Easy Christmas Countdown Project

Well, hello friends! I know…we’re only a week into November…but a girl’s gotta get prepared!! I’m Wendy Sue and I’m happy to be joining you here on the blog today, sharing my 12 Days of Christmas countdown project for this year!

A fun 12 Days of Christmas countdown by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Merry Little Christmas" collection by @PebblesInc.

This is a fun, yet quick and easy, way to count down the 12 days before Christmas. Each day is represented with a simple numbered pillow box. Inside each box I will include a small treat plus an activity or project we will be doing on that day! Here’s a quick tutorial for creating the boxes:

I used the new “Merry Little Christmas” collection and I just love how the patterns are so fun to mix and match! Start by cutting out the pillow boxes. I used my silhouette (there are tons of pillow box cut files available online – use the one you like!), but you can also find a template and cut them out by hand – they are super easy to make! Use strong tape to attach the box sides, especially if you’ll be including something heavier (like chocolate, hint-hint) inside!

Wrap a long length of string around the box and tie in a knot.

Now it’s time to make the cute tags for each box. You’ll need the large tree tag punch by EK Success, green cardstock, and the washi tape that coordinates with this collection.

Punch 24 tags (they will be doubled up). Cover the tree portion with washi tape – you can use one style or layer a few. Sandwich the washi tape by placing a second tag over the top. Replace the tree cut-out on the back to strengthen the opening.

If desired, add nuvo dots for dimension and interest. You could also add enamel dots or other types of embellishments. Tie the tag onto the string. Add a bow.

Now add the number to each box. I used several different syles of Thickers from my stash.

Repeat the process to create 12 boxes!

Now sit back, relax, and wait for December 12th to arrive so you can start counting down with your fun creation!

Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new project to share using the Merry Little Christmas collection. As I was walking through my local dollar store the other day, I came across these 12×12 canvases and thought how perfect for a paper project!

This was such a fun and simple project to make. I used beautiful papers from this collection with a cut file from Lori Whitlock. Look how cute that truck is with the hearts paper!

I used some 3D squares to pop up a few of the embellishments to add some more dimension.

This was really a quick project but I love how it turned out. I can’t wait to display it in my house!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Pebbles Friends & Fans!

Amanda here, and today I am sharing a really simple process video with our super cute Cozy & Bright collection! I just love this adorable collection – it’s so playful & fun! Perfect for documenting all the holly jolly Christmas moments!

But enough chatter, here’s what my finished project looks like…..

“Holly Jolly”

Oh isn’t this the sweetest?!! Nothing’s more precious than a puppy for Christmas!!! Holly jolly, indeed!

I’ve featured one inch strips of the bright stripes pattern paper, MERRY & BRIGHT to act as an anchor at both the top and base of my 12 inch white cardstock page.  I’ve also drawn on the less traditional Christmas colors in this collection, and used the light blue and pink for a more whimsical look!

Here’s a closer look for you…..

This is oh so pretty! Lots of beautiful embellishments to adorn and support my sweet photo!

I fussy cut those  blue & pink tags from pattern paper GIVE JOY, and use them to layer my photo with. The use of tags is a great alternative to blocks of pattern paper, and adds a more playful and fresh look!

Just look at the soft glitter on the 6 x 12 ACCENT STICKERS – those red baubles are just divine!

Loving those DECORATIVE BRADS too!

Want to see more, including how this layout came together? Please watch my short process video HERE.

Thanks so much for subscribing to my channel too!

I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to get creating with Cozy & Bright for the Holidays!

Merry Christmas, & Happy Arty Days,

Amanda xo

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing a quick tutorial on how to create this Christmas Mini Album to record all your holiday memories

Create a quick accordion Christmas mini album with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the new #Warmandcozy line from @pebblesinc

Christmas is a busy season here on the southern hemisphere, kids are finishing the school year and we have field trips, graduations, and many more events! That’s why I like to plan ahead and make a mini album to record my Christmas before the crazy season starts.

To create this Christmas Mini Album I made a 3×4 inch accordion base with white cardstock. Accordion mini albums are great because you can make them as big as you want!

Whenever I am making a mini album without the pictures I like to cut small rectangles or squares and use them to design my pages, it is so much easy this way!

The new Cozy and Bright line is filled with Christmas sayings and the die cuts are the perfect size for my 3 x 4 inch album.

I also used this patterned paper to cut 3×4 cards and used them to fill the entire page. And I didn’t forget my journaling space, during the holidays I tend to write a bit more so I left pages exclusively for journaling.

I also used the 12 x 6 sticker sheets to add small accents, you can’t see it in the pictures but the stickers have glitter on top!

Don’t be afraid to bend your die cut and use 2 pages for your design!

Another lovely embellishment is the clear stickers, these are perfect for your planner and I used them to decorate a page with patterned paper squares.

Finally, my last tip is to use the 6×6 paper pads for mini albums and cardmaking, the designs are in scale so you can see them more clearly! plus, the 6 x6 paper pad has glitter accents!

To create the cover of my mini album I used this red and white glittered paper to add some texture to my project.

I really like how quick this project was and now I am ready to print and glue pictures in the “photo” spots. Is your holiday season as busy as mine? have you ever made a Christmas mini album in advance?

Quick and Easy Christmas Eve Layout

Do you have fun Christmas traditions that you repeat every single year?  The kind that don’t really need a lot of explanation?  We do – and even though they don’t need a lot of words, I always have photos that I want to use to document our fun family time.  Today I want to share the layout I created to document our traditional family Christmas Eve activities.  The kids always get new pajamas and a movie or game…just a few of the fun things we all look forward to every December 24th!

Did you happen to see the cards I created recently with this collection (here)?  I used a die to cut out the 3×4 cards, which left me with these strips:

As I started cleaning up my scraps from that project, I was going to toss these, but then I realized how they looked like cute little frames or filmstrips – so I tucked them away with a plan to use them on my next project!

Fast forward to today – and here we are  – making my “next” project!  I printed several photos 3″ x 4″ to use on my layout along with these strips (flipped over to the “b” side of the paper).

I started by placing the photos in the openings of the frames:

And then I placed the strips on a fun patterned background:

Next, I just started filling in the blanks – and assembling everything – with all of the amazing coordinating products in this collection, it was truly quick and easy!

Oh, see the word “EVE” in my title?  It didn’t come that way on the Thicker sheet – but here’s a little peek at how I made it:

I took parts of these two words:

And I trimmed the “W” to make a “V” to create:

It’s fun to get creative and customize pieces to fit your needs!

Thanks for stopping by – I hope you take lots of photos this holiday season – and don’t forget to document them!!

Merry Christmas!
