Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new layout to share using the Oh Summertime collection and a cut file from JustNick Studio. Do any of you keep all your paper scraps? I do, you just never know when you might need them. This whole layout was done by just using my scraps and some embellishments!

I used the cut file as a guide and added the pattern paper pieces like a puzzle, gluing as I went along.

Once that was completed, I added some stitching on some of the bigger pieces.

I love the softness of these colors together. To finish it off I just added a few pieces of ephemera!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing a quick mini album using only 3 elements of the “Oh, Summertime” line.

Create a quick mini album using only 3 elements! Follow this week's tutorial by @evapizarrov featuring @pebblesinc new summer line

This was a hard challenge because I had to limit myself to only 3 elements, but I loved the final result and it was very fast and easy to scrap without having to choose between so many things!

For this mini album I chose: 1 wave patterned paper, 1 3×4 inch card paper and a package of die cuts.

I started by creating a 3×4 inch accordion mini album using the waves patterned paper. I also cut the 3×4 inch cards and added them to some of my pages. The designs are perfect for our summer vacations early this year.

I printed 3 x 4 inch and a 4 x 6-inch photos and added them to my album. Now all I needed to do was embellish! used the die cuts and some words I cut from one of the patterned papers. It was fast and easy!

For my cover, I used one of the 3 x 4-inch cards and added a strip of paper and a pineapple to close the mini-album.

The inside pages are very simple and all of them have the same recipe: one-page photo and a die-cut or 3 x 4-inch card.

The waves patterned paper is gorgeous and it was perfect to journal in white. If you like to include lots of journaling try filling a page! With this small mini-album, you cover it very quickly!

And why not try a 4×6 photo? You can embellish or journal on top of the picture for a fun and graphic effect.

Use your scraps!

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing a layout using only paper scraps!

I know you probably have a pile of scraps on your craft room that keeps getting bigger and bigger! now it is time to use your scraps and create a fun and easy layout in minutes!

To start, cut strips of paper from your scraps. You can make them any width you want, it really doesn’t matter

Next, cut a big shape or a letter from a piece of cardstock. I chose the letter “W” because I wanted to scrap about the relationship my son has with the water these days. Glue your strips of paper in any order you want. I used the colorful papers from the “Oh, Summertime” line and place them in random order.

Once your letter is finished place it over your cardstock and position your photo.

Now all you have to do is decorate your layout! I put this colorful strip of paper on the top with a die cut.

On the left of the letter I wrote my journaling and added the title “water”

Finally, I placed other paper scraps and die cuts behind my photo.

This layout was very fast and I only used scraps from other projects! I love how bright and fun are the patterns in this collection, it is perfect for all your summer photos!

Thanks for joining me and have a great day!

Eva

Canada Day Pool Party

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO to share using the Oh Summertime collection. This fun summer collection is absolutely perfect for all your summer photos.

Canada Day is coming up in a few days so I decided to create a LO using these sweet photos of my son on Canada Day when he was just in kindergarten. Cherish every moment because time goes by so very fast!

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and just backed some of the pieces with red pattern paper. I then stitched the cut file into place.

See this adorable flamingo? It has sequins that move when you shake it. I love these shaker stickers, they are so much fun!

There is so much ephemera in this collection, it was hard to just choose a few pieces for my LO!

Thanks for stopping by!

USS Missouri

Hello Pebbles friends. Marcia here today kicking off patriotic week at Pebbles. I pulled lots of red, white, and blue pattern papers from the Oh Summertime, Chasing Adventures, and Big Top Dreams collections and created a layout about a visit to the USS Missouri battleship in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Because I had little in the way of patriotic embellishments, I wanted to make the pattern papers work for me by using a digital cut file I designed myself and creating a fun banner with the Jen Hadfield Banner Punch Board.

That dark blue pattern paper makes a bold statement as my background with the die cut stars don’t you think. To add dimension, I created a festive banner with my Banner Punch Board. I machine stitched these triangles together. I made it a little easier to work with the banner.

Other embellishments were kept to a minimum. The ship in a bottle from the Chasing Adventures collection was the perfect touch, layered on top of a tag.

I used some older Thickers I had in my stash for my title and added a few journaling strips below my banner.

If you are interested in watching my scrapbook process video click on the link below.

There is a lot you can do with just your pattern papers and the right tools! Thanks so much for stopping by today.
