Hello Pebbles fans! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, and I’m excited to be sharing this simple DIY Recipe Card Holder with you today. The Harvest line is great for Fall, but it’s also perfect for anything in your kitchen.
I collected a few supplies out of the line that I thought might be fun to use for this project. I didn’t use all that are pictured below, but I did use some.
I started out by painting my wood block. I painted it a light ivory color, so it would match the off white color in the Harvest collection. Once the paint was dry, I applied the Harvest Alpha Thickers to spell the word yummy.
Next I cut a piece of the Apple Crisp paper to fit my magnet board. I used spray adhesive to adhere it to the metal.
I picked out a few of the Harvest Chips Die Cut Shapes that I wanted to use to make some magnets for the magnet board. I used the Harvest Wood Mounted Stamps, and grabbed the silverware stamp to stamp on the cutting board die cut, and then I used Sticky Thumb sticky dots to adhere the magnets to the back of the die cut shapes. Aren’t these die cuts the cutest?!
I cut out one of the cards from the Harvest Recipe Cards paper and wrote out one of my very favorite recipes, it’s dinner rolls out of my great grandmas cookbook. Then I put it on the magnet board, holding it on with the cute magnets.
I can’t wait to cook and have my recipes displayed on this cute recipe card holder. What recipe would you make first using this fun recipe card holder?
