Forever My Always Traveler’s Notebook

Hi Pebbles Friends!

Amanda here, & I hope the New 2018 Year is bringing you much joy! If you’re like me, and feeling a lil behind, overwhelmed or just needing to be more organized for the busy year ahead, then today’s post is for you!

I don’t know about you, but I certainly feel more organized and less stressed when I jot things down and make lists. Keeping a Traveler’s Notebook handy in my purse means I can stay focused, and remember all those appointments too! #igotthis

As soon as I laid eyes on our gorgeous Forever My Always collection I just knew I had to use it for my TN journaling! Let’s make the everyday ordinary things special too! Let’s make ALL the pretty things! After all, it’s a beautiful life!

Here’s what I have created to help me conquer 2018!

How CUTE is this Pebbles Traveler’s Notebook?!! If nothing else, my 2018 is going to be pretty!!!

Here’s a sneaky peak inside too…..

Adore this! Being organized never looked so good! And the best part, it only takes a few minutes to create – perfect for this modern, busy world we live in!

Here’s how to make your own TN:

  1. Start with your insert paper. I use a good quality A4 copy paper for my everyday lists. Trim to 8 3/4″wide x 8 1/4 long.
  2. Select pattern paper for cover,  (I use the sweet Love Labels for mine) and place the insert paper over it – as shown below. Ensure the cover is just the tiniest bit bigger to allow for full coverage of the inserts, and trim.

3. Score both the inserts and patterned paper cover, and fold in half. Sew, staple or hand stitch the spine to complete.

I sew mine with my machine on a larger stitch, slow speed.

Here’s a closer look at how neat the stitching is…..

Super sweet! Use this technique to create as many Notebooks as you need!

Now to decorate!

A good page marker is always helpful – create a stunning rosette clip with the Forever My Always Rosette Stickers and a paperclip. Too easy!

For my TN spread, I use the reverse side of the pattern paper barcode strip, Date Night.

Tip: These sample strips at the bottom of 12 x 12 papers make an excellent alternative to washi tape!

A page marker and some faux washi make such a difference! So simple and yet so effective!

Next, I decorate with a couple of the Cardstock 6 x 12 Icons & Accents Stickers. That pencil is just perfection for this planner / notebook! I trim pattern paper, Sprinkled Blossoms to 2″ wide x 2 1/2″long to create some full boxes. A great alternative to planner icon box stickers, and it really defines my TN layout.

I continue to define my TN spread with a few hand drawn boxes, as well as my check list to the left hand side. The typewriter sticker couldn’t be any more adorable, and embellishes my long list. I add Puffy Stickers to my half boxes, serving as bullet points. Looking good!

For finishing touches, I embellish with more cute stickers, and Die Cuts!

And there you  have it! Super quick (and really pretty!)crafting to keep you organized! I hope I have inspired you to make your own Travelers Notebook with our beautiful papers and embellishments!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Happy Arty Days, Amanda xo

DIY Planner Binder featuring Simple Life Collection

Hello everyone! It’s Eva Pizarro here today with a quick tutorial for all our planner lovers. I made an easy binder for the top of my planner to hold important loose papers. Making the folder is simple and practical!

Create a cute mini folder for your planner with this tutorial from @evapizarrov and the new #simplelife collection by @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #plannerspread #madewithpebbles

To begin, use one of your planner pages as a template; cut paper in the same height. Score your paper at the exact width of your planner. To complete the folder, you will need 4 sections of paper, preferably in one sheet. If necessary, add a piece of paper to give you the right width for the project.  I am using the new Simple Life collection, perfect for your planner with its everyday sentiments and stickers!

Bend the outer sections into the center of the page, meeting in the middle.

Next, cut the outer sections diagonally, at your desired angle preference. Glue the folded paper in at the bottom and the center of the paper.

Using your planner page as your template, punch holes on the outer edges of your binder.

To more easily open your folder, snip tiny triangles from the outer edge to the holes of your binder.

Now it is time to decorate your folder! I used one of the 4×6 cards on one of the Simple Life patterned papers.

My planner is simple, while also being functional and cute. I use a bow clip to mark my week. Additionally, I use some of the lovely wood veneer shapes to create extra clips for my planner. The rest of the planner is decorated with washi tape strips and a few die cuts.

The little word stickers are the perfect pairing for your planner — they come in 3 pages, with 117 stickers in 3 different colors, for a great selection of choices.

