Hello! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, sharing this sparkly and simple DIY St. Patrick’s Day Wall Hanging. Two of the things I think of when I think about St. Patrick’s Day are all things green and gold. So those are the colors that I chose to work with for this project.

Green + Gold are the perfect St. Patrick's Day combination. @thehappyscraps shows us how easy this DIY wall hanging is using the #DIYhome & #Harvest collections from @pebblesinc.

I pulled out some gold sparkly supplies from the Jen Hadfield DIY Home Collection along with green paper from the Harvest Collection.

Using the chunky glittered chipboard words, I pulled out Home and Smile. These words had the letters in them that I needed for “me” and “I’m”. I cut home in half so I had “me” and cut the “i” and “m” from the smile.

I trimmed my gold woodgrain paper to 10″ x 12″ and cut the green paper to 8″ x 10″. I centered and mounted the green onto the woodgrain foiled paper.

I adhered the “me” and “I’m” to the paper and using the chunky gold glittered thickers, I spelled out “KISS” and “IRISH”.

Don’t you think the combination of the block letters with the curvy letters is perfect?

Using the gold foil with embossed dots paper, I punched out some tiny banner shapes and lined them up towards the bottom of the paper. I attached them to the paper in the shape that I liked.

Using some thin white twine, I tied a knot in both ends and adhered it to the top edge of all the little banner pieces.

Once I was finished, I added the art hanger to the top.

I’ve got it put up with the rest of my St. Patrick’s Day decor and I adore it!

Hello there, Amy from The Happy Scraps here today. I’m excited to show you how to make these cute little Mini Notebooks. They are the perfect thing to throw in your purse or a tote, making sure that you have something to write on if you need it. They would also make a great gift to give to a friend, and they are so quick to make!

I picked out a few supplies from the Jen Hadfield Everyday collection and grabbed my Cinch as well.

Using the Everyday collection 6×6 paper pad, I picked out the paper that I thought went well with the cards I cut out from the cut-outs with gold foil cardstock.

Check out the @pebblesinc blog to see just how easy these Mini Notebooks are to make. @Thehappyscraps shows us how.

I trimmed the cardstock down to 5 1/2″ x 4″ for the horizontal books and 5″ x 4 1/4″ for the vertical books, and then I cut a stack of white printer paper to be the same size. I also cut a piece of white cardstock to go on the back of the book.

Using the Cinch, I punched my holes.

I cut the wire binding to the size I needed, and put my paper on the wire. Then I used the back of the cinch to close the binding.

I attached my foiled cards to the front of the books. I wanted to use dimensional adhesive, but since I made these to be used in purses, I thought it would be better if they were flat.

I added some colored twine and the arrow to the bottom of the one on the far right to finish these up. I can’t wait to have one of these in my purse, it will be sure to brighten my day, any time I need to write something down.

Have you seen the Pebbles Be Mine Collection? Oh, it is SO adorable! Amy here from The Happy Scraps today, and I had SO much fun playing with this collection. So much pink and red goodness. Today I’m going to show you how to make this Be Mine Valentine Wreath.

@thehappyscraps created this cute Be Mine Valentine Wreath using the @pebblesinc #bemine collection. Click for the tutorial.

Collect all the Be Mine paper you’d like to use, along with the Valentine Minc Tags and the Be Mine red glittered thickers. I created my own wreath form out of chipboard, tracing a circle, then cutting it out.

Start by cutting several strips of paper to be 1″ x 4″.

@thehappyscraps created this cute Be Mine Valentine Wreath using the @pebblesinc #bemine collection. Click for the tutorial.

You’ll bend each strip of paper, placing it on your chipboard wreath form, and then use a stapler to secure it to it.

Continue all the way around your wreath form, then start on the second row, offsetting it slightly.

For mine, I ended up with three rows.

Because I wanted to cover the staples that were showing, I trimmed the extra chipboard out of the center, so I wouldn’t have as much area to cover.

@thehappyscraps created this cute Be Mine Valentine Wreath using the @pebblesinc #bemine collection. Click for the tutorial.

I got out my Sticky Thumb Cordless Glue Gun so I could attach some ric rac to the inner edge of the wreath.

I just put a little glue down at a time, and then placed the ric rac on it. I continued around the entire wreath doing this.

I pulled out the Valentine Minc Tags and the Minc Foil Applicator machine, along with some pink and silver foil.

I added the silver and pink to these tags, making it a perfect match to the Be Mine Collection.

@thehappyscraps created this cute Be Mine Valentine Wreath using the @pebblesinc #bemine collection. Click for the tutorial.

I attached both of the tags together using adhesive on the back, making sure that they would stay where I wanted them for the wreath. Using the red glittered thickers, I attached the words BE MINE.

Next I tied a baker’s twine bow to the top of each tag.

