Hello Pebbles Friends!  Renee here today to share a couple of Happy Day, Happy Wishes Gatefold Birthday Cards using the Jen Hadfield Heart of Home collection.  These gatefold birthday cards have small pockets inside to add a gift card.  Even though I created these cards for the summer birthdays that are to come, these gatefold birthday cards are great to give at any season.

To create the gatefold birthday cards, I simply trimmed pink cardstock to 6″ x 12″.  I scored at the 3″ and 9″ lines and folded my cards.

I decorated my gatefold birthday cards by trimming the Gatherings and Wild Daisies pattern papers to 2 ¾” x 5 ¾” (two pieces) and 5 ¾” x 5 ¾”.

To embellish the front of my gatefold birthday cards, I used circle and scalloped circle punches to add paper layers underneath my flower and butterfly die-cuts.

I used the reverse side of the Gatherings pattern paper under the flower die-cut and the reverse side of the Wild Daisies pattern paper under the butterfly die-cut along with white cardstock.

I love the flower die-cut on this “Happy Day” gatefold birthday card!  I stamped the sentiment on a pretty label sticker.

On my “Happy Wishes” gatefold birthday card, I added a pretty gold-foiled butterfly die-cut.

Quick and Easy Cards Featuring Girl Squad

Good morning, Pebbles friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a few quick and easy cards I whipped up with the brand new “Girl Squad” collection.  Before I share my cards, I have to say that this is one of my favorite Pebbles collections yet; the colors and patterns are so modern and happy!!  I had so many fun ideas swirling around in my head when I opened the package with these adorable products, but I settled on making something I’m always (always, always, always) needing – birthday cards!  These patterns and colors are perfect for any girl – young or old(er)! 😉  The mix of bold patterns really makes for a unique card – nothing like you can buy in the store – which is what handmade cards are all about, right?  Here’s a look at the cards I whipped up.  OH, and I decorated the white envelopes to coordinate as well!  Check them out:Create these quick and easy cards and coordinating envelopes by @WendySue (@WendySueA) with the "Girl Squad" collection from @PebblesInc.

And they truly live up to the blog title – quick and easy!  Here’s how to make it yourself:

First, start by cutting various patterned pieces (these are from the 6×6 paper pad).  The base should be 4″ x 5 1/4.”  The pink dotted paper is 4″ x 3″ and the black gingham is actually from one of the tear strips, trimmed down to 4″ wide.  The striped paper is was cut into a half-circle shape and is 4″ wide along the flat edge.

After these pieces have been cut, assemble them like this:

Next, tie white twine around the card:

Now you’ll want to gather stickers, puffy stickers, ephemera, etc.

Use them to embellish the circle. I used foam adhesive behind the die-cut pieces for a little bit of dimension.

Adding a sentiment is the next step.  You can use digital die-cut shapes, metal dies, stickers, etc. to add a sentiment.

That completes the card front!  Finally, place this entire piece on a white card base (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)

If you want to create a fun coordinating envelope, pull out some washi tape (this is from the Sunshiny Days collection) and stickers or die-cuts.

Just add a strip of tape and a few embellishments!  Super cute and easy, right?

Finally, here’s a look at the complete set:

And while you’re at it, you should probably whip up at least one more of these quick and easy cards with coordinating envelopes!

1 Year Mini Album

Hello, Renee here today to share a 1 Year mini album using the Lullaby collection.  Oh, how I love this sweet baby collection and creating this mini album gave me the opportunity to combine both the boy and girl lines.  Payton turned double digits this past St. Patrick’s Day!  I cannot believe it’s been 10 years since she joined and completed our family.  I looked through some older studio portraits and found a bunch from her first birthday.  I had to grab some of my favorites to make a mini album.  I used a couple of 5″ x 7″ along with some 2 ½” x 3 ½” photos for this 6″ x 8″ album.

This is my favorite page from Payton’s 1 Year mini album!  Who said that Glassine Paper was just for treat bags and envelopes?  I adhered two glassine papers back to back and trimmed it down to 5 ½” x 8″.  I added a pretty punched edge and embellished it with adorable Die-Cuts and enamel dots.  I used the We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board and the Baby Girl Quotes pattern paper to create a 2 ¼” x 3 ½” photo frame.  Adorable!

