My december daily

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today I present you my december daily for this year! It’s been 3 years since I embarked on the adventure of the december daily. Last year, I used a travelers but this year I wanted to create it myself.

I did it the size of a standard photo to insert photos. It also helps to not have too much work every day by filling it. I used exclusively the collection “Merry Little Christmas”. For the cover, I used a red paper, traditional Christmas color.

To keep my album closed, I added a paper lanyard. I made all my decoration directly on this strip of paper. I used die cuts from the collection and the Puffy Thickers. I also used 3D foams to add volume.

The most complicated part of this december daily is the binding. I used a binding that is used to connect the big notebooks. Simply sew all the paper sheets individually and assemble them with a thread. To add a decorative side, I also perforated my cover but it can hold without this step. It’s estetic.

To finish the decoration of the slice of my album, I created a white pompom and I added a die cuts. It’s simple but I think it adds a unique and original side to the album.

Inside the album, we find different papers of the collection. I can’t wait to start it! And you, have you a december daily?
I hope that my album will give you ideas to create yours, see you soon!

Hello friends, it’s Lucile! Today I find you for a new layout! I wanted to scrap a Christmas photo from last year with my mom. What’s better than Pebbles’ Merry Little Christmas collection for our Christmas creations?

First, I cut out a lot of labels that I pasted on a patterned paper from the collection. Then I sewed all along the left side with white thread. I stuck my paper on the left side of my white checkered paper.

I decided to print my photo in black and white because my page was already very colorful. I stuck it in the center of my page. Then I added “Best holiday season ever” with the phrases from the collection. I also added a Santa Claus. Above my picture, I added some die cuts from the collection.

To add volume to my page, I pasted some elements with 3D foams.

Finally, I added a tag at the top left of my page to make a reminder with the tags.

I hope you enjoyed this layout, I’ll see you soon for a new Christmas creation! See you soon.

Birthday mini album

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today I find you for a new mini album. Last week it was my cousin’s birthday, I wanted to make him an album with some pictures to offer him as a souvenir.
I made a very simple album but I love it. It’s an album that opens with an accordion effect.
To make the structure, I used a sheet of white paper. I drew three strips that I cut in the center. Then I folded my strips to create squares and folded them by alternating the folding direction.

To make the album, I used the Happy Cake Day collection. It’s perfect for birthdays! I cut squares to cover my mini album. I also created pages that unfold to add more photos.

I also had fun creating pockets to be able to slip in small words. I used a circular hole punch to cut half circles to create my pockets.

This album is very dynamic with the folding system, the pages that open and the pockets. You can add as many additional pages as you like.

Finally, I created the cover of my album. I pasted a strip of paper to hide the strips of paper. Then I decorated it with die cuts and words.

I hope this mini will please you and give you ideas for a new creation. See you soon !

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile ! Today I find you to make a new mini album. I wanted to create an album with envelopes to put the photos of me baby and the new collection of Pebbles is perfect for that!
I began by making the structure of the album with cardboard and then covered it with papers from the collection. I added some die cuts to decorate the cover.
For the slice of the album, I made a false binding in sewing. I decorated it by adding wooden beads.

Then I made envelopes with the 1 2 3 punch board of We re memory keepers. I stuck them in my album by making an accordion binding.

I ended up decorating them with die cuts and stickers from the collection. I added 3D foams to add volume.

I hope you like this album and will give you ideas for your next creations. See you soon !

Surprise boxes for party!

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today I find you for a new article! Who has never needed to create little boxes to slip gifts? Today I show you how to make your own surprise boxes.

To make my boxes, I use the 1 2 3 punch board of We R Memory Keepers. It’s a great tool that lets you do things like boxes. You can choose the shape and size of your boxes thanks to the size guide.

To create my boxes I used Jen Hadfield’s new collection : This Is Family. I chose three assorted papers to create a harmonious whole.

The first box is the smallest, I wanted to create a scene as if the scene was happening in a lounge. I add stickers with 3D mousses. I ended up adding foliage details. We find them on the three boxes, I really like to add a similar element when there are several boxes.

For the second box, I wanted a more childlike atmosphere. I love the little bears that have found in the collection. To add a festive side, I added a hat to the bear using a 3D foam square.

For my last box, I chose a height format. The decor is more refined than the first two, I added dies cuts and a quote.
I hope that these three idea of boxes for the holidays will have pleased you, I will find you soon in a new creation.
