Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. I wanted to share a DIY Spring Easter basket idea that you can create with beautiful pattern papers from the Pebbles Hey, Hello collection. I am using the Easter Egg Hunt digital cut file from SVGcuts. There are lots of gorgeous floral papers perfect for Spring to choose come.

This would be a perfect craft to do with your children while they are home. Pick a favorite color cardstock and floral pattern paper combination, like this pretty teal floral with eggs from the Hey, Hello collection.

Or a pretty pink …

Tie some raffia ribbon to the handle for a feminine touch.

Or is blue your favorite color? I love the little birds and flower pattern on this beautiful paper.

Which floral pattern would you choose? Wishing you all health and safety in these trying times.

Supplies:

Do you know the quickest way to win an 8 year old’s heart? Three words – King Size Candybar. That they: don’t. have. to. share. 😉 Hi Friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a quick and easy birthday treat idea you can whip up in no time at all!

Quick and Easy Birthday treat project by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Happy Cake Day" collection by @PebblesInc.

Whether you’re creating party favors, neighbor treats, special gifts for a class or team, or some fun “just because” treats, these quick and easy candy bar wraps are the perfect solution! Here’s a quick tutorial, just to demonstrate how easy they are to make! Start by cutting the wrapper from patterned paper (I used the “Happy Cake Day” collection for this project).

I used cut file # 44645 from the Silhouette store, but I had to resize it to fit the larger candy bars. After the wrapper is cut, fold along all the score lines.

Use a strong adhesive to secure the wrapper and slide in the candy bar.
(If you don’t have an electronic die cutting machine, you could also trim the paper and simple wrap around the candy. )

Use a pre-made white shipping tag or create your own simple white tag shape to fit over the front of the candy bar (approximately 2 1/2″ x 5″). Use foam adhesive square or other adhesive to add a printed die-cuts or two to the front of the tag.

Print a sentiment or greeting onto white cardstock. Cut into strips and notch on the right end. Punch a hole in the left end. Add this piece to the front of the tag, aligning the holes.

Now attach this entire piece to the front of the candy wrap – I like to use foam adhesive squares here too!

Next, tie a piece of colorful coordinating ribbon around the entire piece and tie through the tag holes on the front.

Now repeat the process as many times as you need – it’s quick and easy, and it’s sure to be a hit with the recipient!!

Happy Cake Day Party Favors

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today with my first post using the fun Happy Cake Day collection. I love making party favors. They can really help to create a festive vibe at your party. Instead of making just a couple cake boxes, I made an entire cake! Best of all, they can be displayed on a cake plate just like a real cake.

I made a combination of chocolate and strawberry cake boxes using several different pattern papers for my frosting. Some pretty rosette ribbon looks just like piped frosting along the edge of my cake.

You can decorate the boxes with stickers or die cut ephemera pieces like I did here.

The tops of the cake boxes come off to reveal a nice sized space for treats.

Each cake box also has it’s own candle. A little bit of yellow stickles gives them a warm glow.

Wouldn’t you love to receive one of these cake box party favors when you attend your next birthday party! You can find the cut file at SVGcuts, It’s called B is For Birthday.  Be sure to check out the Happy Cake Day collection for your families birthdays.

Supplies:

Halloween Party Fun

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. I love throwing Halloween parties. It’s fun to decorate the house and invite people over whether its a pumpkin carving party or a Halloween costume party. Of course, part of the fun is creating some party favors to help set the mood. Here is what I came up with using the This is Family collection that Jen Hadfield designed …

Even though this collection is not Halloween based, the colors of the pattern papers have a Fall air about them and I had no problems making them work. The kids will get a kick out of these pumpkin treat bags. I used a svg cut file from SVGcuts called Barn Party. These treat bags could be filled with candy or even popcorn. A clear acetate sheet let’s you see just what treats are inside.

I also spray painted the outside of some pint sized mason jars to look like candy corn. A trick here to prevent overspray is to wrap some scrap paper around the jar and affix with a rubber binder. I spray painted my jars with the opening face down to prevent getting any paint inside the jar.

Once the paint was dry I cut faces from black vinyl to adhere to them.

Box cards make great table decor on your buffet table. This Jack-In-The-Box black cat isn’t too scary. I have a couple of black cats that I took in as strays so it was hard to resist making this one. This svg cut file is also from SVGcuts and is called Halloween Box Cards. It does fold flat in case you wanted to mail it.

I hope this gives you some ideas if you are planning on throwing a Halloween party. This Is Family papers and embellishments are sold through American Crafts. You can also get the This Is Family collection at JoAnn Fabric Stores!

Well, hello friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today and I’m planning a fun little girl’s night next weekend, and what’s a party without fun little take-home gifts? I love filling cute little boxes with some of my favorite things (lip gloss, lotion, chocolate truffles, etc.) for my bff’s – and it’s so much fun to wrap them up differently every time! This time, I used a fun cut file (#294809 in the Silhouette Store) and products from the “This is Family” collection. I think they are pretty, and they were super easy to create! Keep reading for the details!

I started by cutting the shape from several papers – I’ll walk you through the entire process below!

First, cut it out:

Next, fold gently along the scored lines for the box ends and add adhesive to the handle.

Glue the handles together and fold the ends.

Choose coordinating washi tape and wrap all around the middle to keep the ends securely closed (be sure to put the treats inside BEFORE taping it shut)!

Now add a coordinating printed die-cut on top of the washi.

Create a layered tag by cutting the printed tags from the page, then cutting an additional tag shape from a coordinating paper. Punch a 1/2″ circle and cut one of the sides off.

Layer the pieces together and glue.

Use a smaller hole punch to punch through the pink circle portion.
