Quick and Easy St. Patrick’s Day Letterboard Project

When the March wind starts blowing, it seems all thoughts turn to green, rainbows, and lots of luck! I’m not really a believer in “luck” per say, but I do believe that if you work hard, good things will happen! So that’s the thought I wanted to share when I updated our letterboard for March!

I always like to add a little something extra to my monthly letterboards – so this month I opted to add a little rainbow-ish banner to keep up the March vibe! It was super quick and easy and anyone could whip it up in a matter of minutes! Here’s the quick step-by-step! Start by cutting out enough triangle banners to span your letterboard and enough rainbow hearts for each banner piece.

Add foam adhesive to the back of each heart.

Place each heart on it’s triangle banner.

Use baker’s twine (or whatever string you wish) to thread the banner together.

Add your favorite quote or sentiment to your letterboard – be sure to leave room at the top or the bottom for your banner.

Add the banner by securing the twine on the back side of the letterboard.

Now…get out there and work hard today so you can be “lucky” tomorrow!

Lucky Charm Scrapbooking Layout and Free Cut File

Hello everyone!  Heather Leopard is here to present you with my lucky charm and a free Silhouette cut file so you can create your own Lucky Charm scrapbooking layout!

Lucky Charm Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @pebblesinc #Tealightful collection

I consider my girl to be as rare as a 4 leaf clover so I thought it was appropriate to create a background full of these lucky clovers.  You can too by downloading this free Silhouette cut file HERE.

Lucky Charm Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @pebblesinc #Tealightful collection

I used two patterned papers and cut 2 different sizes of clovers, which are included in the free cut file.  Then, I placed them 4 across and 4 down. It is a 4 leaf clover afterall.  I alternated the large clover patterns.

Lucky Charm Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @pebblesinc #Tealightful collection

Once they were all placed on the page, I tacked them with a dab of glue to keep them in place.  Then I stitched a + or an x through them.  Next, I lifted up the sides of each petal and creased them in the middle.  I also alternated puffy flower stickers and gold sequins to the middle of the clovers. You can see this better in the photo below.

Lucky Charm Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @pebblesinc #Tealightful collection

I kept the layering around the photos to a minimum since the background was already so busy.  I added just enough to draw attention to the photos.

I just love the pink glitter Thickers included with this collection.  I blended them with a script “lucky” to complete the layout.

Hello Pebbles’ fans! Welcome to our blog! It’s Eva Pizarro here today sharing with you a quick St Patrick’s Day decoration for your home.

When I think about this celebration I immediately think about the rainbow, so i thought I could make a rainbow banner that I could easily use it all year in my house.

Create a Good Luck rainbow banner with this tutorial from @evapizarrov and @pebblesinc new line #Tealightful #diy #bannerpunchboard #madewithpebbles

To make the banner I used some American Crafts cardstock, some Tealightful patterned papers and my Banner Punch Board. Cut your paper 7 inch tall and make the banner with your board. It’s really easy! you can also cut two or three papers together to make it quicker.

Next, cut some carstock banner slightly larger, 7,5 inch tall.

I assemble the banners with dimensional foam and placed 3 inch wide circles with my letters on top using some masking tape. I used this trick because I wanted to be able to use the banner all year long, after this holiday simply remove the circles and voila! you have a rainbow banner that you can use in every occasion.

I also added some good luck clovers to the side of my banner.

To hang it make some small holes using your board or your Crop a Dile and use hem twine to hold all the pieces together.

That’s it! a really quick project that can really brighten these winter days.

Easy St. Patrick’s Day Gift

Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner (this Friday)! When I think of St. Patrick’s Day one of the first things I think of is 4 leaf clovers and rainbows. I wanted to create an easy St. Patrick’s Day gift that incorporated both of these things. I found THIS cut file and knew that it would work perfectly with some brand new Pebbles products.

This cute gift bag only requires a few supplies. I found an awesome rainbow plaid patterned paper, a green leaf patterned paper, and some well loved gold glitter Thickers.

After cutting the pieces for the St Patrick’s Day gift I assembled the box with strong adhesive. When I had the base of the box assembled I adhered the green four leaf clover to the front of the box using foam adhesive. Then, I added the “good luck” sentiment which will not only work for an easy St. Patrick’s Day gift but for an everyday “good luck” gift.  On the stem of the clover I added a bit of pink and white twine. I thought the bow added the perfect finishing touch!

When I added treats to the gift box, it was heavier than I expected. It’s filled with gold chocolate coins and skittles (because, you know, rainbows). To make sure that the box stayed together and the handle didn’t come off, I stapled the handle in place. This step is totally optional but may be a good choice if you’re filling the bag with lots of treats.

This easy St. Patrick’s Day gift came together within a matter of minutes. I can’t wait to share it with a friend who could use a little bit o’ luck on Friday. Happy St. Patrick’s Day my friends!

St. Patrick’s Day Cards

Hi friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a fun little set of St. Patrick’s Day cards!  Even though Pebbles doesn’t have a new collection that is “St. Patrick’s Day” themed, it was fun pulling papers from “Woodland Forest” and “Warm & Cozy” collections, plus a few older Jen Hadfield collections, to create these lucky little leprechaun cards!  I’m excited to sit these out for my kiddos on the morning of St. Patty’s Day with their table full of green treats – a fun tradition at our house.

Here’s a peek at the papers I used to create the cute leprechaun paper piecing, which, by the way, is a Silhouette cut file from Pebbles In My Pocket!

Here’s a look at the individual pieces before I assembled the cute little guy.

I started with the cute little top hat.  I layered a black band and golden buckle on top of the plaid hat.  I used foam adhesive squares to place the four leaf clover right next to the buckle.

The face is placed on top of the beard.  When I have little tiny pieces to glue on, I like to dip a paper piercer in glue, then lightly dab it onto the area where I need to place the small piece.  That’s what I did here to add the teeny tiny eyes.

And now it’s time to put our little guy together!

I chose this gold foiled polka dot paper for the background (think little gold coins, haha):

And I placed both the face and the hat right on top!  Then the entire piece is placed on a white card base.

For the inside, I printed some text onto white cardstock, trimmed it, then completed the sentiment with gold Thickers:
