Hello everyone and welcome to our blog! It’s Eva on the blog today a tutorial on how to create a colorful edge for your next scrapbook layout.

create a colorful and fast edge on your pages using washi tape! Project by @evapizarrov using the Cozy And Bright collection from @pebblesinc

Here in Chile, we celebrate Christmas during the summer, we receive bikes and all sorts of summer toys! My husband is from Italy and he misses the snow and cold days, he says it doesn’t feel like Christmas because it is hot and sunny! For this layout, I decided to scrapbook a picture of my little boy while he decorated the tree. I can’t believe how much he has grown in a year!

To create the colorful edge I used washi tape. I love how simple this is and it really helps your layout to stand out!

Simply put different lengths of washi tape over the edge and wrap the edges at the end of the page.

Use different patterns and put one on top of the other to get a cool look!

Once my edge was complete, I used the ephemera to create a ” Christmas village” around my photo. Tip: Use 3d dots to give some dimension to a few elements.

Next, I used my Magnetic Mat to create perfectly aligned lines for my journaling.

I love these Wood Thickers! they are perfect to create titles and add a handwritten element to your page!

The designs of this collection are colorful and fun. The elves add a playful element and the wood pattern is lovely don’t you think?

The snowflakes are also one of my favorites, I love chipboard elements!

And here’s my final page! the colorful edge gives the layout a nice touch and I didn’t use any patterned paper! I love simple layouts, there’s no excuse for not saving the lovely memories during this busy holiday season.

Hi Pebbles Friends!

Welcome back for more Christmas inspiration!

Amanda here, & this week’s theme post is all about documenting a Christmas Tradition in your ‘home’ country. For those of you who don’t know, I’m an Aussie girl and spend most of my days at the beach! And Christmas is no exception! But before we get to the big day, we have quite a few traditions that we like to participate in. The festive season doesn’t officially start for us until the Christmas Pageant (think Christmas Parade ) has occurred. So, for today’s post, I am documenting my children participating in the Christmas Pageant. Yay!

Here’s my layout…..

“Pageant Day”

Isn’t this the sweetest?! Such a bright, happy & adorable page! So.much.fun!

Best part? It’s super simple and easy to recreate – here’s how….

Start by trimming the reverse side of pattern paper Tis The Season (candy cane stripes) on an angle. I made my paper strip 3″ at the widest end and 2″ at the shortest point. Attach to the top of the white cardstock background. Repeat this process, but this time use the candy canes pattern of Tis The Season, and reduce all measurements by one inch. Layer over the top of the stripes paper & glue into place (as shown above).

Take your square photograph, and tuck a Cozy & Bright Tag beneath it. Add a a few layers of torn white tissue wrap to the back of the tag. This torn paper adds both dimension and interest to the photo cluster.

Foam mount the photo cluster onto the top right hand side of the layout, & embellish with a few Die Cuts.

I just adore that cookies n cocoa Santa – so super cute!

Embellish with more Die Cuts, as well as some fabulous 6″ x 12 ” Accent Stickers.

Add a 1/2″ trim of pattern paper, Tis The Season (reverse side) to the very base of the page.

Embellish with those amazing Decorative Brads.

Add some Puffy Stickers – they make everything look awesome!

Create your title (& xo subtitles) with the Cozy & Bright Maggie Thickers. So cool! Love these amazing candy cane print alphas!

Build on your title work with a Decorative Brad!

Continue to embellish with stickers, brads and die cuts until your happy!

And Voila! An adorable page that is oh-so easy to create!

Here’s a few close ups for you……

And there you have it! Cozy & Bright – perfect for documenting the Festive Season!

I hope I’ve inspired you to get creating with this amazing new line!

Happy Holidays, Friends!

Hi Pebbles Friends!

Amanda here, & welcome back for more Christmas inspiration with our gorgeous new Cozy & Bright collection!

As we head into December, it’s time to start getting all those beautiful Christmas cards created and ready to write! Today I’m sharing a super quick & simple tutorial on how to make a set of beautiful cards in next to no time!

Here’s a little look at my completed cards…..

Oh aren’t these the sweetest?!! So super cute!

I can’t help but sing, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, It’s the best time of the year…”

I may have put the Christmas Carols on while I created these pretty cards 😉 It really is my most favorite Holiday!

But enough chatter, here’s how easy it is to recreate these lovely cards…

Start with two sheets of white Bazzill cardstock and trim each sheet 6″ x 8″. Score and fold each cut to create a total of 4 card bases (repeat this process for as many cards as you need). Use the Cozy & Bright Washi Tapes to border the front of each card – as shown above.

Using the reverse side of pattern paper Warm And Cozy, trim 4 rectangles each measuring 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Add a 1 inch thick ribbon 1/2″ from the base of each rectangle.

