It’s still toasty outside, but my autumn-loving heart is already starting to plan Halloween parties, treats, and all sorts of fun! I’ve seen similar projects in the past and I knew this was my year to create some fun Halloween Bat Treat Boxes with the new “Spooky Boo” collection. They turned out pretty cute and they were so easy to create, they’d be perfect for an entire class or a whole neighborhood – and best of all, the kids could help make them too!
Here’s how easy they are!
First, cut a pillow boxes from patterned paper.
Use a strong adhesive to secure the box edge. You can add treats now or add them later.
Cut a tag from the “Let’s Party” paper:
Use the tag as a template to cut two additional tags from coordinating papers:
Stack the tags and staple them together at the top:
Now you’ll want to cover the staple. Choose a sticker or a printed die-cut from the collection.
Use foam adhesive dots on the back of the sticker:
And place the sticker directly over the staple:
Add the stacked tags to the top of the pillow box with strong adhesive.
I chose to use the glittered wall bats from the collection to add to my boxes. You could also cut bat wings from black cardstock or patterned paper.
Use a strong adhesive to attach the box over the body of the bat:
That’s it! So easy, right??
Repeat, repeat, and repeat – create a few or a dozen or more!
Have fun making your own bat pillow boxes with the “Spooky Boo” collection!
Happy Halloween!
