With Garden Party in the house, we’ve all got a bit of “Spring Fever.” Today Designer Suzanna Lee is sharing a super-fun set of spring themed gift bags. We hope you love them just as much as we do!
I’m really not much of project creator – I’m more of a scrapbooker.
How can you not want to create with the Garden Party collection though? Around the various holiday’s throughout the year, I am always looking for creative ways to gussie up presents for my kids and their friends.
For Easter, I can up with these gift bags. Though they aren’t specific to Easter, they could be used for a gorgeous Mother’s Day gift or a thank you to a friend with some bulbs inside!
These treat bags came together lickety split with the aid of a gift bag cut file from the Silhouette store. To create the bottom layer, re-cut the same file a tad larger and cut the bottom third off (or delete the top 2/3rds in Silhouette Studio as I did). Use a punch for the grassy border and set to work embellishing.
The die cuts make for the perfect garden! Thread some twine through holes on either side of the ticket and you have dressed up things a bit.
Wanting to do something a bit different for each child, the second gift bag has it’s own unique “spring”! Use talcum powder on the back of the sticker to removed the stick thus enabling you to adhere it to the grass without having it stick onto the gift bag.
