Happy Cake Day Party Favors

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today with my first post using the fun Happy Cake Day collection. I love making party favors. They can really help to create a festive vibe at your party. Instead of making just a couple cake boxes, I made an entire cake! Best of all, they can be displayed on a cake plate just like a real cake.

I made a combination of chocolate and strawberry cake boxes using several different pattern papers for my frosting. Some pretty rosette ribbon looks just like piped frosting along the edge of my cake.

You can decorate the boxes with stickers or die cut ephemera pieces like I did here.

The tops of the cake boxes come off to reveal a nice sized space for treats.

Each cake box also has it’s own candle. A little bit of yellow stickles gives them a warm glow.

Wouldn’t you love to receive one of these cake box party favors when you attend your next birthday party! You can find the cut file at SVGcuts, It’s called B is For Birthday.  Be sure to check out the Happy Cake Day collection for your families birthdays.

Supplies:
Happy Cake Day collection 12×12 paper pad
Happy Cake Day collection ephemera with foil accents
American Crafts cardstock

Hello, Pebbles’ fans! Eva on the blog today, sharing some boxes made with the Jen Hadfield Banner Punch Board and my favorite summer collection: Oh Summertime!

Create lovely boxes in minutes with the Banner Punch Board and the Oh Summertime line by @pebblesinc . pc:@evapizarrov

The Banner Punch is perfect to decorate parties and create awesome decor for your tables and walls, but did you know you can use it to create triangular boxes?

Create lovely boxes in minutes with the Banner Punch Board and the Oh Summertime line by @pebblesinc . pc:@evapizarrov

To start, cut a 4-inch wide paper strip. Place it over your Banner Punch Board on the 4-inch mark and cut the left side of the triangle. Use a scoring tool to score the right side. Next, flip the paper, move the scored line to the left and score again on the right side. Repeat these steps until you have 5 triangles. After the last one cut your paper using the blade.

Assemble your box by overlapping two triangles and close your boxes with some washi tape. I used the Oh, Summertime tapes, the colors and designs are awesome and I love that I get wide and thin washi tapes on one package.

To decorate my boxes I used some die cuts and a mini banner made with the Banner Punch Board. These boxes are perfect for a pool party or a summer birthday!

Do you like to create party favors? The Banner Punch Board is the perfect addition to your party tools. I use mine all the time! and if you think a little bit outside the box I am sure you can come up with lots of different projects using Pebbles’ wonderful supplies!

Thanks for joining me and have a great day!

Cute Little Easter Gift Boxes

Hello everyone, it’s Monique here today sharing a little Easter DIY project. Here in The Netherlands Spring is finally here! The weather has improved and the days are longer and I love what that means: Easter is around the corner! My kids love Easter and especially the hunt for the chocolate eggs my husband and I hide in the garden every year. That they love hunting for the chocolate eggs doesn’t mean that they also love to eat them … every year around August I have to throw away most of the Easter egg stash. This year I decided to do things a little differently. I won’t be hiding chocolate eggs, but little gift boxes with a little something inside (not chocolate!). For this purpose I created these 4 cute gift boxes using Pebbles’s Tealightful collection. I’ll definitely have to create a couple more, but I think these are super fun to begin with:

I used the We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board to create the 6″x6″ gift boxes. These punch boards are super easy to use and in no time at all the boxes were ready.

To create the bunnies I used a digital cut file from Lori Whitlock I found in the Silhouette Store. The ribbon I used around the boxes comes from my own stash.

I adore all the soft colors and cute designs in this collection and I wanted to use as many of the patterned papers as possible. I decided to use different papers for both the boxes and the bunnies.

For the finishing touch I gave all the boxes one of the seriously sweet puffy stickers as well.

Holly Jolly Christmas Gift Boxes

Hello everyone! It’s Monique on the blog today sharing a little last minute Christmas DIY project with you! How are enjoying December so far? I love every minute of it, but sometimes I wish it would be a little less hectic. It doesn’t matter how many lists I make, I always end up with last minute things, like buying just a few more presents or wrapping those last gifts. So for those of you who aren’t done gift wrapping just yet, here’re a couple of bright and colorful gift boxes using Pebbles’ fabulous Holly Jolly collection and the Pillow Box Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers.

Holly Jolly Christmas Gift Boxes made by @MoniqueLiedtke using the #HollyJolly collection from @PebblesInc.

So here’s what you do, gather your supplies: patterned papers for the boxes and something to decorate your boxes like die-cuts, tags, twine, stickers & ribbon. To create the boxes in the photo you have to cut your papers in the following sizes: 4″x 6″, 6″x 6″, 8″x 6″and 10″x 6″:

Following the instructions on the punch board the four papers look like this in no time at all:

Fold the papers and use double sided tape to glue the long/straight side of the box closed:

And now comes the fun part: decorating the boxes!

I totally adore the cute die-cuts in this collection: the elf, santa, the deer, the gingerbread cookie … I just love them all!

And I think it’s fabulous that a whole packet with tags and banners is included in this collection! They are just perfect for those gift boxes!

Warm & Cozy Geometric Boxes and Scraps Card

Hi Pebbles friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing my take on the “geometric shape” challenge.  I took a totally different direction on the challenge, and perhaps you won’t even be able to tell that I took the challenge at all…yet.  First though, let me share these super fun little treat boxes using the “Warm & Cozy” collection, along with the Candy Box punchboard to create these boxes.  I felt like this collection was just perfect for all things “gifty” for autumn, so this combination seemed like a natural fit.  Plus, the punchboard makes kind of a geometric-ish shape, right?  Ok, I know it might be a bit of a stretch, but I love the results anyway!

I made 3 different sizes of boxes and I embellished each one with various pieces from the collection. Here’s a closer look at each of the three boxes.

And here’s a look at the punchboard I used to make them.  The directions are printed right on the box, so it’s super easy to use.

Cut the paper to 7 inches wide, and any length you want for each box.  I made one 9 inches, one 7 inches, and one 5 inches.

After cutting the paper to the desired size, just follow the step-by-step instructions to complete each box.  This is where the real “geometric” portion of my project comes into play.  You see, when you follow the steps for the box, you punch out these diamond shapes.

If you make several boxes, you’ll end up with lots of different patterned diamond shapes.  Now, it just wouldn’t be right to let these cute shapes go to waste, right?

Here’s now I used them!  I lined them up and put them on the front of a card.  How’s that for being frugal and creating something fun too?!?
