Summer Shaped Cards

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. I thought it would be fun to create some shaped cards with the Pebbles Sun & Fun collection. I love creating shaped cards. I think they add a little whimsy to any occasion.

The inspiration for my surfboard card was all the adorable die cut ephemera kids in bathing attire. I thought surfboards would make a cool backdrop for them. I used a SVGcuts cut file. This card opens almost in the middle, with two surfboards on the left and one on the right of the opening.

I popped the die cuts up with foam dots for dimension and even added a fussy cut beach ball. There are a number of different sentiments in the ephemera pack that fit lots of different occasions. Puffy dot stickers add more dimension.

The “You’re One In A Melon” journal card inspired this next card. The watermelon slice was a Silhouette cut file. By duplicating the shape and welding the two slices together at the top, I was able to create my very own watermelon card.

The die cut watermelon in the ephemera pack was popped up on foam and attached to the front of this card. Once again, I added some puffy dot stickers for dimension.

Why not create a summer card yourself and send off to brighten someone’s day. Thanks for stopping by.

Super Easy Envelope Cards | Terhi

Hi Friends! Terhi here with a super simple but very creative idea for your next cards to make.

Sunny summer starts soon and as usual, I want to make sure I have couple of spare cards to give away if needed. And I like the cards to be themed with the ongoing season. Therefore, Sun and Fun papers and embellishments are playing the main role with these cards.

To create a simple envelope, I used We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. It’s very easy to use and in just a couple of minutes I had envelope in my hands just in a size I wanted to.

In order to use the envelope both as a card and an envelope, I didn’t add any adhesives. To replace glue and all other permanent attachments, I only added some washi tapes to close the envelopes. This way the receiver can open it, read it, and again close it.

The front sides of the envelopes are decorated with Sun and Fun ephemera and couple of layered flowers I had left from creating a wreath (link).

To make the cards matching any occasion I chose to use sentiments like “Hooray!” or “Hello there!”, as these are not preferring to specific celebrations. “Hellos” can be said any day, just to wish a happy day!

Finally to finish up the cards I added some fussy cut butterflies here and there. The butterflies and puffy dot stickers makes the perfect details for the lovely layered cards.

Hope you feel inspired!

Hello everyone! Eva on the blog today sharing two interactive cards made with the lovely Happy Cake Day line.

Create an interactive birthday card that will wow your friends with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the Happy Cake day Line by @pebblesinc

This line is perfect for all your celebrations! The designs are playful and fun and you can use it for an adult birthday party and a child also! it is super versatile!

To create these cards, I started by cutting a card base, a patterned paper, and a 3,5-inch circle.

I also cut a 3,5-inch circle to use as my template. I pierced a hole in the middle and also cut the 1-inch window I was going to use for my card.

I searched my patterned paper for a big birthday cake and found it in this paper. It was the perfect size for my card!

Next, I used my template to pierce the center hole and the window on my patterned paper. This step is very important because you want all your elements to be aligned perfectly.

After that, I used a brad to hold the patterned paper and the circle together and added my cake with 3d dots on top.

Next, cut different animals from the patterned paper and glued them on the window. To allow the wheel to turn easily, I punched the edge of my card with a circle punch.

The puffy dots are super fun and add a festive touch to the card.

Cards for summer!

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile. Today I find you to create cards for the summer! Pebbles’ Fun and Sun collection is the perfect collection for creating summer cards. I love it it is very colorful! To create my cards, I cut a 30 x 10 cm piece of white paper and folded it in half.

For the first card, I started by cutting a lined pink paper. For this card I wanted to pretend it was a photo. I used a pink polaroid frame that I found in the die cuts of the collection. I glued it with 3D foam squares to give an impression of volume to my card. Then I stuck two characters inside.

For the decoration of my card, I cut two lemon to add a touch of yellow and contrast with pink. Then I added the word “hello” and then a label. I finished by adding foam dots.

For the second card, I chose a pink grid paper. For realized based on this card I used the paper of the collection with different strips of paper. I really like this technique for using scraps of paper, it adds color to my creations. I cut strips of paper of different colors and I glued them by aligning them.

Then I pasted a die cuts with a message and a character to make a reminder with the first card. I added a hashtag and ended up sticking foam dots.

I hope that these cards for the summer with the Fun and Sun collection will please you and inspire you. I can’t wait to see your creations!
