Looking for a fun last-minute gift to give to your child’s teacher before the last day of school? Be sure to check out this teacher clipboard created by Designer Amanda Coleman.

Teacher Appreciation

Teacher Appreciation is a fun time of year for our family as it gives us a chance to give an extra special Thank You to the teachers that do so much for our kids.  This year I put together some pretty clipboards for my kids to give to their teachers.

Altering a clipboard is an easy project to tackle.  Apply a thin coat of liquid adhesive to your clipboard (I used Mod Podge) and adhere the paper.  Be sure to cut out a notch for the clip before adhering the paper.   Flip the clipboard over and trim any excess paper with a craft knife.

Use glittered foam Thickers to add the teacher’s name to the bottom of the clipboard.  Add some die cut flowers to make a cute bouquet.  If you want your clipboard to have a low profile, swap the foam Thickers with flat alpha stickers or die cut vinyl.

I made the mini notebook by binding together 20 sheets of printer paper with a patterned paper binding and some grommets.  Super easy!

Have you thanked a teacher today?

Teacher Appreciation Gift

Welcome Candace Zentner who’s showcasing a fun teacher appreciation gift today.

Teacher Appreciation

If there are people in our lives who we appreciate, it’s teachers. My oldest daughter is in Kindergarten and we love putting together fun little treats to show her teacher how much we love her.

Since Spring is here I thought I would use the new Garden Party collection to put together a treat jar. .

I started by taking a jar from the dollarstore and adding some detail with the clear decorative tape that matches this collection. Beause the tape is clear, it looks especially great on glass!

I also used some dies from Jaded Blossom to cut candy wraps out of patterned paper to decorate the chocolates.

To create my pretty tag I started with a pocket and insert and layered some die cuts using foam stickers. To add some more detail, I used some chunky glitter on certain areas of the die cuts.

On the insert I added a bee die cut and a fun sentiment (also from Jaded Blossom) that I knew my daughter’s teacher would enjoy.

I hope my project has inspired you to create a unique gift your kids’ teachers will love! Have a great day!

Teacher Appreciation

Hello all! Juliana here from 17turtles. With the end of the school year coming to a close, I’m sure many of us are looking for ways to say “thank you” to the teachers who helped our children “bloom and grow” during the past year.

Teachers plant seeds of knowledge in our children that can bloom and grow forever and I was inspired by this concept to create a floral bouquet using die cut cardstock flowers from the Garden Party collection.

To create this paper flower bouquet, begin with a small metal bucket. These can be found at your local craft store, dollar store and sometimes Target. Cut a piece of floral foam to fit inside the bottom of the bucket.

Cut lengths of wrapped florist wire and attach flower die cuts or stickers to the top of them using hot glue. Insert the flowers into the floral foam and arrange them until you are pleased with their placement. Use hot glue to permanently attach them to the floral foam. Fill the inside of the bucket with spanish moss to hide the wire and foam.

To embellish the outside of the bucket, adhere the “Bloom & Grow” sticker and lady bug die cut. Tie a ribbon into a bow and attach it to the front of the bucket.

Your floral bouquet is complete and ready to give as a teach appreciation gift. I also created a coordinating thank you cardusing the Garden Party Pockets and Inserts. I’d love for you to visit my blog and see it for yourself.

I hope you enjoyed the project I shared with you and that it inspires you to create something hand made for that special teacher in your child’s life.

Are you ready to gear up for teacher appreciation? While you may not have

Teacher Appreciation

Hello everyone! Nina here to share a teacher’s gift idea: a classroom decoration.

I used the glitter foam thickers to spell the teacher’s name and lots of cardstock shapes and embellishments to create the flower frame.

Add some critters here and there for more visual interest.

I used two cardstock shape packs but I didn’t need to worry about the color harmony because they are all from the Garden Party collection and are designed to work together.

I hope that Mrs. Riley will enjoy this floral frame decoration!

You can find more step photos on how I made this classroom decoration on my blog.

I love that it can be easily altered for some other home decoration projects too!

Thank you for stopping by. Happy Crafting!
