Hello, Pebbles’ fans! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing a quick tutorial on how to create a cute shadow box card with Pebbles’ new line Lovely Moments.

Shadow box cards are super cute and easy to make! @evapizarrov crate this one with the Lovely Moments line from @pebblesinc

Shadow box cards are very easy to make and I am sure everyone will love them! You can make them bigger but I love this small scale card!

To create the card start by cutting the pieces for the base. You will need to cut 2 pieces 3-inch x 3,5 inch and 1 piece 8,25-inch x 3.

Score the two small pieces at 0,25 inch and 3,25 inch and score the bigger piece at the 3, 4, 7 and 8-inch marks.

Use your Revolution Advanced (or a punch) to create the windows on each panel. You can use any shape you want: square, circle or even a heart!

Next, attach the panels to the side of the card using double-sided tape. Don’t glue the entire card or it would be hard to place the embellishments!

This is the fun part! Use die cuts and stickers to embellish each panel od the card. Work one at a time making sure only you don’t cover the entire image on the back.

Once you are done, glue the panels to the other side of the card. The easiest way to do this is to remove the plastic of the tape and flatten the card.

The card wouldn’t be completed without a cute envelope!

Look at all the layers of the card! You can add as many as you want! Easy right? I hope you give shadow box cards a try!

Male Layout with Terhi | Video Tutorial

Hey there Pebbles Friends!
Terhi here again with you, sharing a scrapbook layout made with the new Hey, Hello collection. There’s also a creation process video for you to watch.
First, let me tell you something about the process.

Have you ever really thought about masculine scrapbook layouts? Do you think all pages about boys or men should be blue, green, brown… All dark colors and maybe couple images about trucks, cars or sports?
I started to create “male layout”, but after a short consideration I decided on keeping my style, keeping my favorite colors and products and just let my hands free!
Scrapbooking has no rules, and the page needs to do is telling the story forward.

The starting point for the page was the photograph: My husband enjoying fishing and endless summer night. The story includes some fish, but also lots of nature, beautiful sunset but mostly happiness about feeling good.
Therefore I created a fishing net kind of a design, using eyelets and embroidery threads. Then, I added photos and embellishments on and under the threads.
Take a look to the video below.

Hope you are inspired!

How to create simple and interesting background for a scrapbook page

Hello Pebbles Fans!
It’s Terhi here. I’m very excited to share you my first scrapbook page featuring Pebbles new line called Lovely Moments. This line is amazingly beautiful and perfect to document your Valentine’s Day memories!
I created a simple and quick background for this page and I want to share how it was done. It would work so well on cards or other paper craft projects, so prepare yourself to be inspired!

Seeing all the patterned papers from Lovely Moments made me want to use them right away, but obviously adding several prints on one layout might steal attention from the photograph and the story behind it. But with this simple trick you actually can add them all on your project and still receive calm and harmony result.
So what I did was that I cut the bottom strips away from each 12″ x 12″ paper and attached them on a white cardstock with a sewing machine to create a pretty background for my layout.
The simplest and most clever idea I’ve had for ages!

To make more interest to the background design, I didn’t use anything to align the strips. No adhesives, nothing. This way they all are a bit differently set up and some even on top of each other.
Once I was finished with the sewing, I torn and ripped the strips from here and there to add dimension.

Before attaching the photograph I fussy cut some beautiful blooms and flowers from patterned papers. There are so many to choose from!
To repeat the thread from the background and also to highlight the bond between my daughter and the wonderful and kind pony she loves, I wrapped some golden thread around the photograph. This makes such fun and important detail to the layout.

Lovely Moments Ephemera Phrase pack is full of fantastic die cuts to use as titles or sentiments! I chose ‘Lucky in Love’ for this layout mostly because the horseshoe which matches the story perfectly. The pony really is her Valentine!

There are some very delicate golden drops of mist here and there around the design. I love adding a bit of something extra to each of my scrapbook pages and shimmering gold mist works so well together with the colors and products of Lovely Moments.

Have you ever used the bottom strips from patterned papers or do you throw them away? Do you document your Valentine’s Day? I hope you are inspired!
Have fun creating!

Valentine’s Day LOVE Banner

The countdown to Valentine’s Day is on – have you started decorating yet? It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a quick and easy banner I created to add a little love to our home!

Valentine's Day HEART banner by Wendy Sue Anderson for @PebblesInc.

You can make this banner too – it’s easy! Here’s how:

Start by cutting several hearts in two sizes. You can cut these by hand, with a digital machine, or even with metal dies if you have them. The smaller heart I used has scallops around the edges – but this is totally optional. You’ll also need to gather some letters to spell “LOVE” on each heart. I used a variety of stickers and die-cut words. **NOTE: I mostly used papers and stickers from the “Peek-A-Boo-You” collection for baby girls – I love the soft colors for this Valentine’s Day project!

Layer the small heart onto the larger heart. Use a sewing machine to stitch around the edges if desired (of course I love the softness a bit of stitching adds).

Next, add the stickers to the center to spell out “LOVE” (or if you prefer to mix up the phrases, like conversation hearts, that’s fun too).

At this point, you can also add additional stickers or embellishments to some of the hearts if you desire!

After the hearts are completed, you need to punch holes to string them together. I like to use my Crop-o-dile punch so I can punch several at a time.

Stack them up, and punch away!

Choose your favorite ribbon or twine to string the hearts together

Now hang it up…and feel the love! I hope I’ve inspired you to create something fun to decorate your home for the big LOVE day coming up!
