Bottle Shaped Lullaby Cards

Hi Pebbles friends! It’s Monique here sharing a pair of super sweet bottle shaped Lullaby cards. As of last week I have a brand new nephew and of course I needed a card to welcome him to the family! The Pebbles Lullaby collection was the answer! In the Silhouette shop I found this cute bottle cut file and when I saw it I knew I wanted to use it to create my card and because I wanted to use both the boys and the girls line of the Lullaby collection I made one for a baby girl as well. I really love how they turned out!

The cards measure 4″ x 5.5″. I cut the base for the cards from American Crafts white cardstock. Choosing the patterned papers and the die-cuts wasn’t easy. They are all so awesome that it took me quite a while to make a choice which ones to use! And don’t you just adore those matching Thickers?!

Because I knew who the boys card was for, I got to use those Thickers:

I really loved the look of the gingham pattern and as it’s so easy to combine with any die-cut I chose that for the bottle. I added the name of my nephew with the stork die-cut below. I doodled a line around the edge and would a bit of twine around the neck of the bottle. After adding three enamel shapes (from the Fun in the Sun collection) I declared my card finished!

I kept to the same concept for the baby girl card, but chose different patterned papers. Because I don’t know yet who the card is for, I kept it more neutral and chose the “oh baby” die-cut:

Aren’t they adorable?! I wish I knew more people to whom I could send a baby card!

Hi Pebbles Inc. fans! Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing with you a Pineapple Fun Swing Card made with the Pebbles Inc. Everyday collection.

Pineapple Fun Swing Card made with @pebblesinc Everyday collection by @jenhadfield. Card created by @ribbonsandglue

Pineapple Fun Swing Card

I’ve always been a big fan of the pineapple. Since I grew up in South Florida, I’ve always been around tropical decor and I’ve even used to grow pineapples on my Lanai in  pots. Pineapples really are super easy to grow. Just plant the leafy top part of the pineapple that you cut  in to soil and if you’re lucky, in a few months you will have a small pineapple grow. That’s it!

Pineapple Fun Swing Card made with @pebblesinc Everyday collection and @silhouettepins

To make this Pineapple Fun Card, I used my Silhouette to cut out a 3 Square Flip Card card using Everyday patterned papers.

Inside the Pineapple Fun Card, I cut small journaling sentiments out of the 6 x 6 paper pad and adhered them on to the middle squares of the flip card.

I used wood grain Thickers to spell out the word FUN on the front.

Mother’s Day Card and Frame Gift Set

Hi, Renee here today to share a Mother’s Day Card and Frame Gift Set using the Jen Hadfield Everyday collection.  I used this photo of my girls in a Spring layout a few weeks ago.  I decided to include it in a gift for my mom since she doesn’t have this photo.  I love this photo so much and I know she will too.

The Layered Frames make a perfect gift!  I’m so happy I hoarded it for a special project.  😉  As I mentioned before, my mom has an amazing green thumb.  Since her garden always looks so pretty (and she loves the color green), I wanted to include lots of greenery and pretty flowers on this frame.

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial of how I put together the Layered Frames:

  1. I gathered the Layered Frames, Pretty Peonies and Tropical Delight pattern papers, and some adhesive.
  2. I added adhesive to the photo part of the frame and used a brayer tool to make sure my Tropical Delight pattern   paper was pressed flat against the frame.
  3. I trimmed the pattern paper using a craft knife and my Cutting Mat.
  4. I printed my photo to a 5″ x 7″, added adhesive, and trimmed around the frame again.
  5. I added adhesive to the 8 ¾” x 10 ¾” part of the frame and added the Pretty Peonies pattern paper to it.
  6. I centered my photo frame and adhered it to the base part of the frame.

It’s SO simple and looks SO cute!  To embellish my frame, I made a pretty paper flower:

  1. I gathered the Gemstones pattern paper, my Flower Punch Board, green cardstocks, and a gold circle stickers.
  2. I used both sides of the pattern paper to create the layers of this flower.  I layered two XXS (3″ dia.) flowers with one XS (4″ dia.) flower.  My two sets of leaves measure 2″ and 2 ½”.  You can see how I made some paper flowers using the Flower Punch Board here.
  3. I used a brad to attach all the flowers layers together with the larger leaves.
  4. I used my Mini Hot Glue Gun to adhere my flower and leaves to the frame.  All done!

My frame looks great!  Here’s the Mother’s Day card to go with my frame gift:

I made a simple window cutout style card.  Inside is a pretty flower for my Mama and we’ll write her a special note.

Mother's Day Card and Frame Gift Set by @reneezwirek using the #JHEveryday collection by @pebblesinc and @Tatertots and Jello .com

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial of how I put together the window cutout style card:

  1. My card base measures 5″ x 7″.  I trimmed a 4 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ piece of the Gemstones pattern paper and adhered a 2 ¼” x 4 7/8″ piece of the Pretty Peonies pattern paper along the bottom.  I added some Decorative Tape along top of the Pretty Peonies pattern paper.  I used the corner punch before adding it all to my card base.
  2. I punched a 3 ½” scalloped circle and then centered and adhered it to the top portion of my card.
  3. I used a 3″ circle template and my Cutting Mat to create my window cutout.
  4. I adhered a flower Die-Cut inside my card and made sure to center it so it can be seen through the window cutout.  I used the corner punch on my card base and I added a stamped sentiment to finish off the card.

Spring Watering Can Card made with the @pebblesinc Spring Fling collection created by @ribbonsandglue

Spring Watering Can Card

I don’t make as many handmade cards as I used to but when I sit down and actually make one, I really do enjoy it. I just love creating things out of pretty paper, adding layers then adding pretty embellishments. The Spring Fling collection is totally full of all that too!

Spring Watering Can Card made with the @pebblesinc Spring Fling collection and @silhouetteamerica

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out a watering can flower card cut file using off-white paper and Spring Fling patterned papers.

Spring Watering Can Card made with the @pebblesinc Spring Fling collection and @heidiswapp Minc foil

I mentioned before how I love adding pretty embellishments on to my cards, well the Spring Fling collection contains coordinating Heidi Swapp Minc Labels! I foiled the flowers with gold foil. So pretty!

After my flowers had gold accents, I layered them on to watering can card using foam squares for dimension.

Happy Winter Pebbles Inc Fans!  Holly here from Ribbons & Glue sharing a Coffee Cup Card to warm your heart.   Since Wintertime makes me want to drink more coffee, I was inspired by my love of the warm drink to create a Coffee Cup Card with a unique Peppermint Candy tag attached.

Coffee Cup Card made with @pebblesinc DIY Home collection and @silhouetteamerica created by @ribbonsandglue

Coffee Cup Card

Don’t you love it when you envision a craft project and it actually comes to life?   Like, my DIY  Peppermint Tag  I made with the We R Memory Keepers FUSE tool.   Looks exactly like what I had envisioned too.

Coffee Cup Card made with @pebblesinc DIY Home collection and @silhouetteamerica created by @ribbonsandglue

To make this Coffee Cup Card, I  used my Silhouette, a Coffee Cup to Go cut file and patterned paper from the DIY Home collection.

Fuse Tool to make a DIY Peppermint Tag

The Peppermint Tag is created with the  FUSE tool and page protectors.   I cut the shape of the tag out of the page protector,  used three sides together, filled up the tag up with crushed peppermints then fused the tag closed.  Super easy.

Peppermint Tag made with @pebbesinc Tags and @wermemorykeepers eyelet punch

I adhered a Pebbles Inc Gold Dipped Tag on to the Peppermint tag and used a We R Memory Keepers eyelet punch to attach both tags together.
