Hi Pebbles Friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here and today I’m going to share a quick and easy Thanksgiving decor project.  I know how busy everyone is this time of year, but it’s still important to make time to do the things you love…and if paper crafting and home decorating are things you love…I have the perfect project for you!  This framed piece can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and will add a personal and festive touch to your home during the Thanksgiving season!  Keep reading to see how easy it is!

Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Decor project by @WendySue for @PebblesInc with the "Midnight Haunting" collection

Start by cutting a circle from patterned paper (be sure it’s slightly smaller than the frame you will be using):

The next step is optional, but adds a fun touch.  Use your sewing machine to sew around the circle two or three times.  The lines don’t have to be straight, in fact, it’s better if they aren’t!

Next, cut the words “thankful” and “blessed” or any other word you’d like to use with a digital cutting machine.  If you don’t have one, use some of your favorite Thickers or other letter stickers!  I cut mine from off-white cardstock and glued them on:

Now is the time to add a foiled floral die-cut to the center. I used foam adhesive for dimension:

Next, place the entire circle on a piece of coordinating patterned paper, cut to the size of the frame:

Finally, pop it in the frame and you’re all done!

Wasn’t that easy?  I hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving AND I hope you find time to continue doing the things that bring you the most happiness and joy!

Hi friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today. Now that Halloween is all over and put away, I’m ready to start creating fun projects for Thanksgiving!!  But I’m not quite ready to put away my “Midnight Haunting” Collection – it’s a good thing there are plenty of really pretty options for Thanksgiving or Autumn in general!  I’m going to start my Thanksgiving prep with some fun little treat packets for some of my sweet neighbors.  Every mom needs a little treat (full of sugary goodness) when she’s knee-deep in Holiday prep, so I’m sending some goodies their way!

Aren’t they cute?  You’d never guess they had their beginnings in a Halloween collection, would you?!?  Here’s how easy these packets are to whip up:

Start by cutting a 9″ x 6″ rectangle from patterned paper.  Add scallops to the top and bottom edges with a punch or decorative scissors if you wish:

Use red sticky tape to secure the two outside edges together to form a tube:

Next, press the bottom edges together:

Use a sewing machine to secure the bottom edges together.  If you cut scallops, be sure to line them up!

This is how it looks after the bottom is sewn closed.  Place the treats inside now!

Next, cut a label shape from a coordinating paper:

And fold it in half:

Use a staple to secure the label across the top of the filled packet:

Add a sticker or a die-cut to cover the staple:

Finally, wrap the packet with twine and tie in a bow!

That’s it! Complete!

Hi Pebbles buddies!  It’s Wendy Sue here again, sharing some fun Halloween cards with you!  I just can’t get enough of this year’s amazing Halloween collection, so I’m trying to use up every last bit of it.  I thought I’d put together some pretty Halloween cards for some neighbors.  These cards are quick and easy to whip up in only six steps!  Take a peek, then keep reading to see how easy they are!Six Step Halloween Cards by @WendySue for @PebblesInc. with the "Midnight Haunting" collection

Start with a few simple rectangles.  One for the base, one slightly smaller, then two more that are approximately 3″ x 4″ in size.

Create a quick gift for book lovers

Hello Pebbles fans, it’s Monique here today sharing a “quick gift” project using the Midnight Haunting collection. If someone asks me what kind of gift I would like to receive most, I’ll always say a book as I’m a huge book lover! Every free minute I have is either spent scrapping or reading. So it goes without saying that one of my favorite gifts to create is a bookmark! For lovers of thrillers, detectives or mysteries I created this set of three scary bookmarks:

Quick Gift for book lovers by @moniqueliedtke with the #Midnight_Haunting_collection by @PebblesInc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #bookmark

It’s so fun to use the Midnight Haunting collection with it’s many (puffy) stickers and die-cuts of owls, ghosts and bats to create scary & spooky bookmarks. Bookmarks can’t be too bulky otherwise they damage your book, but in this collection there are so many embellishments that are just perfect for creating (flat) bookmarks!

Quick Gift for book lovers by @moniqueliedtke with the #Midnight_Haunting_collection by @PebblesInc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #bookmark

I started the bookmarks by cutting 3 strips of black cardstock (3″x 8″) and choosing some patterned papers I wanted to use. If you want to create really quick gifts you don’t have to stitch the sides of the patterned papers, but I just have to add sewing to my projects otherwise they don’t feel complete. If you do decide to use your sewing machine make sure you do this before glueing the patterned papers to the cardstock background.

Next I added the embellishments, stitched a bit more and glued the papers to the black cardstock and added a few ribbons.

And here are the bookmarks one by one. I just love the gold accents in this collection, like the gold bat in the photo below, the gold foil vellum in the second photo and the gold Thickers in the third photo:

My daughter, who’s also a huge book lover, already claimed one of the bookmarks and to be honest I would really like to keep one too, but that would mean that I would have only one left to give away …. I suppose I’d better start making more of them as they are really quick to create and I’ve got so many book loving friends!
