Happy Birthday Card Set

Hi Friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a set of quick and easy birthday cards! I wanted to make a set of cards with the unique peek-a-boo strip on the right side. In other words, the front of the card is just a bit more narrow than the back – and the stripe that appears to be on the right edge of the front is actually the back, so it’s still visible when the card is open.

I used products from a few different collections, but mainly from the Happy Cake Day collection. (You’ll find some Sun & Fun and Hey Hello mixed in as well. Want to see how easy it is to make these cards? First, you’ll need a few supplies:

And in just a few quick steps, you can have a completed card (or set of cards)! Step 1 is adding the strip to the right edge.

Now cover the front of the card with a coordinating patterned paper:

Use a small circle punch to create notches in the fatter paper strip – wrap with string and tie in a bow. Add this piece to the card front.

Now place the 3×4 card on the front. Use foam adhesive square for added dimension if desired!

Next, add a puffy sticker just for a bit of whimsy!

That’s it! The card is complete!

Repeat the same process to create an entire set of fun and unique cards!

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today, sharing a quick and easy card trio using the lovely Oh Summertime line.

Create a quick and easy card trio with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using @pebblesinc new line Oh Summertime. #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

These cards are super easy! You can make all three in under 15 minutes, the secret is to work with the same products on everyone. If you look closely, you can see that all the cards have 3 elements: a paper banner, die cuts and twine. For my base I used the Oh Summertime Boxed Cards, the designs are perfect for summertime notes, inside you can find patterns but also ready to go cards in case you need a card right away.

For my first card I used this lovely floral background and paired it with the green banner. Next, I wrapper the twine on my banner and added it to my card with 3d dots. Finally, I put a die cut on top. Super easy!

My next card is made with the same method but this time I rotated my banner and I tried to use only two colors: Green and yellow.

I used a green banner and wrapped my card with the twine. I added die cuts and bend the ones under the banner to give my card a little more dimension.

The last card has a two toned banner and lovely color coordinated die cuts. On this one I didn’t include twine, I felt it wasn’t necessary!

Hi Pebbles friends! Mother’s Day is just around the corner – have you made a card yet? No? Well, I’ve got a quick and easy idea for you today! It’s Wendy Sue here today and I’d love to help inspire you to whip up a quick and easy card or two or three for a special mom or mother figure in your life!

Don’t let shaped cards intimidate you – they really are quite easy! Here’s a quick step-by-step photo tutorial to show you how I made these!

Step 1: Start by folding the card base (cardstock). Use a metal die (this is just one way to do it – you could also use a digital die-cutting machine or even trace a circle onto white cardstock and cut out with scissors) circle shape. Place the die onto the folded cardstock so the top of the die isn’t cutting the cardstock – this will leave room for the fold at the top of the card (or the side if you prefer):

Step 2: Cut a circle the same size from patterned paper:

Step 3: Tie a ribbon around the patterned paper and tie in a knot at the left side. I used a staple to secure the ribbon right in the center because I will be covering it soon.

Step 4: Tuck a printed die-cut under the ribbon on the right side of the patterned circle. Allow it to extend off the circle a bit.

Step 5: Now cut a smaller circle from a coordinating patterned paper. For this circle, choose a pattern that is less busy, or a smaller pattern scale. Use foam adhesive squares to attach it to the center of floral circle (covering the staple.

Step 6: Choose your favorite skinny thicker sticker to add the letters to spell out “MOM” on the small circle.

Step 7: Now you can choose to add a “MOM” next to the word. You could also opt to add additional flowers, stickers, or even center “MOM” and leave it alone. But I think these cute girls look like they could be fun young moms, so I’m adding them! 😉

Step 8: Attach the patterned circle to the card base! That’s it! Wasn’t it so easy?

Is anyone else shocked to see that Mother’s Day is just a few days away?  Wasn’t it JUST Christmas???? Don’t worry, I’m here with a quick and easy homemade card idea sure to please your mom! Here’s a peek!  Keep reading to see how to create your own butterfly shaped card featuring the beautiful products from the “Patio Party” collection!  (And if you’re more prepared than I am, and already have your cards for Mother’s Day, simply change the letters and use these cards for any occasion!)

Quick and Easy Butterfly Shaped Mother's Day Cards by @WendySue with the "Patio Party" collection by @PebblesInc.

Start by creating a butterfly shaped card base.  You can use a digital cut file, a metal die, or even find a simple template online and cut it out by hand!

Cut a piece of patterned paper to cover the front of the card base. Choose a coordinating paper and cut a second patterned butterfly. Cut it in half and place the top piece over the striped base:

Use one of the tear strips from a different paper to create the border strip between the two patterned papers:

Add a gold foiled die cut on top of the border strip:

Place a butterfly sticker or die cut next to the flowers.  Be sure to glue only the middle piece, so the wings are lifted off the card:
