Hello friends, it’s Lucile! Today I find you for make Christmas cards! It’s Christmas soon and you still haven’t made your Christmas cards? I’ll show you how to quickly make cards to give to your family or friends.

To make these cards you will need some scraps of paper and embellishments. The first step is to create a frame to define the outline of the card.

For the first card, I cut a project life card in pink tones. I pasted it in the center of the card. I added golden puffy words to dress up the card.

Finally, I added embellishments to finish decorating the card. I glued some elements with 3D foam squares to add volume.

For the second card, I use the same technique. I cut a project life card in blue tones.

Finally, I created a Christmas village decor with embellishments from the collection.

I hope you like these quick and easy to create cards. I wish you a happy new year. See you soon, Lucile.

Merry Little Christmas Cards

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. Christmas cards may seem a little old fashion, but receiving one in the mail delights me so much. There is just something more tangible to a real card versus receiving an electronic greeting. There is still time to create some Christmas cards to send out to your favorite people too. I have a few ideas to share with you today using the festive Merry Little Christmas collection.

To aid in the creative process, I like to sort my die cut ephemera pieces into categories. For these cards, I had Winter scene and Santa Claus piles. Then I start looking for coordinating pattern paper. For this card I cut the 3×4 journal card with the card sentiment from a sheet of pattern paper, adhered it to some white cardstock and added a border.

Sometimes the pattern paper reminds me of a digital cut file that I have. This cut file is from JustNick Studios.

This card too was created with one of the 3×4 journal cards cut from a sheet of pattern paper. This time I adhered it to some fun banners I cut out with my Jen Hadfield Banner Punch Board.

I couldn’t resist making a little winter scene on this card using the tiny stickers. They are so fun to add a little dimension. I almost made this a shaker card. Wouldn’t that have been fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Christmas is 2 weeks away so go make some cards to mail!!

Thank You Cards with Yvette, our guest designer!

Hello everyone!  My name is Yvette Weber and I am so excited to be a guest on the Pebbles blog today.  With the holiday just behind us, I decided to make a couple of thank you cards to share with you. It’s such a wonderful way to say thank you, for all of the amazing gifts you got!
For my first card, I started by drawing a isosceles triangle to use as an outline for my Christmas tree.
I had an idea to create a Christmas tree using circles…the beautiful patterns and colors in the Cozy and Bright collection were absolutely perfect for this.
I needed my circles to be very small, so I used a 3/4 inch circle punch to punch several circles from the patterned papers I selected…
Next, I started gluing the circles in place, starting from the bottom and making sure to slightly overlap each one as I worked my way to the top.
Here’s a look at the finish tree!

To give the illusion that the tree is lit up, I added a bit of yellow paint. Stitched around the perimeter and then adhered it another layer of patterned paper.

A fussy cut flower was used as a tree topper and I couldn’t resist using those adorable gingerbread boy/girl die-cuts to embellish my card. To finish the card off, I added a stamped sentiment and some enamel dots.

For the second card, I combined patterned papers from Merry Merry and Cozy and Bright collections to create a grid design.

I start by cutting my patterned paper into four rectangles (2 1/2 x 1 5/8)

Use a white gel pen and a ruler to add some faux stitching to each of the rectangles.

Next, I use a decorative die-cut with some vellum to add another layer to my card.

Embellish with a few die-cut pieces from the Cozy and Bright collection.

Add a stamped sentiment as well as a piece of patterned paper to the inside of the envelope – I really love how this turned out!

If you have a photo of you or your loved one opening that gift, why not enclose a copy of it in your card!

I hope I inspired you today to create a few Holiday thank you cards….

Have a wonderful day!
