Hello Pebbles Friends! It’s Leanne here today sharing an easy birthday banner project that you can adapt for any celebration! And even better, this super cute, 15 minute project will make any birthday boy or girl smile at the effort you’ve gone to.

Birthday Banner using @PebblesInc Land That I Love

Let’s get started by gathering your supplies.

I’ve chosen to use the Land That I Love collection. With its bold and bright primary colours, it is a perfect choice to help celebrate my youngest child’s 9th birthday today. Choose your favourite patterned papers and the mini alphabet punch board by We R Memory Keepers.

step 1. Trim the patterned paper to size – 5.5″x3″. Cut enough pieces to be able to display each letter in your sentiment – “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”.

step 2. Score a fold line at the top of the paper piece, 1.5″ down or at 4″ from the bottom.

step 3. Mark the center at the top of the paper piece with a pencil and trim an angle from this point to the fold line. Repeat on the other side.

step 4. Trim a small notch from the bottom of each paper piece and fold over the top.

Once you have all the birthday banner paper pieces, lay them out and arrange next to each other to prevent any pattern clashes or doubles.

step 5. To create the sentiment for your 15 minute birthday banner, trim off-cut pieces of patterned paper to size – 1.5″x2.5″. Coordinate each piece with one of the banner parts.

step 6. Following the instructions from the punchboard manual, create the alphas for the birthday banner.

step 7. Adhere the alphas to the banner paper pieces and measure a length of twine or string to sit under the fold. Once you are happy with the placement, add a small amount of adhesive to the point of the fold over and secure.

step 8. For simple embellishment, add two puffy dot stickers to the top of each corner to complete your birthday banner.

All that is left to do now, is to hang the banner and celebrate your loved one’s special day! Happy crafting..x

Hello, Pebbles friends! My name is Tessa Buys and I am so excited to be here today! Guess what? I’m expecting a little girl in early February. While everyone else may have Halloween on the brain, it was so very nice to sit down and create for Valentine’s Day. Now that I have some cute decor and Valentines made for my kids, I won’t have to worry about it once baby arrives. And the best part about this project is that I was able to complete the entire thing on my bed, watching my favorite show, with the help of a couple of trusty We R Memory Keepers tools: the Banner Punch Board and the Alphabet Punch Board.
First of all, how adorable is the Forever Always collection? Oh my goodness, it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day line. The papers were a dream to work with and the embellishments made accessorizing a breeze. First, I cut out banner pieces using the Banner Punch Board. Super quick and easy with this tool! These particular banners are 6.5 inches tall.
Next, I used the Alphabet Punch Board to create five X’s and five O’s out of contrasting patterned papers. I assembled the banner by stringing the pennants and adhering the X’s and O’s with foam dots. To embellish, I adhered a few rosettes and several die-cuts—all attached with a little metallic gold thread tucked behind.
I love to make my kids Valentines and, while I had all these gorgeous supplies at my fingertips, I went ahead created four quick and cute cards. I adhered a 4 x 5.25 inch panel on each card. Next, I chose embellishments and sentiments, keeping in mind I wanted my three boys to get cards that weren’t too frilly, but my that my daughter would really enjoy all the pretty florals in the collection.
For the “Love You” card, I added a die-cut heart and sticker tag (complete with tied-on ribbon), then applied the “love you” Thickers. Splatters of black ink and a black and gold color palette make this one a bit more masculine for my 14-year old. My 8-year old will receive the red card, as he still loves getting X’s and O’s from his mama.
The “Hello I Love You Truly” card is going to my 13-year old. Again, the black and gold with a touch of blue is great for my guy, and the added detail of blue backing the openings of the Thickers is a nice touch that I love, even if he might not notice. The floral card is for my little girl.  I already know she will love the combo of stickers and die-cuts because she already tried raiding my product stash for these pieces!
If you need a break from Halloween creating, or maybe you just aren’t ready to dive into Christmas, go for Valentine’s Day! The Forever Always collection is so fun to work with, and you’ll feel great for being so ahead of the game! Happy creating! And thank you, Pebbles, for the chance to play with such great stuff!
I live in Sacramento, California with my husband, three boys, and little girl (with one on the way!). They’ve been the darlings of my scrapbook pages since I started a family, but I had been playing with paper and glue long before they came along. I currently design for We R Memory Keepers and Elle’s Studio. When I’m not documenting life with pretty papers and embellishments, I’m getting creative in the studio teaching dance and setting choreography on competition students. I’m obsessed with the color yellow, short hair, and floral prints. Thanks to Pebbles for the wonderful opportunity to guest design!

Hip, hip, hooray everyone!  Heather Leopard is here and not only does October bring cooler weather for us here in Texas but it’s also birthday season for my family.  I love making fun cards and a fun birthday card is probably my most favorite to create.

Gather your supplies

You’ll need your favorite expressions cut to size from patterned paper, and the awesome embellishments (hello, enamel confetti!) from the Happy Hooray collection plus card bases cut to 8.5″ x 11″.  You can download my Silhouette template for card bases and the die cut words HERE.

