Hi friends!

The long-awaited announcement about the team is here…and we couldn’t be more excited! Here are the members of our new team:

 

You’ll remember Leanne, Heather, Eva and Wendy, but we are adding Tehri and Amanda to the mix…and we see awesome things for this next year!

Be sure to check out their social feeds; you’ll also see more from them very soon!

We had so many amazing applicants that we invited a dozen of them to be guest bloggers over the next year! So many wonderful things are in store for you, including new product releases, crafty projects, giveaways and more.  Hope you enjoy!

Pebbles Design Team Call for 2017-2018!

Are you the ultimate fan of our Pebbles products? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We are accepting applications for the 2017/2018 design team from now until November 15th (please send them to [email protected] by midnight).  We’ll take a few days after that to go through each application and choose 6 team members to start design work by the 1st of December! You may see some familiar faces in the end or all new ones—we aren’t sure yet! Either way, we can’t wait to see what you send our way!

So…what should you include in your application?

  1. A favorite photo of yourself!
  2. A crafty resume (a brief history of your craft experience and links to your social media pages)
  3. 3 of the following:
    1. scrapbook layout
    2. card
    3. gift
    4. planner spread

What will you be expected to do as a member of our social media team?

  1. Create 3 projects a month (could have opportunities for more, but you’ll only be expected to do up to 3)
  2. Promote your blog post project on your own social media channels
  3. Be a loyal brand defender for Pebbles Inc.

That should do it! We will notify you by the 22nd if you are on the team and will make the official announcement on the 30th!

We’ve been keeping it a secret for the past little while, but today we’re so excited to announce our Pebbles Design Team for 2015-2016!

This group is going to make some fabulous projects and really inspire you – we’re sure of it! We have the full crew from this past year returning minus the wonderful Mendi Yoshikawa, who we will miss dearly. We wish her the best on her new crafting adventures! And we’re excited to welcome a new member to the Pebbles family, Amy Cowley!

We know that you’re already familiar with most of the team, but we thought we’d introduce you to our newcomer and tell you a little about her.

Hi! I’m Amy! I love to create home decor, paper and wood crafts and sewing projects. I started The Happy Scraps in 2008, as a way to share some of my favorite projects with friends and family. My husband Tom and I are the parents of four boys and have a baby on the way. We are excited to learn the gender in a few weeks. While I love working on my blog, being a mom is the best job in the whole world.
A few fun facts about me…
  • I grew up in a very small town in central Utah, where I learned to love crafting and sewing. I never thought I’d be a “city girl,” but I am raising my family in Salt Lake City, UT.
  • While in high school, I worked for my dad’s excavating company. I can operate several pieces of heavy machinery, including a backhoe and loader. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and I attribute my love of wood crafts and DIY to this experience.
  • I spent a lot of time scrapbooking my kids early years and developed a real eye for working with patterns and building upon basics.
  • My hair is naturally curly. I have a love/hate relationship with it and I am always looking for new beauty and styling products to try.
  • I live in a land-locked state, but I am a certified scuba diver. My husband and I are always on the lookout for an opportunity to vacation on a warm, sunny beach.

We can’t wait to see what these ladies whip up this year and hope you get to fall in love with them just as much as we have!

Hi! My name is Eva Pizarro, I’m Chilean and I live in Santiago with my husband Marco.

I discovered scrapbooking while finishing my engineering degree in Italy 8 years ago, and I immediately fell in love! I now do something scrap-related practically everyday! I like to scrap pictures that have a story or mean something to me. I use clean lines and often a neutral background. I also think journaling is really important! I’ve always liked to write about my feelings and emotions, and I found in scrapbooking a way for me to express my inner side and my creativity.

Meet: Amanda Coleman

Hi, I’m Amanda Coleman! I live near Rexburg, Idaho with my husband of 13 years, my 10 year-old son, and 8 year-old daughter.  We are bonafide city slickers turned country folk.  Almost two years ago we bought a small farm and are still learning the quirks of managing a larger property.  We have and a bunch of critters including goats, chickens, cats, dogs, and a horse.  We have also raised ducks, turkeys, and pigs.  The farm is one big, fun experiment!

I delight in everything chocolate and relish my daily Coke Zero.  I enjoy crafts of all types.  I sew a little, crochet a little, and enjoy baking and cooking.  I used to be a high school teacher and teach biology part time at the local university.