Foam mount the Warm And Cozy rectangles and adhere to card fronts.

Use the Cozy & Bright 6 x 6 Paper Pad & punch out 4 large circles . Select an ephemera sentiment, and foam mount onto the large cirlces.

Glue the circle sentiments to the card fronts.

Embellish with  more Cardstock Shapes Ephemera, and an Embellished Brad.

Note: I prefer to remove the pins from the back of my brads and adhere them with foam dots, creating a flair button appearance.

So simple, and yet, oh so pretty!!!

Here’s a better look at my Cozy & Bright card set….

SO cute!!!

Absolutely adorable and oh so easy to make!!! You could easily make a dozen of these sweet cards at your next craft afternoon and be prepared for the Season of Giving!

I hope I have inspired you! Happy Holidays & thanks so much for visiting!

Happy Arty Days, Amanda xo

Happy Hooray, it’s Christmas!

Hi Pebbles Friends! Amanda here with my first official Design Team share! When I received my Pebbles Design Team kit, I was delighted to find the Happy Hooray collection – perfect for all our birthday celebrations! Then, before I could consider creating,  it dawned on me that it’s only 3 days til Christmas?!! Oh me, oh my! Not to mention, I needed a last minute Christmas gift?!

Never fear! Pebbles collections are always super versatile and I just love to get creative!

Happy Hooray it’s Christmas!

I had an American Crafts mini clipboard in my stash, and decided to alter it in Festive fashion…..

Oh isn’t this the sweetest last minute Christmas gift?! Because it is ‘last minute’ it’s super quick and easy to put together.

I cut a few pattern paper strips and scallop border punch one side…..

Concertina fold each scallop, and hot glue the two ends together to create my own paper rosettes.

Tip: I like to add a lil extra hot glue in the rosette centers to really hold them in place.

Embellish the rosettes with buttons, bows and those fabulous gold foil stickers from the Jen Hadfield Sticker Book (these beauties are at Hobby Lobby!).

Voila! The perfect adornment for cards, tags, and in my case, an altered clipboard!

Add a couple of white die cut or cut file snowflakes, and attach to clipboard.

Clip on your Christmas message, or favorite Festive photograph, & add a couple more of those sweet stickers.

For finishing touches, add a few ribbons, twine or even lace bows to soften the clipboard.

And there you have it!

A super quick Christmas gift with the Happy Hooray collection!

I hope you’ll give this quick craft a try!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Arty Days, Amanda xo

We Believe Christmas Traditions Scrapbooking Layout

Merry Christmas, y’all!   Heather Leopard is here today to tell you about one of my family’s Christmas traditions – train ride to see Santa via the Polar Express in our Christmas pajamas from our house elves.  The girls get super excited when they discover these gifts from their elves, who by the way end up covered in tape and wrapping paper. It’s so funny and so cute to watch the girls.  I’ve documented this story on this scrapbooking layout.

We snapped these photos while waiting for the train to take us to the North Pole. The girls even received a golden ticket for the ride.

Gather your supplies

Christmas Traditions Scrapbooking Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @PebblesInc #merrymerry collection #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #scrapbook #Christmas #ChristmasTraditions #ChristmasTree #Cutfile

You’ll need 5 – 9 patterned papers, scissors or die cut machine, the free cut file I designed, mist or other ink medium, die cuts and other embellishments as listed in supplies below.

Document your Christmas Traditions

Christmas Traditions Scrapbooking Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @PebblesInc #merrymerry collection #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #scrapbook #Christmas #ChristmasTraditions #ChristmasTree #Cutfile

Hand cut the pieces of your Christmas tree or download my free cut file HERE. Cut each piece and arrange on the page to make sure you like how it looks. Don’t add adhesive yet.  You may choose to cut each piece using a different pattern like I did, the same pattern or a repeating pattern. Either way, it will look fantastic.  I chose to spread them out with a little space here and there but you might want to place them right next to each other without the space.

Next, spray gold mist lightly over your background paper. Once dry, splatter red, green and gold.  Let that dry as well.

Add your tree pieces back to the page and add some random, creative stitching.  Don’t worry about perfection. It was designed to have some irregularities.

Christmas Traditions Scrapbooking Layout by @HeatherLeopard using @PebblesInc #merrymerry collection #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #scrapbook #Christmas #ChristmasTraditions #ChristmasTree #Cutfile

Add some puffy stickers as decorations for your trees to add a bit more dimension.  Try to pick out stickers that are the same color as or coordinate with the patterned paper.

Christmas Traditions Documented

Add your photos and other embellishments and don’t forget your journaling.  While I am going to create a complimentary Christmas traditions pocket page with photos of the elves and extensive journaling, I left space at the top of the photos to add journal strips.

So tell me…what are your favorite Christmas traditions this holiday season?

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
