sew the two pieces together, front and back. Right before you are done sewing put your confetti hearts inside. You can also glue some hearts to your card first, that way even if all the hearts fall down you will still have some of them in the upper part of your card.
Cut the excess of vellum. I do this because sometimes when you are sewing the bottom paper moves. This way you can be sure the two papers are aligned perfectly.
Embellish the front of your card.
To write something on the inside, just punch a circle and glue it inside.
I did two cards – one with vellum and one with a transparency. What do you think? Aren’t they cute?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
