Hello Pebbles peeps. Heather Leopard  here to show you a cute baby gift idea for documenting all those 12 month bundle of joy milestones. This is exactly what every new mommy needs, along with sleep. Am I right?

This is the gift that keeps giving!  Included in this is an album with a page for each month, a spot for a photo and journaling prompts. You can also include the Lullaby collection monthly stickers for the parents to apply to onesies. Simply pull out the sticker for that month, apply to the onesie, snap and print a photo of precious baby and voila!  You’ve documented the month and now your photo perfectly matches the mini album.  Easy breezy!

To begin:

Here’s what you need to get started…

  • patterned paper for mini album pages
  • patterned paper with the months pre-printed
  • Download the “about me” template I created for journaling (print on plain paper)
  • monthly labels

Choosing prints:

To get started, I used patterned paper printed with journaling cards for the cover.  I cut it to 6″ x 6″.  Of course that meant that the bottom was cut through half of the design. My easy solution was to add a paper strip to the bottom to cover that up.  I stitched it with my sewing machine before adhering it to the cover so the stitching would show through the back.  This also made a great spot to add the baby’s name.

Inside pages:

Next, I cut the inside pages.  I suggest you cut these slightly smaller than the cover so the edges of the pages don’t stick out when you fold it in half.

The monthly 2″ x 3″ patterned paper cards are perfect for this.  You can download the “about me” template I used HERE.

I used two pages for each month.  I included a spot for the month, about me and a place for a 4″ x 4″ photo. Here is the entire album:

You can see each of the pages above.  I also included a spot for when the baby is born on the inside cover as well as a gender reveal card and a pocket for additional notes.

And once this sweet little bundle of joy turns one, this is the perfect spot for a cake smashing photo!

So there you have it.  I can’t wait to gift this to my friend, who’s having her baby this month!  I hope she treasures it as much as I enjoyed making it for her.  Remember that you can include a set of onesies and monthly onesie stickers that match the album.  What do you think?

Hello everyone, it’s Eva Pizarro here today sharing a baby mini album made with the lovely Lullaby collection.

Record your little one's memories with this baby mini album made by @evapizarrov and @pebblesinc new collection #lullaby

In this collection, you will find baby boy and baby girl papers and embellishments.  Both color choices are perfect to record your little one’s memories. I particularly love the the cute animals and the polka dots thickers!

I made this baby mini album for a friend and also assembled a cardboard box to easier store the album and (maybe) some memorabilia inside.

The baby mini album has cardboard covers.  Everything is held together with a piece of coordinating ribbon. Inside, the mini album holds (10) 4″x6″ pictures.  On one side I left a photo space and on the other I placed journaling cards.

These small animals are the cutest! I cut them from one of the patterned papers.

I also used my electronic cutting machine to add words and embellishments. I love to mix fonts and used a die cuts in addition to thickers for my front cover (and some of the inside pages as well).

Here are more of the inside pages:

Hello Pebbles’ fans! Eva Pizarro on the blog today bringing you a tutorial for a quick accordion mini book. This little book is perfect for grandparents or family members and it’s very easy to make!

Make a quick accordion brag book with this tutorial from @evapizarrov and the new #lullaby collection by @pebblesinc #pebblesinc #madewithpebbles #minialbum

To make this mini album I mixed Pebbles’ newest lines: Lullaby and Simple Life, I think the wood hues and patterns of the Simple Life collection combine perfectly with the modern blues and yellows from the baby line.

To make the accordion mini album cut two 4 inch wide strips of paper and score them every 3 inches. Glue the two strips of paper to have a long accordion book.

The pages are very simple: I added the photo and then embellished with a number and a word sticker.

To make the mini album cover I used one of the 3×4 cards you can find in the patterned papers.

On the back I added a die cut and a long ribbon to close the mini album.

Baby Boy Lullaby Layout

Hello Friends! It’s Leanne here today and I am excited to share with you a layout from the Lullaby collection. I have focused on the traditional boy colours and have teamed them up with lots of floral, fussy cutting.

Document all your new born photos with the stunning new #lullabycollection from @PebblesInc and as shared by @leanne_allinson.

This collection is so beautiful with its subtle tones and gentle patterns. A perfect combination to document photos of newborns sleeping.

Within the Lullaby collection, the sweet ephemera die cuts quite captured my attention. I’ve layered them in three main clusters on my page to create a visual triangle.

In each cluster, I have added a bright yellow star to help draw the eye across the page.

I’ve then built up layers of patterned paper and cardstock to create a “bed” for my photo to rest on.

Among these layers I have trimmed down a 3×4 cut apart from the Baby Boy Quotes paper. Not only does the colour work with complimenting the photo, but the white space around the quote allows the eye to rest in an otherwise busy space. The height of the 3×4 card also creates a point of interest with its juxtaposition against the other papers which all lie in the same direction. For me, the 3×4 card subtly completes the “bed” by becoming the baby blanket lying on top of the layers.

The fussy cutting is used on this layout as a way to emphasis little details. I have used Lullaby Baby Boy Blossoms and cut out individual leaves and flowers as needed. When adhering them to the page, I applied a wet adhesive to the base of the stems, allowing the leaf or flower to lift up. Other elements, either die-cuts or fussy cut flowers, have been mounted on to foam tape for extra dimension.

Thanks for visiting today. I hope this collection has inspired you to document any newborn photos you have of your own children or those of friends. The newborn in this photo turns eight this year, but I am so glad to have gone into my archives to document the passage of time between now and then.

Hello, friends.  Heather Leopard is here with a special delivery today…a quick and easy DIY Baby room decor item, perfect for a baby’s room. It can also double as a gift wrap decor that can then later be used in the nursery.

DIY Baby Room Decor by @HeatherLeopard using the #Lullaby collection by @pebblesinc #baby

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

  • Embroidery Hoop
  • 12×12 patterned paper
  • die cut embellishments
  • Stickers
  • Liquid adhesive or glue dots
  • foam squares
  • sewing machine

DIY Baby Room Decor by @HeatherLeopard using the #Lullaby collection by @pebblesinc #baby

The first thing you’ll do is cut a circle just a bit larger than the inside of the embroidery hoop.  I simply took the hoop apart and traced along the outside. Once cut, attach to the back of the hoop. Trust me, this is the easiest route and also helps add dimension to the project.

Next, choose a few die cuts to make a banner.

Stitch them together using a sewing machine.

Position them across the top of the hoop.  Adhere the edges to the hoop.  Add foam dots to the back of the die cuts that are in the middle of the hoop.

Lastly, add the babies name to the open area of the hoop and embellish around the name as well as around the hoop to your liking. Now you have the perfect DIY baby room decor for your sweet bundle of joy!
