Tis The Season

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. If you live in the United States, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. But now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is getting all my attention! I like to scrapbook some of the Christmas card photos I get from family, like this one of my daughter and her great pyrenees dog who love playing in the snow. The Merry Little Christmas collection was perfect to use! I love the fun patterns and colors. For this photo, I pulled more of the snowy embellishments, not the Christmas ones. I love how versatile this collection is.

I used a digital cut file for my title Tis The Season, and backed it with a variety of pattern papers and colors. This is a great way to use up scraps of paper. I attached these mittens to my title and added a little bow. The title was then placed on a big snowflake.

I love finding adorable die cut ephemera pieces like this girl wearing a red coat. Since my daughter was also wearing a red coat, I had to use it on this layout. I matted my photo with two different green pattern papers and tore the bottom edge so I could see the white core. The white edges remind me of snowbanks. Take a look at the dimension foam tape gives too.

One of my favorite things about this collection are the tags, like this Happy Holidays tag. These tags would make amazing quick and easy cards too. For this snowy scene, I added some dimension with some stickers and foam dots. Behind the tag you can see two of the washi tapes I layered on the background. There are so many embellishment options with this collection!

If you are interested in my process video, have a look here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Document your holidays

Hello crafty friends it’s Lucile! Today I find you for a new article. One of the things I love doing the most is to document my vacation. Whether before leaving, during my trip or on my return I love to keep all my holiday memories. I love to use travelers, it’s the ideal format! This year I am going to Portugal, so I have prepared my itinerary page. I used the new block of stickers by Jen Hadfield and Pebbles , it is perfect for that. In addition, you can take it everywhere it does not take up space in the bag!

I started my page by adding a calendar of dates during which I will be in holiday. For that, I used the Journal Guide by We r memory keepers. It’s also a must when traveling, you can do a lot of things with it! I then added the dates using the stickers of the block and I added planes to note the trips by plane.

Then I noted the information of my flights of planes. For this I made boxes to separate important information and I added stickers to decorate the rest of my page.

On the second page I drew my itinerary. I added a stickers to do list that I cut to fit the size of my page. I noticed everything I did not forget to take on vacation. I finished decorating my page and adding stickers.

Finally I had fun writing a title and coloring it in the colors of my page. I hope you have enjoyed this page of travelers. I’ll see you again in a new article!

Easter Egg Fights with Marcia

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. I am sharing an Easter layout with you today created with the Pebble’s Loves Me collection as well as the Chasing Adventures collection. I love the floral patterns in the Loves Me collection. They work perfectly for Spring projects too. It’s definitely not just another Valentine’s Day collection. I wanted to use green pattern paper too though. In Spring everything becomes green again. I found just what I needed in the Chasing Adventures collection; a light green polka dot pattern as well as a darker green plaid pattern. I used the pattern papers to fill in the negative space in a gorgeous floral cut file as well as the inside of my alphas in my title.

When my extended family gathers for Easter, it’s a tradition for us to hold an Easter egg fight tournament. I created a large EASTER title to span my page. Then I used a script font to complete the title. I love combining fonts to make my titles more interesting and dramatic. I added a bird from the Loves Me ephemera pack and a few punched butterflies as well.

Backing cut files with pattern papers is a fabulous way to use up paper scraps. I added some foam tape behind the cut file to pop it up from the background paper.

What a beautiful way to use scraps, don’t you think! Have a great week.

Square Deal with Stickers

Hello Pebbles Fans, Terhi Koskinen here with some sticker inspiration!

Do you remember the beautiful Designer Sticker Books released last fall? I used the Jen Hadfield one, which is definitely my favorite with all the flowers, phrases, frames, flourishes and much more. This layout is created with only the stickers, thread and patterned papers, easy and quick to do so hope you’ll love as much as I.

Start with choosing the papers to go with. Mine’s from Heart of Home collection, matching perfectly to Jen’s stickers.

Then cut small squares using scissors or paper trimmer, which ever you prefer. The squares you see on my layout are just thin line bigger than the square stickers in the sticker book. I rarely measure anything on my pages, it’s much more fun to go with the flow.

Create the background for the page by adding the squares one by one, using Adhesive Foam Dots. Using foam, instead or glue, you’ll receive some dimension for your background but still the layout is easy to add into page protector and album.

Once you have the background ready, just add the photographs on top, and decorate the scrapbook page with stickers from the sticker book. I chose to use similar flowers and leaves as is on the background squares, and matching phrases.

This creating process was so easy and quick to do!

Hope you are inspired!

See you soon,

Terhi xx

Amy here from The Happy Scraps today. I’m so excited to share this project with you using the Winter Wonderland collection. Do you enjoy giving neighbor gifts to your friends and neighbors for Christmas? Today I’m sharing this Simple Snowball Neighbor Gift and the best part is, even if you live in a warm climate where you don’t have snow, you can still give these Snowball gifts to your friends.

Create these interactive and fun gifts for friends and neighbors using the #winterwonderland collection with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog.

I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board and used the instructions to make a 4″ box out of a 12″ x 12″ paper.

I trimmed the corners off of each side of the paper because I wanted to create a box without a top.

This is what your paper should look like before it’s folded.

Fold your paper on the score lines, then use the Sticky Thumb Double Sided Tape and place on each corner like pictured below.

The Winter Wonderland Snowfun sheet of paper has so many fun saying on cards, there are several to choose from. I thought the Snow Ball Fight card was fun for these little Snowball Neighbor Gifts.
