Things I love Layout

Hello everyone, it’s Eva on the blog today, sharing a tutorial for a quick layout about the things I am loving right now.

Sometimes, I am so busy documenting our big life events and the members of my family that I forget to scrap about myself!

This layout is quick and easy and I love that I can record the little things I am loving during this special time in my life.

To create this layout, I cut hearts with my Heart Punch and my favorite papers from the Hey, Hello Line.

I place them on my cardstock base and glued some with 3d dots. I also added my title with this gorgeous Thickers! I love the tiny dots and pink edge.

Next, I used a piercer to create small holes and stitched the lines with embroidery thread. I used a chain stitch, it is more time consuming but definitely worth it!

Finally, I added my journaling and little stickers and die cuts.

I added my journaling with 3d dots and I love the look! Plus, I like that I could use many of these cute patterned papers.

Have you made a layout about you lately?

Thanks for joining me today! have a great day
Eva

About me – Terhi

Hello everyone, It’s Terhi Koskinen here!
I have been up here for many times before, but as we have just started a new term with my lovely three team mates, why not to share something about myself. Oh, and don’t worry, not going to get you bored by telling all about my shoe size or full length life story, I only want to share some things about my creative life so far.

I have been scrapbooking for over ten years and started the journey by seeing some scrapbook albums made by a friend of mine. As I’m a lover of photographing and I couldn’t imagine my life without creating things with my hands, I was hooked from the day one. The lovely friend of mine let me borrow her papers and stamps, and told me how to start and where to purchase my own stuff. I’ll be forever grateful for her, as her help and advice as given me not only beautiful albums full of our family life, but also countless opportunities to see the world, make new friends, and even lead to me to study new profession!

Talking about profession, last year was the toughest of my life so far. Struggles with health, home and work gave me an idea about to do something I would actually love and be passioned about as my work, to support my mental health and happier life. Uniting my career with technology to my creative mind lead me to dream about graphic designing.
Now I’m studying like never before and couldn’t be more excited about the choice I made!

When I’m not reading or practicing, I’m making cute things like this mini album here. This one is made as a small birthday present for my eldest daughter. She turns twelve in just few weeks and she lives for horses – just as her mother has always lived! The mini book is all about her pony and what they discovered last summer.

Mini albums are one of my favorite craft to make, as I can create one about years long adventures or add only couple photos telling a story about one single moment in life. Also, you can add much more pretty embellishments into a mini book than to scrapbook layouts. But I do love creating layouts, too!

Here I created the album with Hey, Hello project pad and other embellishments. I made the covers with thick cardstock covered with patterned paper. The made the simplest photo cards by attaching patterned papers behind each photo I added to the book. I kept the photos clear from embellishments and added everything to the other side, together with a phrase sticker matching to the theme.

In addition to my daughter I talked before, our family includes another sweet girl aged nine and a handsome man I could “hubs”. There are two furry friends here, too, couple of cavalier King Charles spaniels.

We live in a small house and sadly I don’t have a huge room for my scrapbooking supplies. Instead, half of our living room is my creative space and quite often our family has to eat somewhere else as the kitchen table is occupied with my scraps, tools and machines.

My dream is to share the word of memory keeping to the whole world and encourage everyone to make something with their hands. I also dream about traveling to US, to see the people and places who has started the scrapbooking in the first place.

I hope you are inspired about work! Please come to visit at my blog and social media, and we will meet also here at Pebbles blog many times in the future, too!

Thank you for reading this far!
Keep on crafting!

Nothing But Love

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. When asked to do a monochromatic project, my first thought was to fussy cut out a bunch of pink flowers from one of the beautiful floral pattern papers Pebbles is so known for. I had many options to pick from but ended up selecting a pattern paper from the Lovely Moments collection. I liked that there were three different pink flowers in this pattern that could easily be fussy cut out. I also wanted a simple background so my flowers would get all the attention. This black and white polka dot was perfect.

Underneath the fussy cut flowers I placed stems and leaves cut from a white cardstock. Partial flowers can be tucked behind a photo. The floral clusters that were intact were placed over my photo using some foam adhesive to give dimension. You can see I also added some flower stickers and puffy dots to the background.

I created my title by combining the “Nothing But” phrase Thickers with the larger “LOVE” Thickers, arranging them along the top of my photo and then down the side. I like how the two font sizes add interest.

In the die cut phrase ephemera pack I found this card, “I’m so glad I found you”. I thought it was appropriate for my layout. My daughter found her dog Nana at the Humane Society and she fell in love with her! I upped the cuteness factor by adding this adorable bunny as well.

I love how soft and feminine this layout turned out. Take another look at your floral pattern papers and give fussy cutting a try. I think you will be happy with the results too.

Hello Pebbles friends!! It’s Wendy Sue back today, sharing a quick and easy card set featuring a monochromatic theme! It’s been a long time since I’ve attempted a monochromatic project, and I’d forgotten how much fun it is! There were many colors I could have chosen – so many gorgeous options from so many awesome Pebbles collections – but ultimately, I settled on the beautiful pink/coral color from the “This is Family” collection.

I loved flipping through the gorgeous paper stack, choosing matching colors and mixing fun patterns. Then, digging through my big glass jar filled with buttons, I was able to find the perfect accents for my card set. It was fun and easy, and after I chose the supplies, the cards came together so easily! Here’s what you’ll need for each card:

And here’s the easy process of assembling all the pieces:
Start with the blank card base, add the largest blog of patterned paper, then place the diagonally cut piece on top, lining up the edges.

Hush Little Baby

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new layout to share using the Peek A Boo You Girl collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. Our theme this week is monochromatic. I’ve always loved doing these types of layouts. I love how soft they look.

I used various shades of pink on my layout. I cut out the cut file in white to add some contrast.

The embellishments in this collection are so sweet. I just added a few so that it wouldn’t be too busy with my background.

I can’t believe this sweet girl is already 16, seems like yesterday she was this little.

Thanks for stopping by!
