Holly Jolly Christmas Layout with Amanda!

Hi Pebbles Friends & Fans!

Amanda here, and today I am sharing a really simple process video with our super cute Cozy & Bright collection! I just love this adorable collection – it’s so playful & fun! Perfect for documenting all the holly jolly Christmas moments!

But enough chatter, here’s what my finished project looks like…..

“Holly Jolly”

Oh isn’t this the sweetest?!! Nothing’s more precious than a puppy for Christmas!!! Holly jolly, indeed!

I’ve featured one inch strips of the bright stripes pattern paper, MERRY & BRIGHT to act as an anchor at both the top and base of my 12 inch white cardstock page.  I’ve also drawn on the less traditional Christmas colors in this collection, and used the light blue and pink for a more whimsical look!

Here’s a closer look for you…..

This is oh so pretty! Lots of beautiful embellishments to adorn and support my sweet photo!

I fussy cut those  blue & pink tags from pattern paper GIVE JOY, and use them to layer my photo with. The use of tags is a great alternative to blocks of pattern paper, and adds a more playful and fresh look!

Just look at the soft glitter on the 6 x 12 ACCENT STICKERS – those red baubles are just divine!

Loving those DECORATIVE BRADS too!

Want to see more, including how this layout came together? Please watch my short process video HERE.

Thanks so much for subscribing to my channel too!

I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to get creating with Cozy & Bright for the Holidays!

Merry Christmas, & Happy Arty Days,

Amanda xo

Let it Snow | DIY Snowflakes

Heather Leopard is here and I hope you’re staying nice and warm wherever you are!  My family and I just made it back from a winter ski break. It snowed quit a bit while we were skiing and my youngest daughter kept singing “Let it snow”. My girls wanted to bring snow home with us but since it will melt here in Texas, I decided to make a bit of snowflake decor with the song we heard sang on repeat.

This project is really fun and easy to create with just a few supplies.  I keep this white frame up in my house year-round and just switch it up throughout the seasons.  It’s versatile enough to match almost any decor so it’s my go-to when creating something fun for the house.

To create this you’ll need the following supplies:

  • white cardstock
  • background patterned paper
  • snowflakes punch or cut file – you can download the one I created HERE
  • garland and faux pom poms – also included in the cut file above
  • alphabet letters
  • glue dots
  • liquid adhesive
  • paper trimmer

Once you’ve punched or cut everything out. you literally just have to assemble everything. Easy peasy!

I knew this would have to be multi-dimensional since the alphabet wouldn’t fit behind the frame. At first, I was going to adhere the garland and the snowflakes to the background paper and place all of that behind the glass but it really flattened everything out a bit too much so the only thing I have behind the glass is the patterned paper. Once the paper was in position I added the garland and snowflakes, moving them around to ensure I had enough space for the sentiment. Once I liked how everything was positioned, I adhered them to the glass using glue dots. The circle “pom-poms” were adhered with liquid adhesive.

Next, it was time to add the alphabet Thickers to fill in the empty spaces!

So there you have it, a reminder of our day on the slopes with my youngest singing at the top of her lungs and a nice reminder that Winter is upon us as we are snuggled warm inside the house.

Paper Strip Snowflake Layout

Hello Pebbles’ fans! It’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today showing you how to create this big snowflake layout with scraps of paper. I love to use my pile of scraps, I save every strip of paper because I think I can use it in my next project. This time I decided to use strips of 6×6 paper to create a statement snowflake for my project.

Create a gorgeous snowflake layout with this tutorial from @evapizarrov and the #HollyJolly line from @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #scrapbook #layout

Create the background with mists. I used pink, teal and gray.

Cut strips of paper from your 6×6 inch paper pad. I used 4 designs and cut my strips 1,25 inch x 0,6 inch. Create your design by attaching diagonal strips to the back of your paper.

I trimmed a bit the smallest pieces of paper, all the other strips are cut the same size, just attach some in the edges of the paper and some in the center.

Run your page through your sewing machine. I sewed the edges and the snowflake.

Mat your photo with different patterned papers to give a little more dimension. Layer some big white snowflakes underneath the picture

Embellish the layout with a few snowflakes and stickers.

I attached my matted photo with foam dots to make it pop. The glittered Thickers matched perfectly with the colors I chose for the layout.

The stitches help the snowflake come together as one piece and not just tiny strips of paper.

I love how this layout turned out! It’s the middle of the summer here in Chile and my son keeps asking me to wear his rain boots everywhere he goes! This was a great way to record that little story.

Do you have a pile of scraps that never ends? Maybe you would like to see this project I made with little scraps of paper.

Have a wonderful week!

Easy DIY Cookie Box

Hey Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. If you have a few die cuts and a few patterned papers from the Holly Jolly collection you can have easy DIY cookie boxes made in just a few minutes.

becki-adams_christmas-cookie-boxes_dec-23_1

I started by gathering a few of my favorite patterned papers from the Holly Jolly collection. I grabbed two of each patterned paper for each box and one additional patterned paper for all the lids of the boxes.

becki-adams_christmas-cookie-boxes_5

I ran each of the patterned papers through my electronic die cutting machine to cut all the pieces for the cookie boxes. It only took a few minutes to cut all the pieces. Assembling the boxes was really easy and once again, only took a few minutes. It took longer to bake the cookies than to make the boxes.

Make sure you use a strong adhesive when assembling the boxes. You want to make sure that the boxes stay together when they get filled with cookies.

On the lid of each box I tied a bow with two strands of coordinating ribbon. I used two strands of ribbon to make the bow a little fuller to accommodate a large box of cookies.

Each box holds approximately 12 cookies (depending on the size of cookies). I just LOVE how these turned out!

I can’t wait to share them with our friends and neighbors on Christmas Eve. Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to create your own easy DIY cookie box. It’s a great last minute gift! Merry Christmas friends!!

Quick and Easy Christmas Gift

The clock is ticking, but there’s still time to create this Quick and Easy Christmas Gift for friends, neighbors, teachers, or so many of the other special people in your life!  Hi friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today, and I’m excited to share this project because I love sharing hot chocolate during the freezing cold month of December, and when I can dress it up, like I did here with the “Holly Jolly” collection, it makes it even more fun and special. With a few quick-to-assemble die-cut boxes and a few fun ingredients, you can build these boxes and fill them full of yumminess in no time at all! Create this quick and easy Christmas gift by @wendysue with the "Holly Jolly" collection by @PebblesInc.

Here’s how easy it is to make these gifts:

First, cut the boxes with an electronic die-cutting machine.

Assemble the box according to the directions.

Add a strip of patterned paper to the front of the box.  I used a tear strip from a coordinating paper:

Next, assemble a tag to clip to the handle:

Now the box is complete!

Repeat the process for the number of boxes you’d like to create.

Now, assemble the ingredients to go inside the box.  Start by filling cute little jars with a little booster for the cocoa:

Hot chocolate packets – choose a variety!  Plus, that means a variety of left-overs for you to drink later:

And, of course, wooden spoons.  Because everything is cuter with a wooden spoon:

Use a coordinating ribbon to tie the spoons to the jars.  I just pulled random ribbons from my stash and I love how they are each unique.

And fill the boxes so you can start delivering!!
