Happy Day with Becky Williams

Becky Williams here, guest designing for Pebbles! Today I have a couple projects to share that I made using the beautiful Pebbles Inc. collection, Happy Day.

This collection is a fun mix of florals, woodgrain, bicycles, crossword puzzles and pizza slices. How they managed to get that to go together I don’t know but it works! This collection is so diverse and cute.

The first thing I have to share is this card:

In the Happy Day collection is a photo garland kit. I used one of the cardstock frames from this kit, added some acrylic paint to the front and a piece of patterned paper to the back. I then wrapped the frame with twine included in the garland kit and added a couple of hearts to the right side, stapled in the center and folded toward the center to add dimension to the card. I then adhered this piece to my 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ cardbase.

For this layout I started with the “Sunday Paper” patterned paper as my base. I added stripes of acrylic paint to bring out the vibrant colors in the Happy Day collection.

After letting the paint dry I added a white cardstock diecut background. I filled some of the spaces with patterned paper and left others empty for journaling.

Here is a closer look at the hidden journaling areas:
I backed the white cardstock hearts from the background piece with various patterns from the collection. Just as I did on the card shown above, I stapled the hearts in the center, folded them toward the center staple and then added my journaling.
One of the fun additions to the Happy Day collection is this paper ribbon. I created a ruffled border along the bottom of my page with the blue floral ribbon, stapling it here and there. I finished off the page with my title using the woodgrain alpha Thickers.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Fun in the Sun with Becky Williams

Hello! Becky Williams here, guest designing for Pebbles! Today I’d like to share some projects that I created using the cute “Fun in the Sun” collection. This bright, cheery collection is perfect for scrapping sunny day memories, creating cute cards and for everyday projects.
First I will share with you some cards that I made using the diecut pack from “Fun in the Sun.” These diecut pieces allow for quick cardmaking so you can spend more time in the sun or hanging out with your loved ones I added some enamel dots, twine and bits of patterned paper for these quick cards:
My kids wanted to make some summer scrapbooks this year and I knew “Fun in the Sun” would be just the right thing to cover these basic notebooks. I used patterned paper for the covers, added some twine and diecuts and now they are ready for my girls to add pictures of summer adventures and write about some of the fun things we’ve done this year.
Last of all, I have a scrapbook page that I created:
For this page I started with a white cardstock base as I often do, trimmed that down just a bit and adhered it to this cute striped paper. I misted the white background, added strips of patterned paper from the “Fun in the Sun” collection, stickers and a couple of the adorable Thicker phrases. I added enamel dots to the flower centers to finish off the page.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hello! I am Becky Williams, and I am so happy to be a guest designer this month! I had a so much fun creating with the cute Home for Christmas line. I loved it so much that I made a handful of fun projects for the holidays! For my first project I created this layout:

I used the Santa’s Workshop paper to top my layout, including the tear strip at the bottom of the patterned paper. I added a tag and used one a cardstock note card from the Diecut Cardstock Shapes pack to add some journaling. I also draped a bit of Home For Christmas felt garland (this was my favorite part of the collection!) across the middle of the page and finished it off with a title using the Candy Cane Thickers. The “Christmas” was cut from a Chalkboard Envelope Seal.

I created a couple of quick cards using lots Diecut Cardstock Shapes:

I thought it would be fun to create some tree ornaments as well. I simply used some Silhouette ornament cut files and cut them out from some Home For Christmas papers, added some twine and gold ribbon and they are quick and easy addition to any holiday tree.

Lastly, I created this little gift bag from a craft bag and a bit of the felt garland. I added some dots of gold glitter glue and a “4U” using the Candy Cane Thickers.

Dad and the kids will love the adorable handmade Father’s Day cards that Designer Becky Williams created this year and you will too!
FATHER'S dAY
For my Father’s Day project I decided to try something out of my ordinary 12×12 box and created two simple cards made from shapes cut on my Silhouette Cameo. These cards would be great for the dad or other man in your life! I am so grateful for the father my husband is to my girls and can’t wait to share these cards with him on his special day.
