Hush Little Baby

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new layout to share using the Peek A Boo You Girl collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. Our theme this week is monochromatic. I’ve always loved doing these types of layouts. I love how soft they look.

I used various shades of pink on my layout. I cut out the cut file in white to add some contrast.

The embellishments in this collection are so sweet. I just added a few so that it wouldn’t be too busy with my background.

I can’t believe this sweet girl is already 16, seems like yesterday she was this little.

Thanks for stopping by!

Five Guys Layout

Hi Pebbles friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing my layout for “guys week!” Of course, with 3 sons of my own, plus my husband, and a son-in-law, there is no shortage of guys (and photos of guys) around here! I had fun using the “Peek-A-Boo-You Boy” collection to create a non-baby boy layout!

I used my brand new ek tools 2 1/4″ circle punch to create the fun circle border on the right side of this page. It was fun choosing different pieces to focus on, then punch them out and create a little lined-up collage.

I added stickers and other pieces of ephemera to embellish the circles as well!

Of course, I had to add a few additional embellishments too – a layout just isn’t complete without some type of ribbon or twine – so I used twine on this one!

And, of course, a few faux-stitched tags tucked under the side of the photo:

And a quick and easy title with the printed die-cut and a few black letter stickers from my stash (anyone else have old American Crafts “Remarks” stickers they are hanging on to??)!

Valentine’s Day LOVE Banner

The countdown to Valentine’s Day is on – have you started decorating yet? It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a quick and easy banner I created to add a little love to our home!

Valentine's Day HEART banner by Wendy Sue Anderson for @PebblesInc.

You can make this banner too – it’s easy! Here’s how:

Start by cutting several hearts in two sizes. You can cut these by hand, with a digital machine, or even with metal dies if you have them. The smaller heart I used has scallops around the edges – but this is totally optional. You’ll also need to gather some letters to spell “LOVE” on each heart. I used a variety of stickers and die-cut words. **NOTE: I mostly used papers and stickers from the “Peek-A-Boo-You” collection for baby girls – I love the soft colors for this Valentine’s Day project!

Layer the small heart onto the larger heart. Use a sewing machine to stitch around the edges if desired (of course I love the softness a bit of stitching adds).

Next, add the stickers to the center to spell out “LOVE” (or if you prefer to mix up the phrases, like conversation hearts, that’s fun too).

At this point, you can also add additional stickers or embellishments to some of the hearts if you desire!

After the hearts are completed, you need to punch holes to string them together. I like to use my Crop-o-dile punch so I can punch several at a time.

Stack them up, and punch away!

Now hang it up…and feel the love! I hope I’ve inspired you to create something fun to decorate your home for the big LOVE day coming up!

Sweet boy

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new layout to share using the Peek a Boo You collection. I absolutely love the colors in this boy collection. And this collection is very versatile, it doesn’t need to be used with baby photos.

I cut up the paper with the 3×3 squares and used them to create a grid, along with my photos. I then stitched all of the squares. I didn’t make my grid perfectly straight. I wanted a messier look.

I then just needed to add a few embellishments to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by!

Gender reveal cake and blocks

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new project to share using the Peek-a-boo You collection. This is one of the funnest things I have ever made. First of all, this collection is absolutely gorgeous! Seriously! I couldn’t even pick if I wanted to use the boy or girl collection so I used both.

I started off by making these cute little blocks. I made them from a cut file from Lori Whitlock. They turned out so sweet! Who wouldn’t want these in their baby’s nursery??

Then I decided I needed something else to go with them. I found this awesome birthday cake cut file (again from Lori Whitlock) and made it into a baby themed cake. I also made a little banner that says boy so it could easily be changed from girl to boy!

And to make this cake even cuter, the cake layers are actually storage boxes! I love double sided paper!! I might keep this for myself I like is so much! lol