Let’s get started with birthday card #1

Birthday Card set by @heatherleopard using @PebblesInc #HappyHooray collection #madewithpebbles #birthday #happybirthday #birthdaycard #birthdaycards

Fold your card base in half so it measures 4.25″ x 5.5″. Cut the words from my cut file found HERE and arrange them as shown in the photos.  Using matching washi, add some washi banner pennants and then place the large die cut sentiment from the Happy Hooray collection over the washi using foam dots, so that the pennants stick out from the die cut.

Add additional embellishments and enamel confetti for a fun and festive look.

Birthday Card #2

Wanting to wish someone a very happy birthday?  Get your point across with birthday overload.  To create this, fold your card base in half and place it in landscape / horizontal in front of you.  Add the chipboard “HAPPY” banner across the top.  Using that awesome washi again, run a strip across and under the banner to create a border.  Then, cut the words “happy” from the repeat stickers in the collection. Just cut it right down the middle so that you have the words “birthday” remaining.

Birthday Card set by @heatherleopard using @PebblesInc #HappyHooray collection #madewithpebbles #birthday #happybirthday #birthdaycard #birthdaycards

Find the center of your card and add 5 birthdays stacked evenly on top of each other.  I kept the stickers on the backing and was able to easily peel from the side and adhere all 5 on at the same time.  Easy breezy.  Next, add the words to the right and left, leaving an even gap in the middle.  Lastly, fill the gap with candles.  Add embellishments as you wish.

Now my birthday cards are complete and I’m ready to celebrate!

Thanks for stopping by today.

DIY Fall Home Decor | Fall Traditions DIY

Happy Fall, ‘yall!   Heather Leopard is here for fall traditions week. I thought I’d focus on decorating the house to get it started.  While our leaves may not change colors until closer to Winter, we do enjoy changing the scenery and pumpkin spicing everything indoors.

I started this project thinking I’d make a DIY Fall Home Decor banner but as I was on my last step (and searching for jute), I ran across this tin sign I had in my stash.  Changed things up and decided to give the banner a bit of a twist.

Step 1: Gather your DIY fall home decor supplies

DIY Fall Home Decor by @heatherleopard using @PebblesInc #heartofhome and #midnighthaunting collections #DIY #fall #falldecor #madewithpebbles

All you need are 4 – 6 coordinating patterned papers, a few coordinating embellishments, a die cut machine (manual or electronic), tape runner, jute or a sign holder.

Step 2: Let’s get started

Cut your banners approx. 3 3/4″ w x 5 3/4″ h. I chose to use 4 different patterned papers but you could get away 1 or 2.  Your project = your choice 🙂  *Set them aside.

*I do this step first so that I know how large to make my alphas based on how large I want my banner.

DIY Fall Home Decor by @heatherleopard using @PebblesInc #heartofhome and #midnighthaunting collections #DIY #fall #falldecor #madewithpebbles

Cut your alphas.  I created a lighter outline of each letter (2 1/4″ w x 3″h) and then cut each letter slightly smaller in contrasting paper (1 3/4″ w x 2 3/4″h) so that the letter would stand out more.

Step 3: Put it all together

DIY Fall Home Decor by @heatherleopard using @PebblesInc #heartofhome and #midnighthaunting collections #DIY #fall #falldecor #madewithpebbles

Now it’s time to assemble everything.  Using your banners as the base, lay your letters on top and select a few embellishments to add to it.  I selected a mix of dimensional and non-dimensional embellishments.  Once you like what you see, commit by adhering it all in place.

Option A or B…which will you choose?

This is where you choose whether to make a banner or add it to a frame other other cute sign.

While I had every intention of making a DIY Fall Home Decor banner for my mantle or foyer, I decided at the very last minute to do something completely different.  Luckily it all fit and I love how it turned out!  I guess you should probably make this decision early on in the process so you can make sure it’s the right size.

Hello everyone, it’s Eva again on the blog, bringing you a quick tutorial for a birthday banner using the lovely new Happy Hooray line (soon to be in stores!).

@evapizarrov shows you hot to create a quick birthday banner with @pebblesinc newst line #HappyHorray and the #bannerpunchboard by @wermemorykeeper

This line is everything you need for your celebrations—the designs are fun and colorful and ideal for both kid and adult birthday parties. My favorite item from the line is the Cake Topper; love it!

Today I wanted to show you how to make a quick Birthday Banner.

To Begin:

Start by cutting eight 6″x4″ squares. Next, use your banner punch board to trim a triangle on the bottom.

@evapizarrov shows you hot to create a quick birthday banner with @pebblesinc newst line #HappyHorray and the #bannerpunchboard by @wermemorykeeper

After that, cut some 3×4 images from the Birthday Wishes Patterned Paper and add it to your banner, along with some die cut shapes.

Keeping it all together:

To keep your banner together with ease, use a sewing machine. The Stitch Happy is perfect because you can use thick thread!

The Embellishments:

After you have sewn your banner, decorate it using some chipboard stickers.

As a final touch add some ribbon to the edges of each flag.

I love the banner! It is perfect for our next birthday party! Do you make banners for your parties?
