Spring Flowers with Terhi

Hello Friends, it’s Terhi here with you again!
It’s April now, which means we are very close to the season of Cherry Blooms. Can’t wait for it! I love seeing all trees in blossom, both apple and cherry trees are my favorite.

The last weeks has been full of very worrying news, so keeping mind in positive things and remember the beauty of the world is important. This is why I decided on creating a scrapbook page around the spring flowers theme. To create this page I used Hey, Hello! collection designed by Jen Hadfield.

You might be focusing first on the flowers here, but as usual, the most important part of a scrapbook layout is the photograph (or some other way telling about the memories).
I really like playing with photographs!
Like while creating this layout, first I added one photo of the cherry blooms, but then wanted to add another one cut in circle shape. And I couldn’t stop there, so I added even more very small cherry bloom pics in matching bloom shape.

Layering photographs on top of each other and on top of other elements in the page gives you depth and dimension. Both depth and dimension will make the layout more live, which makes the layout much more interesting!
Small things matter.

In addition to photographs of the memory, I like adding matching embellishments or other elements to the page. Like here, I wanted to add lots and lots of flowers to support the theme of the amazing cherry trees.
The rest of the creation process is just adding smaller embellishments like stickers, and then title and journaling.

Now I have this wonderful page hanging on our wall and reminding about happier times. “I got this”, and I know “all is good”, so no need to worry too much. Hope you feel the same.

Easter Box Cards

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. With the weather getting warmer I am getting Spring fever as I am sure lots of you are too. I’m in the mood to decorate for Easter, so I thought I would make a couple Easter box cards that I could send out to a few of my favorite little people.

I used a combination of pattern papers from the new Hey, Hello collection and the Lovely Moments collection. The Hey, Hello collection even comes with an acrylic stamp set that I used for the sentiment on this card. A few sticker flowers and a ladybug really give my cards a spring feel.

Isn’t this baby chick adorable! These box cards fold flat for mailing. I love that they can be displayed on your counter or tabletop and enjoyed over and over. You can see more sticker flowers on this card as well as a butterfly.

Thanks so much for stopping by! The Hey, Hello and Lovely Moments collections work so well for Spring projects. Be sure to check them out.

Quick spring Layout

Hello everyone! Eva here, sharing a quick and easy layout inspired by spring and the lovely Hey, Hello collection!

Create a layout in minutes with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the new Hey, Hello! collection by @pebblesinc

I love spring and the magic that brings! Butterflies flying on my backyard, days getting warmer and of course flowers! Flowers remind me of my grandmother and for today’s layout, I decided to make them the subject of my layout.

This is a quick layout. It only took me 15 minutes to create!

I was inspired by this lovely print from one fo the papers of the Hey, Hello collection. The big flowers were gorgeous and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to fussy cut some of them and use them on a layout.

I cut a few flowers and added 3 strips of patterned paper at the bottom of my page. I curled a bit the edges with my fingers to create some dimension.

The flowers filled most of my page so I only added a few stickers and a die-cut as my title.

The last step was adding my journaling, I only added a line on the front and all the story on the back. I like to do that because that way I can write as much as I want without worrying if it is going to fit or not.

Aren’t those patterns gorgeous? The yellow one is one of my favorites!
This layout was super fast but the most important part was the story behind it!

Hello Friends – and Happy Spring! Well…we had a few days with sunshine and temperatures above freezing, so it feels like spring to me! I realized recently that my birthday card stash is in need of some pretty girly cards, and I am absolutely loving the spring vibe in the new “Hey, Hello” collection. You know what that means, right?

Don’t these cards just shout Spring?!? The colors are soft and airy – and seriously, the most gorgeous flower colors! And bumblebees are always a sure sign of Spring! Let me share some closer looks:

I couldn’t resist using a bit of the black dotted washi on this card – It’s just the right amount of dark color to tie everything together!

Speaking of “tying everything together,” I tied pretty white bows on all of these cards – it’s such a soft touch that adds a bit of interest and texture – not to mention femininity on these floral cards! I actually cut this diagonal stripe washi in half – I wanted thinner strips and it was easy to cut it to fit my needs!

Did you notice how the flowers and bees are popping off the card? They are actually stickers, but I used powder to remove the stickiness, then added foam adhesive squares for dimension! I love layering pop dots double and triple thick to enhance the effect! And, oh, how I wish you could see the shimmer of this gold washi tape!

I doubled up on the sentiment tags for each card as well – double wishes are TWICE as nice! Black and white floral washi is another fun way to make the other colors pop while adding a bit of interest!

Get yourself in a springy mood by whipping up some fun floral cards like these – it’s definitely a fun way to add to your stash AND brighten your own day while your at it! Happy Spring!

Spring DIY

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today, I find you for a new DIY. In my scraproom, I use a lot of wooden boxes to store the material of my current projects. I love decorating them because they stay on my desk. These are very practical decorative objects. You can use them for many uses or even for decoration. For this DIY, I uses the “Hey, Hello” collection by Pebbles.

The first step is to glue a paper that covers the bottom of the box. It allows you not to lose what you put in it and it will be our basis for decorating the box. To decorate my first box, I started by cutting card in a paper from the collection. Then I added stickers from the collection.

To add a dimension to my decoration, I used 3D foam squares to put elements in volume.

For my second box, I reproduced the same process. I only changed the colors. I really like to use the same processes when I make several DIY so that they are harmonious.

I hope you enjoyed this easy DIY for spring and gave you ideas for decorating your boxes with the “Hey, Hello” collection by Pebbles. See you soon!