I used my We R Memory Keepers Cinch Book Binding Tool with Square Holes to finish off my album.  The instructions were simple to follow making the mini album easy to make.

  1. I gathered all my pages and lined them up to punch the holes for an 8″ album.  I pulled the #4 peg when it came time to add the additional holes at the ends of the pages.
  2. I trimmed the We R Memory Keepers White Cinch Wires to about a 7 ½” length and placed them on the hooks.  I threaded the inside pages of my mini album first, then the front cover, and then the back cover (the front and back covers faced each other so I could hide the seam) on to the binding wires.
  3. I set the cinching bar to the size of the .75″ wires and pressed down.

My album looks great!  I created a simple cover using the Just Duckie pattern paper along with a birthday cake Die-Cut and Maggie Thickers for the title of my mini album.  I added the Icicle and Honeycomb glitter glues to the flowers and candle of the birthday cake Die-Cut for some sparkle.

I adhered the Baby Girl Plaid pattern paper to the front cover and embellished using a card from the Baby Boy Quotes pattern paper.  I love this quote card!

I used the Baby Boy Blossoms pattern paper for my page here.  Lots of pretty flower stickers around my photo!  I used the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Styleboard Die Set and Baby Girl Quotes pattern paper to create the bow embellishment.

I love the bunny design on the Baby Girl Posies pattern paper and couldn’t help but use a matching bunny Die-Cuts for this photo!  So sweet!  Love the glassine page that gives me a sneak of the next page.  That deer Die-Cut is too adorable.

I adorned the Baby Girl Quotes pattern paper with layers and star Stickers.  A “mama’ duck Die-Cut hugs her “baby” duck Puffy Sticker for lots of love.

I added lots of flower and butterfly Stickers to embellish the photo on the Baby Boy Blossoms pattern paper.  I used the soft pink stripes on the Woodland Baby Girl pattern paper for this sweet teddy bear photo.  How perfect is this bear Die-Cut?  I cut-up the journaling card from the  Baby Girl Quotes patterned paper and added some pink mist to a few words before adhering it around my photo.

I used the Just Duckie pattern paper again for the back cover of my mini album.

Hi, Renee here today to share some lovely Happy Birthday cards using the very lovely Tealightful collection.  Since I’m celebrating my own birthday today, I thought it only fitting to create a few Happy Birthday cards.  I love creating cards with a bit of whimsy.  These cards are perfect for spring or summertime birthdays and great for any age!

I started my Happy Birthday cards by first Zazz!-ing up these adorable Die-Cuts and making them sparkle.  They dried pretty quickly.

Send birthday wishes with a bit of whimsy with these lovely Happy Birthday cards by @reneezwirek using the #Tealightful collection by @pebblesinc

  1. I created standard A6 cards which measure 4 ½” x 6 ¼”.  I trimmed the Teacups, Delicate Lace, and Floral Patchwork pattern papers to 4 ¼” x 6″ and adhered them to the card bases.  I cut out a 3″ circle window in each card using a template and trimmer from my stash of tools.
  2. I fussy cut leaves from the Lovely Lilacs pattern paper and adhered them around the windows of each card.  I also added pretty floral Puffy Stickers among the fussy cut leaves.
  3. I used the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Styleboard Die Set to add pretty bows to embellish each card.
  4. I centered and adhered the adorable Die-Cuts into each card window using Foam Dots.
  5. I centered and added the “Happy Birthday” Rub-Ons for my sentiments.

Here are close-up photos of each of the Happy Birthday cards.  I LOVE the adorable “animals in the teacups” Die-Cuts.  I cannot get over how adorable they are!  I love the sweet sparkle added to each of the die-cuts using the Icicle ZAZZ! Glitter Glue.  For this card, I used the Graceful Swans pattern paper for the bow embellishment.  Love how quick and easy it is to add the rub-ons for the sentiments.

For this card, I used the Fresh Picked pattern paper for the bow embellishment.  I changed up the rub-ons from black to gold on this card.  I just thought the gold would look pretty with the blue.  And, it did!