Using two strands of baker’s twine, I tied a bow and attached it to the wreath.

With the tails of the baker’s twine from the bow attached to the wreath, I turned over my foiled tags, and put some adhesive on each, then I placed the baker’s twine tails onto the adhesive.

It created the perfect way to hang the tags!

Hello. Amy here today from The Happy Scraps. I’m excited to be here today sharing these cards with you. I got out the brand new Spring Fling collection to put these together, and I think I’m hooked! The combination of the Kraft colors + the pink, yellow, green, white, etc., is just perfect! Today I’m sharing these cards with you that would be perfect for any party or celebration that you have coming up. Birthday, Wedding, etc., the Spring Fling collection is perfect.

The @pebblesinc #SpringFling collection is the perfect collection to help you celebrate any occasion. Here are several ideas from @thehappyscraps.

The entire Spring Fling collection is bursting at the seams with cuteness. I picked out some of the papers and embellishments that I thought I might use when I sat down to make these cards.

The @pebblesinc #SpringFling collection is the perfect collection to help you celebrate any occasion. Here are several ideas from @thehappyscraps.

I picked out the Scattered Daisies paper and used the back of it for the base of my first card. I also found the gold foiled flags in the pack of printed cardstock and vellum shapes. I pulled out some brown ink, and inked the edges of the white card base, as well as the pieces I was adding to the front.

I adhered the pretty back side of the Scattered Daisies to the front of my card.

I used some light colored twine and tied a bow on the top of this piece.

Then I attached it to the card.

I found this cute mason jar in the pack of printed cardstock and vellum shapes as well. I pulled out the Spring Fling Puffy Stickers and found a flower that matched. I placed it over the top of the printed flower to give it more dimension. Then I trimmed a couple of the flower leaves from the puffy stickers, to match the leaves as well. I attached this to the front of the pink polka dotted flag with some dimensional adhesive squares.

This is how the card turned out. It could be used to congratulate a newly wed couple, or given for a birthday card, or anything else that would be considered the “best day ever”. I love what the gold foil adds to this fun card!

For the next card, I picked out the Spring Fling Patchwork paper. I trimmed a piece for the front of my card, then inked the edges with brown ink.

Using one of the cards I cut from the Spring Fling paper with foil accents, I rounded the corners with my corner chomper. I inked the edges of this pretty cupcake card as well.

From the Spring Fling From Me to You paper, I cut out this “Happy Birthday” flag. I trimmed the end slightly so it would fit on my card.

I rounded the corners on one end of this, then inked the edges as well. I love how inking the edges can add just that little bit of extra to cards! While this card may be a little more simple, I think it is stunning. The gold foil on the base of the cupcake really adds to it as well. I can’t wait to give this to someone for their birthday!

For this last card, I had so much fun putting it together. I used the Spring Fling Party Time paper for the base, and Spring Fling Celebration for the smaller pink piece on the card. I inked the edges again for this one as well.

Simple DIY Glitter Decor

Hi friends! Happy New Year! It’s Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, and I’m excited to share this Simple DIY Glitter Decor that I put together to display in my craft room. We recently moved into a new home where I have a dedicated crafting space, so I was so excited to create this piece to hang in the craft room.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

What better word to hang in a creative space than “create”? You’ll just need a few supplies to create this project. The items pictured below from the Jen Hadfield DIY Home Collection, adhesive, and ribbon.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

Start out by trimming your Floral w/Gold Foil paper down to fit the size of the wood backing of the layered frames.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

Using the Sticky Thumb PVA Glue, spread a fair amount out on your frame backing. Use a foam brush to smooth out the glue, entirely covering the board.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

Place your paper on the board, and use a vinyl squeegee, credit card, or something similar to smooth the paper, making sure there aren’t any bubbles under it.

Next, trace the smaller decorative frame onto the Gold Foil Stripe paper. Only trace the outer edge, then cut it out.

Using the same gluing technique as above, glue the paper to the frame, covering the hole in the middle. Using some adhesive dots, attach your glittered “create” to the front of the frame.

Have you ever used a cordless glue gun? Talk about a life changer, this thing is amazing! Anyway, turn on your Sticky Thumb Cordless Glue Gun, and let it warm up. Once warm, use it to attach the gold decorated frame to the frame backing.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

Choose some ribbon that goes with your project, and using the glue gun, attach it to the top corners on the back, then tie your ribbon.

Add bling to your creative space with this glittered "Create" decor with the tutorial from @thehappyscraps on the @pebblesinc blog using the #diyhome collection.

Isn’t this such a fun and pretty piece for any creative space? Whether you have a whole room, or just a corner in a room in your home, this is perfect to hang in the space.

And isn’t the glitter on the word “create” just perfect? There was no glitter mess needed to create it either. 😉
