All expecting and new mothers have one need in common (if not more): love. Show these moms-to-be just how much you care with a darling new mother gift jar! Amanda Coleman shows you how to whip these up in a jiffy.
Hello Pebbles fans! Amanda here today with another fun and easy upcycled gift jar project.
As I was looking through my collection of empty food containers the other day, I saw a pair of spaghetti sauce jars that looked like they would make lovely gift containers. Inspired by the soft and delicate prints in Pebbles’ Special Delivery collections, I thought I would make some gift container for an expecting mama.
I started by spray painting the lids white. The paint finish is pretty durable as I have put the lids on and removed them several times. Next, I cut a strip of patterned paper and wrapped it around the jar, securing it in the back with glue dots.
I used my Bow-Easy bow maker to make the double bow at the top of each jar. It is easy to use and it makes it really easy to get the right sides of the ribbon on the front of the bow.
Using a Prego spaghetti sauce label as my inspiration, I designed a sentiment and printed it on patterned paper. I matted the sentiment with paper and adhered it to the jar. I trimmed an It’s a Girl sticker and affixed it to the jar.
