Spring Home Decor

Hello everyone! how are you? I’m Eva Pizarro and today I am here to show you a Spring Home Decor full of flowers and happy colors. I have told you before that I love to incorporate nature in my home but I don’t have a green thumb so it’s not easy to have fresh flowers or plants all year long. Well, with this project you will have the Spring spirit all the time, flowers and vibrant colors really can brighten our day!

To make the flowers I used a mix of flowers made with my die cutting machine and some that I cut from the lovely floral papers you can find in this collection.

I also included some diecuts from this package of ephemera, I love this product! you get cardstock and vellum diecuts perfect to embellish your projects.

Cut a piece of white paper and use your wood frame to hang it. The wood frame has two pieces of magnet and you just have to put the paper between them. Here I used a patterned paper so you can see it more easily.

If you don’t have a die cut machine just make your own dimensional flowers! Here I will show you two simple ones:

For this rolled up flower: Start with a circle and cut it in a spiral shape (like the line I drew), From the outer edge begin rolling your flower, you can help yourself with a toothpick. When you are done rolling glue your flower to the base using hot glue.

If you want you can make the spiral with scalloped scissors or bend the edges a little before rolling for a different look!

For this one, cut a strip of paper and make a fringe in one of the edges. Roll it up with a toothpick and glue it. Open your fringe and if you want decore the center with a brad or button.

I did lots of flowers and my Sticky Thumb cordless glue gun made the job a lot easier! I love this little gadget!

I glue all the flowers and leaves to my paper and this is how it turned up!

I love the dimension of the 3D flowers mixed with the die cuts.

Hi friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a fun little gift project!  Actually, it’s more of a gift wrap project, perfect for holding a homemade treat.  Giving someone a little bottle of preserves or jelly or some other homemade treat (or even a little jar full of store-bought treats) is always sweet and thoughtful.  Creating a unique, one-of-a-kind gift box makes it even more special!  With the pre-made gift boxes as a starting point, these boxes came together super fast!

Quick Gift Boxes by @Wendysuea with the new "Jen Hadfield - Everyday" Collection by @pebblesinc.

Begin by cutting the lid and flaps off of the little gift box.

Now assemble the box.

Next, cut two strips of paper from the 6×6 paper pad – one should be 1 3/4″ x 4″ and the other should be 1″x5″

Now cut some of the 2″ squares from the “Happy Thoughts” paper.

Using some foam dots to assemble the layers, adding a die-cut shape as the final touch to the box front.

After filling the small mason jar with a home-made (or store-bought) treat, use a circle punch to punch a coordinating paper and place under the ring on the jar top.

Finally, cut one of the “Happy Thoughts” from the 6×6 paper pad, punch a hole in the corner.

Tie around the jar lid with twine or jute.

And simply pop the jar into the lidless box:

Amy here from The Happy Scraps today. I’m so excited to share this project with you using the Winter Wonderland collection. Do you enjoy giving neighbor gifts to your friends and neighbors for Christmas? Today I’m sharing this Simple Snowball Neighbor Gift and the best part is, even if you live in a warm climate where you don’t have snow, you can still give these Snowball gifts to your friends.

Create these interactive and fun gifts for friends and neighbors using the #winterwonderland collection with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog.

I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board and used the instructions to make a 4″ box out of a 12″ x 12″ paper.

I trimmed the corners off of each side of the paper because I wanted to create a box without a top.

This is what your paper should look like before it’s folded.

Fold your paper on the score lines, then use the Sticky Thumb Double Sided Tape and place on each corner like pictured below.

Fold your box together adhereing the corner together like pictured. Repeat for each corner.

Once the box is assembled, use more double sided tape on each flap inside the box.

Wrap your box in cellophane wrap and tie it with some baker’s twine.

Use a mini clothes pin and place a Winter Wonderland Icons Glitter Sticker on it. Attach the clothes pin to the baker’s twine.

The Winter Wonderland Snowfun sheet of paper has so many fun saying on cards, there are several to choose from. I thought the Snow Ball Fight card was fun for these little Snowball Neighbor Gifts.

Mini Fall Cards

Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I want to show you how to make cute little cards to thank someone during this fall season.

I love the gold trend that we have been seeing in scrapbook supplies during the past releases so I thought I could incorporate some gold into the gorgeous wood veneer pieces from the Harvest collection.

To embellish my leaves I covered a piece of the wood veneer with some washi tape and used some ink to color one side of the leaf. (You can see other color techniques in this previous post.)

Rub your leaves on the ink pad and remove the washi tape.

Place another strip of washi tape in another direction, apply liquid glue with a small brush and cover with glitter. Let dry.

Cut small cards and use this BIG alpha stamp from the From Me to You collection to add your sentiment.

Now your mini cards are ready, you just need to find someone to thank during this holiday season!

These could be perfect for a place card during your Thanksgiving celebration. Instead of thank you, just write the name!

I hope you like these! And speaking of Thanksgiving, what about a gratitude journal? Have you ever made one? Here’s one I did last year:

Pumpkin Spice Cards

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice everything! The arrival of pumpkin spice goodies is a sure sign that fall has arrived. The deep flavors and rich fall colors of pumpkin spiced baked goods are absolutely irresistible. Amanda here today with some pumpkin spice inspired cards and a super yummy pumpkin cake recipe.

Inspired by a way delicious pumpkin cake I made last week, I thought it would be fun to make some pumpkin spice inspired thank you cards for Fall. I dug through Pebbles’ Harvest collection for deep yellow and orange pumpkin spice colored patterned papers and embellishments.

Really great cards don’t have to be complicated. Attach a journaling card to the front of a card with a clip and you have a super easy and sophisticated card (Amy uses the same technique in this post HERE). Add some texture by adding stitching detail and a jute twine bow.

Adding fibers to a card gives a flat card warmth and dimension. Simply wind some twine around your hand and place beneath an embellishment.

You can also add texture to a card using Pebbles delicious flour sack labels.

Choosing the right adhesive can make or break a project. A little bit of double sided adhesive tape on the back of a patterned paper panel holds everything in place until you stitch the border of the card. Crafty Tip: Strategically place adhesive away from the areas where you will be stitching so you don’t gum up your sewing machine.

Raised sticky dots are perfect for adhering cardstock embellishments to cards. Add a few well placed raised sticky dots to your embellishment and place directly on top of the twine to hold the twine in place.

Adhere bows to cards with a dab of liquid adhesive. This glue also dries clear so you won’t even notice the glue blob.

Now this is what you’ve been waiting for–the pumpkin cake that inspired it all. I recommend making at least two. Yum!
