Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here to share some really fun Simple Life gift tags. The moment I laid eyes on the “Simple Life” collection, I fell in LOVE!! I grew up on a farm so the farmhouse feel reminds me of a warm and cozy home. Of course, I used lots of  supplies from the “Simple Life” collection and a couple of tools from our friends over at We R Memory Keepers.Spring Gifty Tags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #gifttags #simplelife

I started with a few scraps of patterned paper, some gorgeous patterned vellum and some stickers (clear and sentiment). I knew that I wanted to create the tags with the fun tag punch from We R Memory Keepers so I trimmed my paper into two inch strips.Spring Gifty Tags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #gifttags #simplelife

After I punched the tags, it was time to start putting the tags together and embellishing. I started by placing the clear flower vase stickers on white cardstock. I wanted the flowers to stand out against the patterned paper backgrounds. I added an additional strip of patterned paper to the back of the tag by a 3×4 piece of vellum. I used my corner chomper to round the corners on all of the layers. The finishing touch is the sentiment chalkboard sticker. I stapled them in place to add a little bit of texture to the tags. I LOVE how these tags turned out. I’m excited to have these tags on hand for sending a few spring gifts to friends and family.Spring Gifty Tags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #gifttags #simplelifeAll you need to do is grab your supplies to create these cute Simple Life gift tags. I can’t wait to see what you create! Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog. I’ll see you again soon!

Spring Treat Bags

Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here to share with you some cute little spring treat bags that I created with the Tealightful collection. I’m still awaiting the arrival of Spring in Idaho. It’s getting a little warmer but there is still a little bit of snow. Playing with this cute fun springy Tealightful collection made it feel like Spring was a little closer. These bags are SO easy and fun to make!Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYI started by cutting the base of the bags out of patterned paper using my electronic die cutting machine. I only used 3 pieces of patterned paper to create 3 treat bags. Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYAfter cutting the base of the bags and before I folded them and adhered them together I grabbed LOTS of embellishments from the Tealightful collection. I’ve found that adding embellishments is a lot easier if I adhere them before assembling the bag. Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYAfter adding embellishments to the front of the bags, I assembled them and tied them closed with a little bit of ribbon.  Aren’t they so cute?!?! I love how they turned out and how easy they came together! Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYThe pink bag is perfect for a Spring gift with the “hello spring” sentiment and the bee stickers. Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYHere’s another bag that’s perfect for Spring but more specifically, April and May. I was thrilled to find ribbon that coordinated with the cut little bird. I added a little bit of washi tape at the bottom of this bag just to add a little bit of pink to match the flowers.Spring Treat Bags by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #madewithPebbles #pebblesinc #springDIYLast but not least, the “here’s to new adventures” bag is not only perfect for Spring but it can be used for any occasion. I think this would be perfect for a graduation gift as well.

Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog. I hope these cute treat bags inspire you to make your own set of Spring treat bags.

Fussy Cut Floral Layout

Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. I’m so excited to share a layout with you that I created using bits and pieces from the Simple Life collection, the Warm & Cozy collection, and the DIY Home collection. This fussy cut floral layout is one of my favorites! Jen Hadfield’s collections are personal favorites of mine. I love all of them!!

I started by fussy cutting A LOT of flowers. I LOVE fussy cutting. It’s one of my favorite techniques. I watch for patterned papers that have elements I can fussy cut. Not only are fussy cut elements fun, they’re also a great way to make your scrapbooking budget stretch a little bit further. For the price of one piece of patterned paper you can often get dozens of fussy cut elements that are great for embellishing. I chose three patterned papers to fussy cut flowers from. I knew I wanted tons of flowers to cascade diagonally across my layout from the top left corner to the bottom right corner.

This  is actually a very budget friendly layout because I only used one piece of patterned paper on the background. I cut the paper into three pieces and adhered them back together on a piece of cardstock using both sides of the patterned paper.

I used lots of dimensional adhesive to adhere the flowers to the background of the layout. This step is optional but it makes a huge difference in the amount of texture on the layout.

I love the shadows that the flowers create!

I nestled my title and journaling under the photo, right next to the flowers.

I created a few different layers under the photo. I always want the focus of my layouts to be on the photo. By adding a few layers under the photo it draws the readers eye to the photo and makes it stand out against the floral embellishments.

I know fussy cutting can be a hot topic among scrapbookers. Which side of the fence are you on? Do you love fussy cutting? If you do, this may be a layout you’d like to scraplift. Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog. I’ll see you again soon!

Easy St. Patrick’s Day Gift

Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner (this Friday)! When I think of St. Patrick’s Day one of the first things I think of is 4 leaf clovers and rainbows. I wanted to create an easy St. Patrick’s Day gift that incorporated both of these things. I found THIS cut file and knew that it would work perfectly with some brand new Pebbles products.

This cute gift bag only requires a few supplies. I found an awesome rainbow plaid patterned paper, a green leaf patterned paper, and some well loved gold glitter Thickers.

After cutting the pieces for the St Patrick’s Day gift I assembled the box with strong adhesive. When I had the base of the box assembled I adhered the green four leaf clover to the front of the box using foam adhesive. Then, I added the “good luck” sentiment which will not only work for an easy St. Patrick’s Day gift but for an everyday “good luck” gift.  On the stem of the clover I added a bit of pink and white twine. I thought the bow added the perfect finishing touch!

When I added treats to the gift box, it was heavier than I expected. It’s filled with gold chocolate coins and skittles (because, you know, rainbows). To make sure that the box stayed together and the handle didn’t come off, I stapled the handle in place. This step is totally optional but may be a good choice if you’re filling the bag with lots of treats.

This easy St. Patrick’s Day gift came together within a matter of minutes. I can’t wait to share it with a friend who could use a little bit o’ luck on Friday. Happy St. Patrick’s Day my friends!

Tea Party Favors

Hey there Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. Today I have fun, easy tea party favors to share with you today. I created these tea party favors with the Tealightful collection and  with a few tools from our friends over at WE R Memory Keepers. These cute treat bag favors came together in a matter of minutes. I started by choosing 3 patterned papers from the Tealightful collection and trimming them into 7 inch squares. Then I cut them with the DIY Party Punch board using the directions that come with the punch board.

After I had the pieces cut for the base of the cone, I glued the cones together and got started on the embellishments for the front of the tea party favors. I cut two 1×12 inch strips of patterned paper for each cone. I scored the strips at every 1/2 inch, accordion folded them, glued the two strips together (end to end) to create a rosette for the front of each cone. I also cut three 1/2 x 6 inch strips for the handles. (I stapled the handles to the cones with a small stapler.)

I used one die cut and one sticker on the front of each rosette.

When you’re assembling the rosettes with the embellishments make sure to use a strong adhesive and let it dry completely before adhering them to the front of the cones.

These tea party favors turned out SO cute. They would be adorable filled with popcorn, candy, little cookies, or any other small treats.

These little tea party favor cones would also be adorable for a Spring party or a tea party themed birthday party. The options are endless when it comes to the DIY Party tool and the Tealightful collection. They’re both so versatile.

What would you fill these cute tea party favors with? Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog today. I’ll see you again soon!
