Time is running out on handmade, but Kim Jeffress is sharing some last minute holiday gift tags that you still have time to create!

Holiday Gift Tags

Hands up if you are always in need for last minute Christmas tags! I know I am so I created these tags that took me less than 30 minutes to make and they look super cute!

Last minute handmade gift tags

I went with papers that I had on hand , not a Christmas paper insight. In fact I used some Halloween pattern paper from the Thirty One collection for the base of my tags. I simply cut in half pages from the 6×6 pad.

I then tore out the red and green pages from the Basics Cardmaking pad and free- hand cut three different sized triangles for each tag.

I added in a small strip of pattern paper for the tree trunk then used my Xyron 3/8″ (10mm) Dots to adhere the triangles in the form of the leaves. I wanted the leaves to look like they are floating on the card. To complete I added some Opal dust glitter to the triangles for a festive feel.

Everyone loves a special, handmade touch on a gift they receive!

Snowman Gift Tag

I started my gift with a small tag cut using a die from a piece of beautiful POW! glitter paper. To make sure my blag layer stayed adhered to the glittery paper I used some double sided High Tack Tape from Xyron.

A couple of foam squares on the back of my snowman (cut with my Cameo using AC cardstock) made him really stand out on my tag.

I really wanted to use a fun black and white bag from the Thirty One Collection to wrap my gift. Coloring in a few of the white dots with a red marker gave the bag more of a Christmas feel.

Handmade Christmas Cards

There are few traditions that we’ve held onto as well as that of sending Christmas cards. Though things have changed over the years and many send Christmas letters or photo postcards, we’re still in love with a beautiful handmade card.

Handmade Christmas CardsAll week, the Pebbles design team will be sharing some of their favorite handmade Christmas card designs.

Today, Design Team Member Eva Pizzaro is sharing a set of matching cards made from everyday papers perfect for wishing anyone a happy holiday season.

Handmade Christmas Cards

I love to make Christmas cards, but most of the time I don’t have a Christmas collection in my paper stash. An easy way to solve this problem is to use a Christmas color combo and recreate an object, like an ornament, or in my case a tree.

To make these cards I cut a background with my cameo and embellished the tree with some papers and little candy dots.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

Thanksgiving

Who’s ready for pie? Thanksgiving dinner wouldn’t be complete without having a slice of handmade Pumpkin Pie made with fresh ingredients from Pebbles. Today, Design Team Member Renee Zwirek is sharing a fun pie paper favor box craft.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box Tutorial

Pumpkin Pie Favor

You can make these pie slices as party favors for your holiday guests or as a hostess gift. It looks adorable, fun, and has a sweet surprise inside! You can fill it with just about anything: popcorn for the kids, a gift card for a holiday birthday, or a wonderful thank you note.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

No fancy tools needed for this project. I started by making my own template for the paper pie slice. You can make your template any size that you prefer.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

This template is used for both the top and bottom slices of the pie. So, once you have made your template, you’ll need to cut out two pieces from either cardstock or pattern paper. I’m using white cardstock as the base for my pie slice and then I’ll wrap it with the pattern paper I chose. I did it this way because I wanted to use a pattern paper from the Thirty-One line and did not want the skulls on the reverse side to show inside the pie.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

I added the adhesive on the flaps that I folded in and put it all together.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

Now I have a top and a bottom that fit perfectly together.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

I wrapped the bottom piece of the pie using the orange chevron pattern as my pumpkin filling. I wrapped the top piece of the pie using the book pattern as my whipped topping.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

I cut out some leaves from a variety of pattern papers. Then, I striped, dotted, and painted the leaves using Zazz! Glitter Glue for some pretty sparkle.

Pumpkin Pie Favor Box

I attached a Mini Clothes Pin and an “I’m thankful” sentiment banner along with the leaves to the top of the pie. I tied it all up with some Glitter Ribbon.
