Kim Kesti whipped up all the goodies and trinkets you need for the perfect party. Read on to check it out!

Hello, friends! I am very excited to share a birthday ensemble I created with, of course, the new Pebbles Birthday Wishes collection. It was a happy day when I saw the first peeks of this new line. We are big fans of birthday parties around here, so this collection will get tons of use.

We've got you covered on everything birthday with this start-to-finish ensemble by @kimkesti using #PebblesInc collection #BirthdayWishes.

I went a little nuts with this ensemble, but I couldn’t resist all the cute elements. The party banner was simple to create; just staple your chipboard balloons on a piece of baker’s twine. This banner would be the perfect size for a cake, too!

The invitation could not be easier. I used one of the cards from the Cardmaking Pad (you can create multiples really quickly with this pad), and layered it with a Rosette and a few pieces from the chipboard shapes pack.

I think these glasses are my favorite! I decorated them with a strip of patterned paper, then tied on a cute tag with more baker’s twine. I can’t wait to fill these with lemonade!

And, no party is complete without a few favors for the guest to take home. I adore the confetti printed bags! They don’t need a whole lot of decoration, so I settled for a striped belly band and a stamped “thanks”. (Love the Thanks stamp – it stamps beautifully!)

I hope you have enjoyed my little party items. Our next party is for a dear friend’s 18th birthday! I think the kids will enjoy this set along with ice cream and sprinkles!

Bloom Hang Tag Banner

If today’s fun post doesn’t have you running out for a package of hang tag style embellishments we don’t know what will…Designer Samantha Taylor has created a fun bloom hang tag banner to decorate her home for spring!

Hang Tags

I am ready for spring, so I figured why not get my house ready for spring, too? I decided to make a spring-y banner from some picture frame hang tags and Garden Party.

Spring banner created by @samanthajt using @pebblesinc embellishments and paper #banner #craft #springI started by pulling the hang tags I wanted to use and filling them with patterned paper from Garden Party. As you can see, I decided to use the big hang tags for my banner, but I also layer a few of the small ones inside the big hang tags.

Next, I embellished the the tags and added my alphas to spell out “Bloom”. There are so many fantastic embellishments in Garden Party that I had a really hard time deciding which ones to use. In the end, I think I used a little bit of everything!

I always find deciding how to hang my banner to be the hardest part.  After some deliberation, I decided to thread some baker’s twine through the top of each tag.  Since I had already sealed my hang tags shut, I just threaded the twine on a needle and passed it through the fold of the tag.

Finally, I added some clothespins to the top of the hang tags to give them the illusion that they’re hanging on the twine from the clothes pin.

Now all I need to do is find a place to hang your banner and enjoy it!

Lucky Banner

We’ve got the luck o’ the Irish on our sides today, as Designer Wendy Sue Anderson showcases a fun framed banner featuring the Garden Party collection.

PB_GardenParty

Hi Pebbles friends!  Today I am sharing a fun and easy framed banner I made for St. Patrick’s Day.  You may recall the framed Halloween banner I shared here last year – well, I loved it so much that I decided to switch it out every season/holiday with a new, festive banner – and I couldn’t wait to use the new Garden Party line to create a fun, cheery banner this month.

Lucky Banner

I started by covering the background (which is foam core board) with a simple patterned paper.  I wrapped some pink washi tape around the edges.

Lucky Banner

Next, I cut the banner pieces by trimming five pieces of patterned paper to 3” wide and 3 ½” long and I cut a notch out of the bottom.

The next step was to add the little rainbow chevron strip of patterned paper across the top of each banner and punch holes in the sides of all of them.

I attached the banner flags to the background with foam adhesive dots, then added baker’s twine with clothes pins on either side to portray the image of the flags “hanging” up.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the shamrocks from green chevron paper.  I used some gold glitter glue to outline the edges.  After the glitter dried, I added Thickers to each shamrock to spell the word “lucky.”  Finally, I attached the shamrocks to each flag with more adhesive dots.

The result is a fun, festive banner that fits perfectly on my photo wall.  It’s appropriate for St. Patrick’s Day, but it’s a little non-traditional since I included pink as one of the main colors!

Looking for a fun photo prop for your Valentine’s Day shoot , or a pretty banner to hang on the mantel? You’ve got to check out the lovely banner Designer Candace Zentner created.

Valentine's Day

I love that banners are popular as props in portrait photography right now! Mostly because I love making banners and I love photography!! Since I frequently have photo shoots with my daughters, I thought the Yours Truly collection would work perfectly to create a fun banner to use as a prop.

Lovely Banner1

I used a simple die from Jaded Blossom to create each pennant in my banner and decorated each piece using stickers, tags, chipboard pieces as well as other fun elements in this collection.

Although this banner may look like it was rather involved to make, it was actually very quick! Since there is such a great variation of embellishments in this collection I found it very easy to make each pennant unique and pretty.

Lovely Banner5

I also had to share some of the pictures from the photo shoot with my daughter, so you can all see the banner in action!

The banner will also make a great piece of Valentine’s Day décor!
