It’s always gratifying to buy an all-in-one kit. You can get everything done without any extra hassle, and you don’t have to go search for add-ons or other supplies. Well, you may not have realized this, but the Birthday Wishes collection can be just that – an all-in-one kit for an entire birthday party! Kim Kesti whipped up all the goodies and trinkets you need for the perfect party. Read on to check it out!

Hello, friends! I am very excited to share a birthday ensemble I created with, of course, the new Pebbles Birthday Wishes collection. It was a happy day when I saw the first peeks of this new line. We are big fans of birthday parties around here, so this collection will get tons of use.

We've got you covered on everything birthday with this start-to-finish ensemble by @kimkesti using #PebblesInc collection #BirthdayWishes.

I went a little nuts with this ensemble, but I couldn’t resist all the cute elements. The party banner was simple to create; just staple your chipboard balloons on a piece of baker’s twine. This banner would be the perfect size for a cake, too!

The invitation could not be easier. I used one of the cards from the Cardmaking Pad (you can create multiples really quickly with this pad), and layered it with a Rosette and a few pieces from the chipboard shapes pack.

I think these glasses are my favorite! I decorated them with a strip of patterned paper, then tied on a cute tag with more baker’s twine. I can’t wait to fill these with lemonade!

And, no party is complete without a few favors for the guest to take home. I adore the confetti printed bags! They don’t need a whole lot of decoration, so I settled for a striped belly band and a stamped “thanks”. (Love the Thanks stamp – it stamps beautifully!)

I hope you have enjoyed my little party items. Our next party is for a dear friend’s 18th birthday! I think the kids will enjoy this set along with ice cream and sprinkles!

Check out these festive and patriotic treat bags by Kim Kesti. They are absolutely perfect  for all your Fourth of July goodies!

Red White Blue

We have a fun summer tradition centered on the 4th of July. Not only is it our nation’s birthday, it is also my Mom’s special day. Yes, as a child she thought all those wonderful fireworks were in honor of her birthday! Nowadays, the grandkids help Grandma celebrate by gathering together, often at my parent’s cabin in the woods. The highlight of the weekend is a treasure hunt. This year, I created these fun treat bags as prizes for the winners.

They were super easy to make, the Americana Printed Bags come in a pack of 24, so you will have plenty to go around. I filled the bags, clipped them shut with clothespins then added a cute layered label. Don’t you just love the pinwheels? So cute!

Easy Flower Garland

Today Kim Kesti is sharing a great spring project – an easy flower garland!

Flowers

Since May brings flowers and new growth into our lives, I thought I would share a super simple garland project that you can make in less than 15 minutes! It’s just the thing to brighten up a wall, headboard or window in your home.

Flower garland created using @PebblesInc #GardenParty by @kimkesti #spring #garland #partyI said “super simple” and I mean it. You only need two things:

A package of Garden Party Die Cut Cardstock Shapes  and a sewing machine.

The Garden Party die cuts are amazing! There are over 100 pieces in the package, more than enough to make a garland and still have some left over. I love that there are flowers AND leaves in the package.

Flower Garland Sew_KestiTo create the garland, simply feed your die cuts under the presser foot of your machine (set on a straight stitch) one at a time. I layered a few of the smaller flowers with leaves to give them a bit more bulk. Otherwise, no additional materials are needed. The nice weight of the paper gives the garland lots of stability.

Flower garland created using @PebblesInc #GardenParty by @kimkesti #spring #garland #partyI punched a tiny hole and added a bit of baker’s twine to each end of the garland, but I didn’t even really need to since I hung up my garland with pins. It may get moved to over the window, so the twine will come in handy.

Try this quick, inexpensive way to add a bit of spring into your home! It was so fun to create!

Looking for a quick and easy way to decorate your Easter table? Try making a simple flag banner to string across your favorite dessert.

I used two wooden skewers and tied baker’s twine to create my “clothesline”. You can then add any sort of banner; just clip them on with the Garden Party Mini Clothespins. Try trimming circles, triangles or rectangles (like I did), then just add your favorite embellishments.

Happy Place Scrapbook Layout

We’re loving the clean, simple grid style showcased in Designer Kim Kesti’s “Happy Place” scrapbook layout.

Hang Tags and Frames

Using frames and tags from any of the Pebbles collections are perfect for grid style scrapbooking. Whether you use pocket pages or a traditional 12 X 12 format like I did, lining up a fun combination of hang tags and frames is a great technique for quick and easy pages.

I love the tiny black and white chevron pattern, so I purposely used three of the elements (a clothespin, washi tape and a pocket embellishment) to create a visual triangle. This gives my page a lot of interest, along with great balance.

Supplies:
Garden Party Cardstock Die Cuts (732541)
Garden Party Pockets with Inserts (732537)
Garden Party Mini Clothespins (732533)
Garden Party Journaling and Phrase Cards (732542)
