Hello Pebbles fans! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, and I’m so excited to be sharing a quick teacher gift with you today. Teacher gifts are some of my very favorite things to put together. I love to spoil those that teach my children. The thing about teacher gifts, is that they don’t have to be anything big, they can be something small, just letting the teacher know they are appreciated.
I decided I wanted to put together a couple of little treat holders. You could make a home made treat or grab a store bought treat, but I personally don’t think that the treat needs to be big. Teachers receive a lot of gifts, and if every student in their class gave them a whole box of cookies, they’d have cookies to last them quite some time. I gathered up a few supplies from the Jen Hadfield Everyday collection.
I love these little Foiled Gift Boxes. They are ready to be used in no time. You unfold it, and then peel the tape backing and stick the box together. Then all you need to do is fold in the flaps.
Before I folded in the top of the box, I put my cookies in there.
I folded the box shut, and was ready to embellish it.
I cut one of the triangle strips off of the Everyday Angled Tiles paper.
I wrapped it around the box, and secured it on the back.
I took the “thanks” tag from the Gold Foil Words Tags and tied it around the box. Have your child write a little heart felt note on the back, telling the teacher how much they are appreciated.
See, wasn’t that quick? That takes care of one of the Teacher Gifts with a treat. Now let me show you the second one. I really adore the way this one turned out!
I trimmed a piece of the Angled Tiles paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad. I spelled out the word YOU with the chunky gold glittered foam thickers and placed them on the paper.
After trimming the “Make The World A Better Place” tag down to the size I wanted, I used adhesive to attach the two of these together.
I placed the tag on the top of my bag with two cookies in it, then grabbed some baker’s twine and wrapped it around and tied it in a bow.
Don’t you think this makes the perfect little quick gift for a teacher? Those glittered thickers are sure to make anything more fun though, right?
So grab your supplies and put together these simple teacher gifts to let them know you’re thankful for all their hard work this year.
