The countdown is on!  With a list of holiday activities and preparations a mile long, are handmade Christmas cards on your list? If you think you don’t have time to make handmade Christmas cards this year, let me try to convince you otherwise!

Quick and Easy Christmas Card Set by Wendy Sue Anderson for @PebblesInc. with the "Cozy & Bright" Collection

I whipped up this cute little set in a matter of minutes.  With the tiniest bit of preparation, you can too!  Keep reading to see how!

Start by gathering and prepping a few things.  First of all, find this fun page full of 3×4 cards

You can either cut the cards apart, or use a decorative die to cut them:

Now cut several strips of patterned paper 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″

A few patterned paper backgrounds are a must!  These are trimmed to 4″ x 5 1/4″

Grab the set of pre-made tags and brads (not pictured here) that coordinate with this fun collection:

White card bases are always my first choice – these are cut and scored at a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

Once the supplies are gathered, you can assemble the cards lickity split!  All you need is adhesive!  Here we go:

First, lay out the backgrounds:

Place the strips right in the middle of each background.  The are just a bit taller than the backgrounds, so make sure they are 1/8″ over the top and bottom both:

Now you can go ahead and place the tag in the middle of each strip:

Add a brad to each tag top.  Remember those cute 3×4 cards?  Go ahead and place one trimmed card over each tag:

Only add adhesive to the top part of the 3×4 cards – this will create a fun peek-a-boo, interactive effect!

Attach each piece to a white card background – and you’re all done!!Quick and Easy Christmas Card Set by Wendy Sue Anderson for @PebblesInc. with the "Cozy & Bright" Collection

You could easily make dozens of these cards while you sit and watch a favorite holiday movie!!  They would also make a sweet hostess gift.  Or a gift for a busy friend.  So, tell us, are you planning to make your own handmade cards?  Have we swayed you to our side??!! ♥

Hi Pebbles Friends!

Amanda here, & welcome back for more Christmas inspiration with our gorgeous new Cozy & Bright collection!

As we head into December, it’s time to start getting all those beautiful Christmas cards created and ready to write! Today I’m sharing a super quick & simple tutorial on how to make a set of beautiful cards in next to no time!

Here’s a little look at my completed cards…..

Oh aren’t these the sweetest?!! So super cute!

I can’t help but sing, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, It’s the best time of the year…”

I may have put the Christmas Carols on while I created these pretty cards 😉 It really is my most favorite Holiday!

But enough chatter, here’s how easy it is to recreate these lovely cards…

Start with two sheets of white Bazzill cardstock and trim each sheet 6″ x 8″. Score and fold each cut to create a total of 4 card bases (repeat this process for as many cards as you need). Use the Cozy & Bright Washi Tapes to border the front of each card – as shown above.

Using the reverse side of pattern paper Warm And Cozy, trim 4 rectangles each measuring 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Add a 1 inch thick ribbon 1/2″ from the base of each rectangle.

Foam mount the Warm And Cozy rectangles and adhere to card fronts.

Use the Cozy & Bright 6 x 6 Paper Pad & punch out 4 large circles . Select an ephemera sentiment, and foam mount onto the large cirlces.

Glue the circle sentiments to the card fronts.

Embellish with  more Cardstock Shapes Ephemera, and an Embellished Brad.

Note: I prefer to remove the pins from the back of my brads and adhere them with foam dots, creating a flair button appearance.

So simple, and yet, oh so pretty!!!

Here’s a better look at my Cozy & Bright card set….

SO cute!!!

Absolutely adorable and oh so easy to make!!! You could easily make a dozen of these sweet cards at your next craft afternoon and be prepared for the Season of Giving!

I hope I have inspired you! Happy Holidays & thanks so much for visiting!

Happy Arty Days, Amanda xo

Christmas Treats for Your “Sweets”

Hi everyone.  Heather Leopard is here sharing a Christmas surprise idea with you.  I made some Christmas treats for my “sweets”. My sweet girls that is and it was so fun to make these and to watch the delight my girls had wondering and discovering what was inside.

I’ll step you through how I made these but I’ll be back next week with the process video I created so you can see it come together in action!

It might be a little hard to tell but these treat bags are bursting at the seams with Christmas chocolates!  These can be used as party favors, advent or just fun little treats for your friends, family and even co-workers. The great thing is that they are really easy to make if you have a pair of scissors or die cutting machine, glue and a few embellishments.

Let’s take a look at how I assembled the Christmas tree. I used my Silhouette CAMEO but you could easily hand cut these.  Either way, you need two identical cut trees. Easy, right?

Next, add brads from the embellished brads set. Alternatively, you can use die cuts, glitter, enamel dots but these brads are just so awesome.  I love the color variations and the gold rim around them.

Next, Starting at the widest part of the tree, which is the bottom, glue the bottom and the edges together until you have a large pocket.  Once dry, fill it with candies. Repeat until you are at the top and your tree is completely filled.

Here’s an example of a treat bag embellished with die cuts.  Simply adhere the die cut with strong liquid adhesive and set aside to dry.

Set them out as a surprise treat for the special people in your life.  They have no idea what’s inside and it’s so fun to watch them open their surprise.

Beware, they will want to open them all!  You could also add in different candies or other small items you think your friends and family will enjoy!

Check back next week for the process video I filmed while creating these Christmas treats for my sweets!

Mini Christmas Treat Bags

Can you believe that Christmas is only 50 (FIFTY!!) days away?  I’m already in full Christmas-prep mode, and one of my first projects is these cute mini Christmas Treat Bags I made with the brand new “Cozy & Bright” collection!  They are so cute and easy – keep reading to see how you can whip up a batch yourself!Mini Christmas Treat Bags by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Cozy & Bright" collection by @PebblesInc.

Start by choosing a favorite treat bag cut file (THIS is the one I used) and a fun patterned paper.

After cutting the shape, score it along the fold lines:

And use a strong adhesive to secure the sides.

You can fill it up now, or wait and add the treats later.

Embellish the bag with a fun tag.  Start with the printed “Cozy & Bright” tag page and cut out your favorites:

Cut out a tag shape from a coordinating patterned paper to layer:

Next, punch a hole in the top of the tags:

And add a coordinating brad through the holes to attach them together.

You can stop here, or continue embellishing the tag with additional layers.  Of course, I usually choose to add more!  I found a coordinating printed die-cut shape (the same image as the printed tag).

I used foam adhesive squares to layer the die-cut directly over the printed snowman:

Add I couldn’t resist finding a way to add one of these darling little puffy sticker candy canes:

I attached the finished tag to the front of the gift bag to complete my project:

I repeated the process several times to make more treat bags.

Here’s one with a cute toadstool house:

A silly holiday sloth:

A sweet reindeer:

And, of course, the big guy himself:

These little bags are so quick and easy and cute, they would be easy to make in bulk for neighbor gifts, classroom treats, or coworker surprises. I think you could whip up 25 of them and make a darling little advent/countdown ’til Christmas project too!  I’d love to see what YOU do with this fun idea for making mini Christmas treat bags !

Merry 50 days until Christmas to all!
