Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog sharing a quick tutorial on how to create a Grateful Jar for this season using the lovely “This Is Family” line.

Creating a Grateful Jar it is easy with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the "This is Family" line from @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc

One of the most important things that I try to teach my son is that he has to be grateful for all the wonderful things he has in life, all the opportunities and never take anything for granted! Even though we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Chile, I believe it is a great opportunity to pond on all the things we are grateful for.

To create this simple Grateful Jar start by washing a big glass jar and decorate it with some stickers. I really like this small sticker sheets because they are transparent and let you see trough! Perfect for this kind of project!

I used some ephemera to decorate the lid of my jar and these beautiful cooper phrases to put the title.

The last step to decorate my jar was to hang some decorations. I used ephemera, tags, and even a cute flower clip!

Finally, I created a small box with my 1,2,3 Punch Board to hold little pieces of paper. I love the happy fall colors of the “This Is Family” line!

I created a small station at my house with everything you need to write the small notes, that way, you can use it anytime you want and don’t have any excuses!

I think it will be very helpful to read all the things we are grateful for after these Holidays! I hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving season and thank you for visiting the blog!

Gratitude Journal ft. Along the Way

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today showing you how to create a cute and easy Gratitude Journal using the new Along the Way line from Jen Hadfield.

A few years ago I made a Gratitude Journal to write one thing everyday, I loved it but somedays I felt I needed more space to express myself. I created this small Gratitude Journal that I think would be perfect to give to a friend during this season!

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

I started by cutting this patterned paper in 4×6 inch pieces. Each piece has two images and on the other side the patterned paper has a squared pattern so it is perfect for journaling.

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

I also cut some plain paper 4 x6 inch and bend everything in half.

Using my Book Binding Guide by We R Memory Keepers I made holes on all my pages. The tool has a small inclination and you can keep the pages together by twisting the circles! Perfect holes every time!

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

I arranged my pages by mixing patterned paper and plain paper pages. On the base I added my cover that was slightly wider than 6 inch.

Next, I used waxed thread to create a small saddle binding. Go all the way down sewing all the pages and then go up. Tighten your stitches and make a knot on top.

I also used my Mini Magnetic Mat and my Craft Knife to even the edges of my journal.

I used the stickers and die cuts to embellish my book. This line was sentiments perfect for thanksgiving and lovely florals, it is one of my favorite collections so far!

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

The cover has a very simple sentiment and I added a ribbon to close the journal.

If you want to give these as gifts you can add a strip of patterned paper and a tag on top. The tag package has 36 pieces in 6 different designs! Just add one to one gift and you are ready to go!

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

I really like how the journal turned out, now I have plenty of space to write all the things I am grateful for.

How about you? Do you keep a gratitude journal? I think it is a great exercise and a very powerful habit, if you don’t do it you should give it a try!

@evapizarrov teaches you how to make a cute Gratitude Journal using the new #AlongtheWay line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

And here’s the project I did a few years ago! If you don’t have much time this is perfect! You only need to write one word a day and at then end of the year you will have a full mini book filled with gratitude!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and thank you for joining me today!

Who else is ready for a new challenge? We certainly are! It is so fun to try something new each month, especially when it centers around a sketch! Guess what…we have a challenge… but there isn’t a sketch to follow (What?!!).  Instead, there are fun phrases and images to inspire your creativity. Here they are:

Do you see a theme?? We are embracing gratitude this month! Who else tries to live in gratitude daily? We do – but sometimes we forget to look for the positive.  Hope you don’t mind using this (along with us) as a reminder to do better this month!

So…how does the challenge work? All we ask is that you create a project that is centered around gratitude or thanksgiving.  We asked some friends to create projects that might help inspire you.  Here are their beautiful creations:

Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Banner

Halloween will soon be over and it will be time to decorate for the next big holiday! It’s easy to transition into Thanksgiving decor and this quick and easy Thanksgiving Banner is proof that it doesn’t take a ton of time and effort to add a little thankful flair to your fall decorations! And you’d never guess that I used papers and stickers from the “Spooky Boo” collection for my banner, but I sure did!

Isn’t it cute?  Here’s how you can whip one up for yourself:

Start by gathering some of the patterned papers that are not obviously Halloween-themed. Use a digital die cut machine (or hand cut) to create banner flag shapes.

Cut the same number of banner shapes from kraft (or whatever color you choose) solid cardstock.  Cut the letters to spell “thankful” from the centers of the kraft banners.

This next step is optional, but I love adding a little bit of detail and interest by stitching around the perimeter of each flag with white thread. Secure the loose threads on the backside with tape.

Next, punch holes in the corners of all of the kraft flags:

Use one of the kraft flags as a template and punch corresponding holes in the patterned flags:

Arrange the patterned flags behind each kraft flag, but do NOT attach them with glue.

The only piece that is actually glued down is the center of the letter “a:”

Now it’s time to string the flags together with jute!

Start with the last letter (“L”) and slide it on the spool of jute.

Spelling out the word backwards, add the remaining flags:

There are also some fun fallish stickers on the Spooky Boo Sticker sheet.  I chose a few to add to some of the banners:

I opted to use foam adhesive squares behind some of the stickers for a bit of dimension.

See how easy that was?  Now string it up and enjoy this fun little reminder of Thanksgiving for the next few weeks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Pebbles fans! Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a quick and easy place card for your Thanksgiving table.

Decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table with leaves and thank you notes made with the new #SpookyBoo line from @pebblesinc. pc:@evapizarrov #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc

I love to include a personal message in place cards, especially during Thanksgiving, I think they add the perfect touch and they also embellish the table!

I created these quick Place Cards in minutes with the help of patterned paper and my die cut machine. I started by cutting some leaves in my favorite fall patterns from the Spooky Boo line.

Next, I cut slightly bigger leaves in orange and white and adhered the patterned paper leaves on top of the orange cardstock.

I used the Word Stickers from the Along the Way line to add a Thank you sentiment. The package has plenty “thank you” words so you only need one package for this project!

I wrote a few words in the white leaf and placed the colored leaf on top, I added a bit of glue on the steam to keep everything together.

You can add the recipients’ name in many ways: with your Happy Jig, with a brush pen, stamps, etc. I decided to use these lovely Thickers from the Along the Way line that coordinated perfectly with my papers!

And here are all my place cards done, they are very quick and I am sure all your guests are going to love the personalized notes.
