Valentine’s Layout ft. Loves Me

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today and I am thrilled to be back for another year on this wonderful design team! Today I am sharing a Valentine’s layout using Pebbles lovely line “Loves Me”

This line has gorgeous patterned papers and I used a die cut file to showcase a few of them. I love to use my 6×6 paper pad for small projects like this because the patterns are to scale and also because I don’t like to leave an entire 12×12 paper with just a small piece cut off!

I started with this beautiful cut file from Paige Evans, the little hearts were perfect for this Valentine’s layout!

Next, I backed all the hearts with patterned paper. Make sure you place your photo first (I used some washi tape) so that you don’t work unnecessarily!

Once you have your heart ready, pick up some die cuts and letters to embellish your layout.

The glittered Thickers are beautiful and they have the perfect size for all kind of projects!

Because the background is already very busy you don’t need to add a lot of embellishments. I glued some flowers behind my picture and some banners.

And here’s the final layout! You spend some time backing the die cut but the result is truly worth it! What do you think? Do you use die cuts on your layouts?

Have a great day!
Eva

Hello friends! It feels like I just put my Christmas decorations away and it’s already time to start putting together fun Valentine’s Day gifts. My favorite way to personalize a store-bought gift (ie candy) is to make a cute little tag – so that’s why I decided to whip up a set of quick and easy Valentine tags! Here’s how they turned out, but keep scrolling down to see just how easy they are to create with the “Loves Me” 6×6 paper pad!

Here’s a look at the supplies I used:

I started by choosing a few fun patterns from the 6×6 Paper Pad. Using a metal die, I cut several tags from each paper. You could also use a digital cut file OR even cut them by hand!

Next, I used a rectangular metal die (I like this one with faux stitching marks) to cut out the mini cards from this paper:

And in the spirit of prepping everything before I actually started, I used an old heart punch from my tool stash to cut some hearts from this cut heart patterned paper:

Here’s how quick and easy they were to assemble after all the pieces were cut out! I layered one of the mini cards on top of the tag.

Next, I cut the bottom off of one of the coordinating tags and attached it to the bottom, overlapping the card.

I cut a strip from yet another pre-cut tag, making sure the pattern was different, and placed it at the top of the bottom piece.

I used a pop-dot to attach one of the hearts:

And then I pulled some ribbon from my stash to tie through the hole:

It’s so easy to whip up a bunch of these cute little tags in a hurry – and it’s also a fun project the kids can help with! Simply write to/from or a sentiment on the back and you’re good to go!

It really is a quick and easy way to add a touch of handmade love to any Valentine’s Day treat!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!!

Valentine’s Wiper Card

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing with you a tutorial on how to create a quick and easy Wiper card with the new Loves Me collection.

Create an easy Valentine's Wiper Card with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using @pebblesinc new line Loves Me #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles

If you want to create a simple but stunning card this is the one for you! It’s very easy and you can make them in bulk and surprise your loved ones! Plus, the collection designs are super cute so you don’t need to add much embellishments to this cards.

To create the card, start by cutting 2 – 5-inch x 3 1/4 inch pieces of cardstock. Score the cards on the long side at 1 and 1 3/4 inch.

Cut a 3/4 inch piece of cardstock or acetate and bend the tip at a 45 degree angle. (here I am using a piece of cardstock but on the final card I used acetate)

To assemble the card you will need to glue the little piece of cardstock to the 3/4 inch panel on the top of your card.

Put some adhesive on the 1 inch panel of each cardstock and then glue the two card bases making sure one fold is on the right side and one on the left side

To create the front of the card I simply cut this 12 x 12 paper. It’s perfect because it has 9 lovely 3×3 squares!

To embellish the card I put a die cut on my little piece of acetate and a piece of washi tape on the hidden pannel.

This is what the card looks like when it is closed. If you don’t want any piece of embellishment to pop simply attached it to the edge of the acetate! I couldn’t do it because my die cut was too long! I don’t mind, I think it is a way of telling the recipient that there is something hidden.

You can even leave the card on your desk because it stands of its own! How cute are those foxes? This collection is one of my favorites so far!

Valentine’s Day Card gone Wild with Terhi

Hello there Pebbles Fans, it’s Terhi Koskinen here today with some very very lovely and sweet ideas for the upcoming Valentine’s Day!

This is a card. Or a mini book. Or a book. I don’t know. But no matter what it is, it is load with cute things and it will be sent to my best friend on 14th of February to make her day a bit happier.
Before starting to do anything, I had a vision in my mind to create a mini book full of love and memories from the happiest times with my loved one, but once I flipped through the ‘Loves Me’ patterned papers I knew I had to do a card – or something card-like to be send away.

I started the process by cutting out the tags from one of the patterned papers, and to add one tag with foil effect I also used the 6″x6″ paper pad.

The tags are sized 2″x3″, and to cover the back side partly of each I cut 1 1/4″x2″ sized pieces from another patterned paper. To make the result smooth and balanced, I only used one pattern to the back sides.

Then I continued the cutting fun by cutting out several blooms and flowers from one of the papers to be the embellishments.

As soon as I had all the tags ready, all blooms cut out and my foam dots on the table, I started to adhere the blooms onto the tags. In addition, few of tags got a phrase or two to complete the look.

The phrases and words are all cut out from patterned papers too. And as this card is mini book-like already, I wanted to braid some embroidery threads and decorate it with some charms and tassels – now the look of this card/book/whatever will be perfect!
To finish the process I took one metal ring and hang all the tags to it. The braid is on top of everything, hanging wild like the koalas.

Inspired? I hope you are! I never knew I’d love Valentine’s Day crafts this much!

Who could resist those cute koalas!?

Hope you’ll have a great day, full of love and sweet things!

Terhi xx
