Kitchen Card

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new project to share using a variety of Jen Hadfield collections. I made this card for my mom using bits and pieces from 3 different collections (Chasing Adventure, Warm & Cozy, & Along the Way).

This was such a fun card to make. I used a cut file from Lori Whitlock. It turned out so cute, I gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day!

I was inspired by all the pretty photos Jen posts on her Instagram account. I want that wallpaper in my house!

These little photo frames from the Along the Way collection were just perfect for this!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cooking Layout ft Along the Way

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today showing you how to create a Cooking Layout using supplies from the Along The Way line.

The Along the Way collection by @pebblesinc is perfect to record your recipes and cooking adventures! PC: @evapizarrov

My husband is from Italy and his family has many cooking traditions, one of them is making “Passata” or tomato sauce and “antipasto” that are vegetables cooked on tomato sauce. Every year we spend 1 or 2 whole days making preserves for the winter. This year we cooked more than 180 lbs of tomatoes! we were exhausted but it was totally worth it!

To create this layout I began with the cut file “The secret ingredient is always love”, because I thought it was perfect to document this memory, and backed the letters with the lovely papers from the Along The Way line.

Once I was done with my title I added my picture.

The final step was adding embellishments. I used a mix of stickers and die cuts and created two clusters on top and on the bottom of the layout.

I even included some fruit stickers to my clusters and a spoon with a paper strap attached to my picture.

This layout was very easy and quick! I love documenting our family traditions, do you scrapbook some of yours?

Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a great weekend!

Capturing life along the way with Guest, Natalie

Hi friends! I am Natalie Dill and I’m THRILLED to be guest designing for Pebbles today!

I used the lovely new collection from Jen Hadfield called Along the Way to create this 8.5×11 layout about my sweet puppy girl.

@scrappinhappy we love all the elements you added to this darling page featuring your fur baby! Thanks for being a guest at @pebblesinc!

The base kraft paper is actually from the Pebbles Cozy & Bright 12×12 paper pad. I sewed it to a white background paper using a zig zag border stitch. The 6×8 Along the Way patterned paper pad is perfection when creating an 8.5×11 layout! Cutting lengths of the patterned paper down the 8 inch side in different widths built my middle layer strip. I used a lacy paper punch for the border strip on that yummy pink piece, and I popped up my photo with some adhesive foam for added dimension.

@scrappinhappy we love all the elements you added to this darling page featuring your fur baby! Thanks for being a guest at @pebblesinc!

I picked some of my favorite ephemera pieces from the icon and phrases packs to embellish, and I chose pieces with black on each to tie them together from top to bottom.

@scrappinhappy we love all the elements you added to this darling page featuring your fur baby! Thanks for being a guest at @pebblesinc!

I love allowing a bit of the die cut to come off the page. It will stick out the protector a bit, but adds great interest! I used some gold and black sprays for splatter and a gold wax seal for mixed media embellishing.

@scrappinhappy we love all the elements you added to this darling page featuring your fur baby! Thanks for being a guest at @pebblesinc!

I loved using this soft, homey collection to document my dog in her napping element. The sentiments are great for documenting your home life and cozy moments!

Thanks for having me, Pebbles!

Along The Way polaroids from Eileen!

A very Happy New Year, pretty Pebbles people! I´m Eileen E. Darling, here on this day as a guest designer before the design team for 2019 take their turn. Maybe, including me!?

Before that happens, I´d like to show you a really easy way to create paper polaroids you can give to your Lovelies as a gift/lucky charm. To recraft them, you don´t even need that much! – just some pretty paper sheets, stickers, embellishments, a roller stamp, black ink +  a Trim/Score Board, Frame Punch Board, and of course a scissor and some tape – every passionate crafter owns!

I´ve used the collection Along The Way that comes with matching die-cuts, epoxy stickers, phrase stickers, thickers and the roller phrase/date stamp Dear Lizzy by American Crafts. Let’s start & celebrate the crafting!

Step 1: trim the chosen 12×12 papers to 2 1/2 x 3 3/4. The result are 12 various paper pieces.

Step 2: use half of them–only 6 of the paper pieces on the Frame Punch Board to create paper polaroids, because the other 6 are the backgrounds for the die-cuts (girls & flower pots).

a – on the left you measure .25, on the right it´s also .25, punch the paper, then turn the paper to the other side and punch again.

b – on the left you measure 1, on the right it´s .25, then turn the paper to the other side and punch again.

c – measure 1, use the blade to cut the paper with the large side along the line, then measure .25, move the  paper to the right direction and cut again.

Repeat this two times until the middle is falling out and a real paper polaroid shows up. (If you need more help, please follow the official instructions of the Frame Punch Board.)

Step 3: stamp a “2019” on the right top at the paper polaroids with the flower pots.

Step 4: cut off the legs of the girls – I know it sounds and looks mean, but they´re way too long to fit in this polaroid.

Step 5: use tape to put the polaroid frames including the backs, the girls and flower pots.

Be sure to check out these darling polaroids, complete with @pebblesinc papers and @wermemorykeepers tools to get the job done right

Step 6: place the “2019” thickers, phrase stickers and epoxy stickers at the almost finished paper polaroids. (Other drops, dots, sequins can be also used.)

If you´re done, you have sweet six new year´s gifts. I hope, that you feel this inspired to recreate the polaroids and that I´ll get the chance to be back here again, but for now I´m wishing YOU a wonderful year full of happines, healthiness, luck & lots of

Love

Eileen

Rainbow Layers with Terhi

Hey there lovely Pebbles Fans! Terhi Koskinen here, wishing you the most wonderful year of 2019 and inspiring you with the lovely colors of a rainbow.

When I was going through both of the Pebbles collections revealed last fall, My Bright Life and Along the Way, I noticed how beautifully the colors of them joined together. That gave me an idea, why not to embrace the colors and create a rainbow layout!

To make sure all of the colors and patterns would be visible on the layout, I first thought about some kind of grid design. But when I was setting up my camera to film a process video, I saw the papers on the table the way I could see a little stripe of each and that really inspired me, definitely wanted to move that design to the layout.

And as you can see, all of the patterns really ended up to the layout! It was quite tricky to squeeze them all in, but I managed. As the edges of the layout are very layered, I balanced the look by leaving the photograph alone.

The same balancing theme was in my mind when I finished the layout with watercolors, I didn’t want to leave the edges all alone but again not to fill them up too much.

Hope you’ll have fun watching the video! If you any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
