Envelope Mini Album

There are some things that you can just count on in a Pebbles Inc. line, like mini envelopes. They’re the perfect size and soooo cute! This week we’re sharing mini envelope inspiration. Designer Eva Pizarro is kicking things off with a beautiful baby-themed envelope mini album.

I love the Mini Envelopes from Pebbles, you can use them to leave cute notes to someone you care, include them on your projects and also use them as pages for a mini album.

Fort his Project I used some of the envelopes from the Garden Party Collection and mixed them with the Special Delivery Girl line.

I used papers, overlays and some journaling cards from the pad.

All the pretty embellishments from this line allowed me to finish this cute little album in no time!

Inside the envelopes I left some room for photos, journaling spots, cute animals and even a sample of stickers so the mom to be can personalize the album.

Summer Scrapbook Layout

Are you ready for summer yet? If not perhaps this fun grid-style summer scrapbook layout created by Designer Marjan Pel will do the trick! We love the way she’s mixed patterned paper up for a fun look.

Last summer we had this beach vacation in the Netherlands. Zandvoort aan Zee is one of the major beach resorts of the Netherlands. It has a long sandy beach, bordered by coastal dunes. The kids loved it there! They played in the sand all day long. We had a lot of warm and sunny days during this summer vacation and we spent most of the time at the beach.

I wanted to scrap a fun scrapbook page about one day at the beach. First I cut my normal sized 4 x 6 pictures into squares because I wanted to use an easy grid design for my page. I used several yellow and blue designed patterned papers from different collections to make some sunburst cards.

I sewed vellum squares on 3 of them to give it an eclectic look.

I embellished the scrapbook layout with coordinating stickers and golden rub-ons. To give some of these embellishments a bit of a dimension I used little foam adhesives. The gold of some of the stickers and rub-ons remembers me of the color of the sun. For me sun is not only yellow, but has different shades of yellow and gold!

I just love summer and when I look at this scrapbook page I really can remember those warm and sunny days at the beach from Zandvoort aan Zee!

Looking for a unique layout to document your summer fun? You will love the summer layout Eva Pizarro has created.

I love to include graphic design in my projects, I found the inspiration for this huge chevron on Pinterest and thought I ‘d give it a try.

At first I was going to cut all the patterned papers but I finally decided to put my die cut machine to good use.

I created the file and cut it on white cardstock I backed each section with some colored papers from the Garden Party collection and then added the title and the embellishments.

I was able to include lots of photos in a page without fill in it too much by using an accordion.

Bug Jar

Nothing says summer like activities with the kids. If you’re embarking on a fun-filled summer with kids at home, or maybe just plan to have the grandkids over, you will love Amanda Coleman’s bug jar!

I love taking a seemingly useless item and turning it into something fun. I turned an ordinary, plastic peanut butter jar into a cute little bug jar where my kids could house their creepy crawlies throughout the summer.

The Garden Party collection is perfect for creating a little scene on a bug jar. The flower and bug die cuts made it really easy to embellish a jar in no time. The little sun is actually a flower die cut, but pairing it with some fussy cut clouds makes it look more like a bright sun.

I adhered a combination of die cuts, stickers, and fussy cut images to the outside of the bug jar. Aren’t those little bees the cutest?

I covered the top of the jar with a piece of patterned paper and drilled a few holes into the top of the lid. I labeled the jar with some coordinating Thickers. Super easy.

I backed the jar with a cloud print to complete the little scene, but you could easily leave this off so you can see through the jar from all directions.

To make the grass, cut a couple strips of patterned paper. Cut fringe in each strip with a pair of scissors and add some texture by trimming the top of the grass at an angle.
