Hello everyone! It’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today showing you how to make a quick and easy Father’s Day Accordion Mini Album using the gorgeous Patio Party line.

This mini album was easy and super fun to make! I included pictures of my husband and son, some words my son told me to write and even a small drawing! I am sure my husband is going to love it!

Start by cutting two strips of white cardstock 8 cm tall. (you can use any size you want)

Glue the two strips together and use your Mini Score Board to score your paper at 8 cm, 16 cm, 32 cm, 40 cm. Cut your paper at 48 cm wide.

Bend the two sides over the central part of your mini album.

Next, I used my 6×6 inch paper pad to decorate my accordion mini album. I also included two 7×7 cm pictures on the back of the mini.

I asked my son to draw something on this blank page and he decided to make a heart. He also wanted to write “daddy I love you” so I helped him out.

On the main accordion mini album page, I put a big photo and some decorations. I used die cuts and stickers from this lovely collection. I love the versatility of this line!

The cover is divided in two and to keep everything together I used a banner and some twine.

Remember to cut all the elements of your cover! I cut my “Happy” word in two so I could open the accordion mini album easily.

See how easy it was? A small but cute mini album that I am sure your husband is going to love. You can make the accordions longer to include more pictures, drawings or sweet words.

Hello Pebbles Friends! It is Leanne here today to share with you really cute, Father’s Day Gift Bag ideas.  Using the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punchboard and Pebbles Inc Simple Life Patterned paper collection, these gift bags came together quickly and with minimal fuss!  Let’s get started!

step 1 | Gather your supplies

These gift bags measure 4.5″ tall. Trim a piece of patterned paper to 4.5″x10″ (per single bag).

Small pieces of coordinating patterned paper to embellish.

White and one other coordinating coloured Cardstock pieces.

Gift Bag punchboard.

Various shaped punches. I have used a 2″ circle and 1″ starburst punch.

step 2 | Base gift bag

Create your base for the gift bag, following the instructions as per the punchboard. Fold on the score lines but do not adhere together.

Shirtfront Gift Bag

step 3 | Embellish

To create the gift bag with the shirt front, trim a piece of coordinating patterned paper to 0.5″x 2.5″.  Trim to form the collar of the shirt front, by notching a triangle from the bottom of the patterned paper. See sample above.

Trim two more tie shape pieces of paper from the same pattern.

step 4 | Add to the gift bag

Using  a thin strip of white cardstock 10″x 0.5″, fold in half and overlap the top edge of the gift bag. This cardstock strip gives the gift bag a more polished look.

Add the “tie” to the front section of your gift bag. See image above. Use a foam dot to mount on the “knot” of the tie.

step 5 | Build the gift bag

Once the gift bag has been embellished to your satisfaction, finish building  the gift bag as per the punchboard instructions. Adhere the sides and bottom of the bag securely.

step 6 | Braces and gift bag handles

Trim two thin strips of white cardstock to create the braces. Tuck the edges under the collar (see image above) and secure to the base of the bag.  Add the handles by using two pieces of cardstock paper strips. Finish by slightly bending the tip of the tie outwards for a little dimension.

Dimensional Star Tag Gift Bag

step 1 | Punch or trim the shapes for your tag.

step 2 | Dimensional star

Trim/Punch a 2″ star shape. Score a line from each tip to the opposite valley. See image below (score lines are marked in pencil).

step 3 | Fold

Fold each score line: the longer lines form mountains and the shorter lines form valleys.

step 4 | Assemble

Layer the tag with the largest piece on the bottom. Add foam tape between each layer.

Finish by adding a small hole in the top of the tag and thread twine through the top and around the handle of the gift bag.

I hope these gift bags bring a smile to the recipients face when they are presented with their next Father’s Day offering! Thanks for visiting.

Hello Pebbles’ fans! Eva Pizarro here today sharing a tutorial for an interchangeable photo frame that is perfect for Father’s Day.

Create an interchangeable Photo Frame with this tutorial by @evapizarrov using @pebblesinc new line #SimpleLife.

My husband recently changed job therefore I knew that a photo frame would be the perfect gift for him. This one is interchangeable and allows him to change the picture whenever he wants.

For this gift I decided to use the Simple Life collection because I think the patterns are perfect for a man, you can find ginghams, geometric, and woodgrain. And the color palette includes blues, grays and browns.

The first thing I did was to remove the glass of my photo frame and back it with this lovely geometric paper.

For my pictures I cut two 3×3 photo sleeves. One will be in the front and the other one in the back with the rest of my pictures.

Using the Frame Punch Board by our friends at we R Memory Keepers I created a 3×3 frame from this woodgrain paper.

I wanted to keep the embellishments to a minimum so I used a few die cuts and a word wood veneer.

Also, to wrap my interchangeable photo frame I used a wide orange ribbon and a small card made with one of these square sentiments.

Finally, I attached the extra photos on the back of the frame in another 3×3 photo sleeve.

And this is how my interchangeable photo frame turned out, I am sure my husband is going to love it!

I think it is really sweet and I can keep printing photos if he wants a few more! I am sure the color palette will work great in his office!

Father’s Day Layout Featuring The Simple Life Collection

Hello Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here to share a Father’s Day layout that I created with the Simple Life collection. Documenting Father’s Day isn’t something that I always remember to do (terrible, I know. I’m getting better though.)  When I sat down to create this Father’s Day layout I knew I wanted to use my favorite photo of my husband hugging our three kids. And, I knew I wanted to use the Simple Life collection. This collection is FULL of masculine colors and patterns. It was so easy to pick a few of my favorite patterned papers from this collection to create a layout. The first thing I did to create this Father’s Day layout was the title. I hand-cut the title out of patterned paper. I lightly drew the letters with a pencil before I began cutting. Then, it was time for some hand stitching. White embroidery floss gave the letters a bit of texture but didn’t overwhelm the letters. Hand stitching adds such a unique texture and is so easy to do. It only took about 30 minutes to stitch around the letters. Below the title is a block of typed journaling on white cardstock. Lately, I’ve done a lot of typed journaling. Even though I love handwriting my journaling, I have really big handwriting. By typing the journaling it fit into a much smaller space. This layout has a very central design but I did create movement by strategically placing the embellishment clusters in opposite corners of the central design.  The smaller embellishment cluster is in the bottom left corner of the photo. The larger embellishment cluster is in the upper right corner of the title. To balance the layout, I made sure that the same, colors, shapes, and textures were found in both embellishment clusters. I also added a couple of staples to each embellishment cluster. The staples add to the masculine feel of the layout.

I’m thrilled to have a completed Father’s Day layout with the Simple Life collection to display in our living room for Father’s Day. Do you display holiday themed layouts in your home?

Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog today. I’ll see you again soon!

Hi Pebbles Fans! Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing with you an easy Father’s Day Bottle Toppers idea made with the America the Beautiful collection.

Father's Day Bottle Toppers made with Silhouette and @pebblesinc America the Beautiful collection. Project created by @ribbonsandglue

Father’s Day Bottle Toppers

Dad’s are pretty simple to give gifts too.  I know my own Dad doesn’t want anything big and my husband is pretty simple too.   Since my husband does like flavored sodas, I had my kids pick out some flavors their Dad would like and added a quick and easy bottle topper on to them.

To make these Father’s Day Bottle Toppers, I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out a Father’s Day Tie Bottle Topper file using patterned papers then used my CAMEO again to cut out the letters.

After the toppers were cut out and embellished, they slid easily  over the top of the bottle necks.  Just like a necktie.

I think these Father’s Day Bottle Toppers turned out great and they really are a simple gift idea for all those simple, easy going Father’s out there too.
