Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today showing you how to create a quick and easy layout in just a few minutes using the new line Along the Way.
This new line is absolutely amazing, the colors are great and you can use it for girly layouts or scrap your everyday memories. The small golden alphas are one of my favorite embellishments, they are the perfect size for planners, minis or layouts.
To create this project I started by layering the foundations of my layout. I added a piece of paper in the middle of my page and a strip at the bottom. Tip: I always use my Square Guide to make sure my papers are perfectly aligned.
Next, I added a few flowers on the opposites sides of my paper. Here’s another tip: Cut your die cut in half, and put just the tip behind your paper!
After that, I used my Stitch Happy to create a border for my layout and picked a few 2×2 inch squares from this lovely patterned paper.
I trimmed some 2×4 inch papers and scored them in half using my Mini Score Board. Next, I added the pictures on top.
The pictures open and I added a few sentiments about each one of my family members. To keep the pictures in place I used a few Word Stickers.
Finally, I added my title using the gorgeous golden thickers and a few 3d embellishments to give a bit more dimension.
And here’s the finished layout, the 2×2 squares really help me embellish quickly! Just a few clusters on each side of the page to add that finishing touch!
This collection is truly a must-have! What would you use it for? I am thinking my next project is going to be a mini album!
Have a great day!
