We’ve had such fun sharing a bit of floral inspiration with you this week. We’re closing out this fun series with a post from Designer Wendy Sue Anderson, who’s created a lovely Garden Party flower bouquet.
Growing up, I remember my mom saying that she didn’t really like to receive flowers for Mother’s Day – not because the gift wasn’t thoughtful, but because they were expensive, and they didn’t last very long.
Well, won’t she be happy when she receives this beautiful bouquet? Paper flowers last forever! I used some beautiful pink papers from the Garden Party collection to create these pretty roses.
I found a cut file from the Silhouette store to cut out the shapes and assembled them according to the directions (hot glue was definitely helpful).
Next, I attached the flowers onto heavy gauge wire which I wrapped with floral tape. I cut the wire to different lengths, and placed them all into this cute little glass jar.
I wrapped a strip of patterned paper around the neck of the jar and tied on this sweet tag. I can’t wait to share these paper roses!
