Spring Scrapbook Layout

Today we’re happy to welcome Designer Emily Spahn, who’s sharing a fun spring scrapbook layout…Take a look!

Spring

One of our favorite family activities is going for hikes together.  Last year, as soon as the weather was warm enough, we bundled up and headed to one of our favorite hiking spots to go for a walk.  It was still pretty chilly, but we enjoyed being outdoors and seeing all the flowers and plants starting to grow.

Spring scrapbook layout created by @justem using the @PebblesInc Garden Party line #scrapbooking #springI think my number one favorite item in the whole Garden Party collection is the “Hello Spring” set of stickers.  I knew I wanted to use them on this layout!  I love how fun and whimsical the Garden Party line is. It was perfect to use on this layout of our first spring hike.

Another favorite in this collection is the new mixed pack of cardstock die cut shapes.  The  fun photo frames did not fit my photos exactly, but I just embraced it and placed them imperfectly over my photos.

Christmas CD Gift Idea

We’ve been listening to Christmas music non-stop since Monday – it’s such an important part of setting the tone each holiday season. That’s why we love Wendy Sue Anderson’s great Christmas CD holiday gift idea!

Handmade Holiday Gifts

The most peaceful thing I can imagine during the holiday season is sitting by a crackling fire, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and listening to my favorite Christmas songs.  This year I am giving the gift of “my perfect evening” to my neighbors!

Holiday Neighbor Gift

After creating a collection of our family’s favorite Christmas songs, I burned several copies for our neighbors and friends. I wanted to embellish the actual CD so I used my Xyron 510 to add a good strong adhesive to adhere the circle of patterned paper directly to the front of the CD.

I added some stickers for the title, year, and a bit of embellishing as well.

I cut the CD folder using my Silhouette Cameo and embellished it with patterned papers, chipboard, and stickers.

I used a white paint pen to write on the black chalkboard tag to personalize each CD.

The Xyron “create a sticker” tool is perfect for adding adhesive to small chipboard stickers like the tree I used to embellish the cover.

I hope you this project inspires you to share a bit of yourself with your friends and neighbors this holiday season!

I am totally in love with the Project Life concept. I only started this year but I love how it celebrates the “everyday” of my family.

Most of my photos are taken on my iphone as I always have it in my bag to quickly whip it out and snap a photo  when the moment arises.
