You Are My Heart Plaque

I love the foiled cards that are found in the Everyday collection. So many inspiring sentiments that make creating projects easy.

To make this Heart Plaque, I used a wood heart that I never used for Valentine’s Day project and covered it in gold foiled paper.

After I matted the heart with paper, I cut out a foiled card sentiment and adhered gold garland along the front.

Then I embellished the heart with Everyday ephemera shapes.

Favorite Phrases: 3 Quick Gifts

Hi Pebbles friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, and I’m excited to share three projects I created recently.  You see, I believe words are pretty powerful…I believe they can change an attitude, a day, even a life.  If we have an open mind and heart, the right words can make all the difference.  If you visited my home, you’d know this to be true.  I have words everywhere.  Single words, quotes, song lyrics, lots and lots of words.  And if I can make the words pretty…well, that’s a win all-around! So when I saw this assignment, it’s no wonder I couldn’t decide on one project to create and share with you.  So, in the end, I didn’t.  Instead, I came up with three very quick and very easy {and potentially very powerful} gifts – gifts of words.  Here’s the entire set, featuring the beauty and wisdom from Jen Hadfield’s “Everyday” collection:

And here’s a little bit about each one. 🙂

This frame took all of 5 minutes to create – and that included the time I took to scrounge up the frame!

Simply cut a piece of patterned paper – I chose this beautiful foiled polkadot paper – to fill the frame opening.

Then I added some foam adhesive to the back of a pre-printed diecut.

Voila – that’s it!  I am excited to share this with someone – wouldn’t it look sweet sitting on a nightstand or a shelf in a little girl’s room?

This frame took a little bit longer – but not much!  I found this collage frame in my stash and thought it would be perfect to fill with inspiring words!

The two little quotes were cut from the “Happy Thoughts” paper.

The middle square is a small piece of patterned paper with a foiled heart die-cut added with foam adhesive.

Next I cut a few miscellaneous patterned papers, a quote block, and some foiled diecuts for the main opening.

Don’t be afraid to stack up foam adhesive for extra dimension.

And the final product is so cute and ready to be shared with someone special.

And the final project isn’t an actual gift, but a quick and pretty gift bag.  I used the Gift Bag Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers to make the bag from pretty patterned paper.

Next, I added some leftover fringe tape from a pinata I made earlier – isn’t it pretty?!? It already has adhesive on the back, so I just had to fold over the bag top and add two layers of fringe.

After cutting the cute quote block from the foiled quotes page, I added a gold leaf diecut to the corner.

Then I tucked it under the flap.

I added the gold clip, embellished with a pink jewel, to the top of the bag to hold it closed.

And a quick little jute bow completes the gift bag – ready to fill with chocolate (another powerful healer, in addition to words) or a small token of some sort.

I hope you like my little gifts, inspired by the beautiful words in this gorgeous collection!

Simple Hot Cocoa Gift

Hello! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today. I can’t wait to show you how to put these cute and simple Hot Cocoa Gifts together today using the Winter Wonderland collection. I don’t know about you, but here in Utah winter has really decided to show up. We’ve had some snow and it’s been cold! That means it’s the best time for hot cocoa right? And really, what is more fun than dressing up a packet of hot cocoa to give to a friend?

Create these cute and simple Hot Cocoa Gifts with the #WinterWonderland collection from @pebblesinc and this tutorial from @thehappyscraps.

I pulled out the Winter Wonderland Snowfun paper and cut out a couple of the sayings that I thought would go well with my packets of hot cocoa. I cut them down to the size that would fit on the packet well.

I rounded the corners on the tag.

Then I punched a hole in the top of the tag so I could tie it on the hot cocoa package.

I cut a piece of Winter Wonderland Snow Day and Toasty Warm paper large enough to go around my hot cocoa packet.

I grabbed my sticky thumb two-sided adhesive tape and put some on the edge of the paper wrap.

Then I peeled the backing off the two-sided adhesive and stuck it to the other side of the paper, making it so you can slide that packet right out of the paper.

I cut smaller strips of the back of Winter Wonderland Snow Day and Shiver and wrapped them around the center of the packet as well.

I grabbed some coordinating baker’s twine and tied my tags on at the top. I think they turned out pretty cute!

These are so simple and quick to make that they would be the perfect little gift for kids to give to their friends or you could but a group of them together to give as a neighbor gift too.

I know I’d love to drink up a cup of hot cocoa, especially if the packaging looked this cute!

So head on out to the store, pick up some hot cocoa, grab your Winter Wonderland paper and make up some cute hot cocoa packets!

Hello Pebbles Fans!  Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing with you a quick gift idea made with the Pebbles Inc Cottage Living collection.

Quick Gift Idea using the @pebblesinc Cottage Living collection by @jenhadfield from @ribbonsandglue

I’m a sucker for fresh fruit, especially during the Summer months so I decided to toss some of my favorite fruits in to baggies attached with a simple Hello Cutie! tag.

@pebblesinc Polaroid Dies found in the Cottage Living collection

To make the gift tags, I used the Cottage Living Polaroid Die to cut out the word Hello from 6×6 patterned paper then adhered the die cut on to Gold Tipped Tags.

After I assembled the tag layers together, I wrote the word Cutie on the tag and embellished it with Cottage Living Jewel Stickers.
