Hello everyone, it’s Eva on the blog today sharing a quick tutorial on how to create a cute desk mini calendar using the Happy Cake Day.

Create a cute mini calendar for next year with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the #HappyCakeDay line from @pebblesinc

Next year is just around the corner and now it is the perfect time to create a cute calendar to decorate your desk or to give as a handmade gift.

The Happy Day Cake is a gorgeous line with a colorful palette, the sentiments are perfect for a calendar and to highlight the special dates during the year.

To create this calendar cut papers from the 6 x 8 paper pad.

My pages are 3.25 x 5 inch wide and fit a small calendar and a 2,5 inch square photo.

Use Thickers to create the month titles, three banners are the perfect length!

The last step is to decorate the months with some stickers and ephemera from the Happy Cake Day Collection.

To bind everything together use your Crop a Dile a make a small 1/8 inch hole in the middle of each page.

The only page that it is a bit different is the cover. I used a cute rainbow die cut and some Thickers to create my tile. The gold stars at the end were the perfect touch!

I love how quick and easy this project was! The Happy day Cake color palette was perfect for my photos and the calendar will look gorgeous on my desk.

Birthday mini album

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today I find you for a new mini album. Last week it was my cousin’s birthday, I wanted to make him an album with some pictures to offer him as a souvenir.
I made a very simple album but I love it. It’s an album that opens with an accordion effect.
To make the structure, I used a sheet of white paper. I drew three strips that I cut in the center. Then I folded my strips to create squares and folded them by alternating the folding direction.

To make the album, I used the Happy Cake Day collection. It’s perfect for birthdays! I cut squares to cover my mini album. I also created pages that unfold to add more photos.

I also had fun creating pockets to be able to slip in small words. I used a circular hole punch to cut half circles to create my pockets.

This album is very dynamic with the folding system, the pages that open and the pockets. You can add as many additional pages as you like.

Finally, I created the cover of my album. I pasted a strip of paper to hide the strips of paper. Then I decorated it with die cuts and words.

I hope this mini will please you and give you ideas for a new creation. See you soon !

Happy Cake Day Party Favors

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today with my first post using the fun Happy Cake Day collection. I love making party favors. They can really help to create a festive vibe at your party. Instead of making just a couple cake boxes, I made an entire cake! Best of all, they can be displayed on a cake plate just like a real cake.

I made a combination of chocolate and strawberry cake boxes using several different pattern papers for my frosting. Some pretty rosette ribbon looks just like piped frosting along the edge of my cake.

You can decorate the boxes with stickers or die cut ephemera pieces like I did here.

The tops of the cake boxes come off to reveal a nice sized space for treats.

Each cake box also has it’s own candle. A little bit of yellow stickles gives them a warm glow.

Wouldn’t you love to receive one of these cake box party favors when you attend your next birthday party! You can find the cut file at SVGcuts, It’s called B is For Birthday.  Be sure to check out the Happy Cake Day collection for your families birthdays.

Supplies:

Happy Cake Day with Terhi

Hello everyone! It’s Terhi here with a scrapbook layout made with Happy Cake Day collection! I can’t describe how much I adore the bright and crisp colors this line has. As well as all the balloons, cupcakes, candles and so much more! All so fun and pretty! Instead of picking one or two colors to work with, I added them all to this one layout and it was so fun to do!

Happy Cake Day can be used to all kind of celebrations and everything around parties. For cards, invitations, party decor and of course memory keeping. My younger daughter turned nine just couple weeks ago, and scrapbooking her balloon photos was a true joy with this lovely line!

To make interesting and very large title, I used my electronic cutting machine and cut out a phrase matching perfectly to the birthday theme. The cut file is from Paige Evans, here’s a link to her Facebook group called Happy Scrappy Place from where you can download some cut files for free.

All the letters are backed with different patterned papers. All the Happy Cake Day patterned papers are so pretty! There’s one more patterned paper behind the whole phrase, and only couple carefully chose embellishments next to the photos. I’ve noticed that if you have a title as big as the background, it’s better to keep other elements small.

The Happy Cake Day Puffy Phrase Thickers are great to give your creative project some extra texture. I added couple words to my layout, and continued with other puffy stickers to finish the look.
Hope you are inspired by this!

Hi friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing my favorite tip for making a big set of birthday cards – hint: assembly line!!

quick and easy birthday card set by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Happy Cake Day" collection by @PebblesInc.

Watch how easy it is to create a half dozen cards in a jiffy!

Start by cutting the background. These papers are 4″ wide and 5 1/4″ tall.

The next layer is this fun text paper, cut at 4″ wide and
3 3/4″ tall. I centered each piece (eyeballing the center – no measurements here)!

Next, I cut a few different tear strips to 4″ wide and placed them on the top and bottom of each blue piece.

Now cut red patterned papers to 2 1/2″ x 4″ and white birthday text paper to 1 1/2″ x 4″. Add one of each to every card, tilting slightly in opposite directions.

Now we’re going to put one of my favorite, and most versatile papers, to work! Cut apart the tags from this fun paper!

Punch out the holes and tie baker’s twine through each one. Add a puffy sticker or two for interest and dimension!

Now the card tops are complete and the final step is to place each one onto a white cardstock card base! The final cards measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

I made a set of 6 cards, but you could easily make an entire dozen almost as quickly! Here’s a closer look at each of the six cards:

It’s easy to put together an entire set of cards, and having a fun collection like this one makes it extra fun!