Simple Planner Fun

Hey everyone! It’s Monique here today sharing a planner spread I created using the beautiful “Simple Life” collection from Jen Hadfield. I’m a huge planner fan and own several different planners, although I’m not actually using all of them (I just really want to have them!). This planner I do use and I love embellishing it! Here’s what I did for this week:

Embellishing your planner with @moniqueliedtke using the new #SimpleLife collection by @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #scrapbook #layout

Jen Hadfield’s Simple Life collection is really perfect to dress up your planner with all the “everyday” expressions and the beautiful patterns and colors. Before I got started I selected some patterned papers, washi tape strips, die-cuts and stickers I thought I might use:

I started by cutting off a few of the fun strips of paper from the bottom of the patterned papers to use them for my planner, like the strips with the bicycles, the flowers and the brown one with the text. Of course I used the strips of washi tape as well, like the tape with the blue/white stripes below:

Embellishing your planner with @moniqueliedtke using the new #SimpleLife collection by @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #scrapbook #layout With my small banner punch I punched a few yellow banner pieces from the “Sweet Citrus” paper and adhered them both on the left and right pages. Next I adhered a word sticker on top. With a butterfly punch I punched a few butterflies as well, which went very well with all the flowers in this collection and with the wood veneer butterflies of course.

From the “Simple Greetings” paper I cut a few of the beautiful squares and used those on my pages as well along with many of the awesome die-cuts. Using one of Jen Hadfield’s gold dipped tags with some twine, a die-cut and one of the beautiful butterfly wood veneers I also created a bookmark:

And when I saw the “Foiled Cardstock” specialty paper in this collection I knew I wanted to use that too, so I decided to use it as a kind of divider between the two planner pages:

Quick Gift: Organization – Scrapbooking Planner

Hello everyone! Heather Leopard is here today to share one of my resolutions this year.  My goal is to get more organized as a family – from school, to the home, to work and everything in between.  I used to keep a binder with all my creative projects – due dates, sketches, ideas and inspiration but I moved to digital a few years ago.  As much as I enjoy having all of that at my fingertips , being able to access it wherever, whenever, not everyone is like that.  I thought I’d create a “scrappiness” planner for a dear friend and offer the templates for all of you.  Here is what I created.

Create this quick and easy scrapbooking planner gift by @heatherleopard with the Jen Hadfield "Warm & Cozy" collection by @PebblesInc. #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #planner #plannertemplate

I created this all from scratch and you can too!  Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Chipboard
  • Patterned Paper – up to 6 different patterns
  • Embellishments
  • Thickers
  • Binding machine and coils
  • Scrapbooking Planner Templates – download HERE

Create this quick and easy scrapbooking planner gift by @heatherleopard with the Jen Hadfield "Warm & Cozy" collection by @PebblesInc. #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #planner #plannertemplate

Start by creating your covers.  The template is created to be 4″ x 6″ so I made my covers 5 3/4″ x 7 1/2″. I used some kraft chipboard and then covered the front and back covers with patterned paper.

Next, print the templates. They are made to print 4″ x 6″ so you can print them on pre-cut paper on regular letter sized paper.  You can also resize them.

Cut tabbed dividers so that the tabs hang over the page inserts. I wanted to keep this pure black and white so I alternated the divider as such.

Using your binding machine, line up your divides and planner pages and punch your holes.  Repeat as needed.  Then punch your cover.

Lastly, bind all the pages together and decorate the cover and inside pages as desired.

Winter Projects with Monique

Hi everyone! It’s Monique again, sharing some more projects I created with Pebbles’ fabulous Winter Wonderland collection. For today I decided to create another layout and because planner pages are what I love to do too, I decided to decorate a couple of those too.

Let’s start with the layout I made. This time I wanted to do a layout using more than one photo (which is what I normally tend to do). The design is an easy one. I started with three vertical stips of paper in the middle of my page and arranged the photos on the right and left side of it.

Next I created this cluster:

I totally adore the large dimensional rosette and decided that would be the focal point of my page. I layered it onto one of the huge glitter die-cut snowflakes and tucked a Christmas tree under it as well:

And after adding a few more stickers, snowflakes and a few drops of color mist I was done!

Winter Wonderland Chips Ephemera w/Glitter Die-Cut Shapes SKU: PBWW-733028
Winter Wonderland Glitter Stickers Icons SKU: PBWW-733019
Winter Wonderland Paper Embellishments Rosettes SKU: PBWW-733025

Next up are my planner pages. Because the Winter Wonderland collection contains so much beautiful washi tape and so many fun stickers, it’s really perfect to decorate planner pages with!! Here’s a quick look at all the washi tape that one booklet holds: fantastic right?!

For my first week I used mainly lots of the cute snowmen:

Here are a few detail photos: did you see those awesome coffee cup stickers!

And isn’t that moose fabulous?! If you’re wondering what the word “Sint” stands for … on December the 5th we (in The Netherlands) celebrate “Sinterklaas” and Sint is short for Sinterklaas (like Santa is short for Santa Claus).

All the paper strips with the text I used were cut off the bottom of the sheets of patterned paper. It’s like those were made for this purpose!

And here’s my planner page for the next week, this time focusing on all those awesome penguins:

And two detail photos:

How I adore this Winter Wonderland collection!!!

These were the last projects I created as guest designer for Pebbles. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and hope you liked what I made. Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!
